I booked my appointment 2-3 weeks ago and called specially asking for Anna and Trong. I just moved to the city and have been having a hard time finding a good nail parlor. I arrived super excited and left super disappointed because neither of them really took care of me. They spent around 2 minutes with me and passed me off to another person. No one took the time to ask me what I'm thinking for my nails in the beginning and no one took the time to ask me if I'm satisfied in the end. It wasn't even that busy because it was 9AM and there were only two customers (me and another lady). Maybe it was me because there were a lot of staff members who tended to the other lady. I felt like I was pushed off to the side. I felt super uncomfortable to voice my opinion until now because I realize I really did not receive the service requested, the quality of my gel nails is poor, and I did not feel pampered when I should because I spent $140 (mani/pedi +tip). This was my first time and I called and made an appointment with tom or Anna they are truly amazing. They are super friendly and very good! I had a broken nail and it took of my real nail tom was very careful taking the nail off and didn't hurt me not once. It hurt more breaking it. I have been here for a couple of spa pedicures here and they have been great! No wait (i've called like 15 minutes ahead and they've had time) and good service. I don't get gel polish but the regular polish still lasts for about three weeks. Reasonably priced and tipping with venmo is super convenient. Nothing about my experience was good here. They were nice, but the service, the time it took, the quality of nails, and the lack of transparency both in whether they could actually achieve the nail design I was hoping for and the steep price ($126) that I didn't know would be so much until the very end makes me never want to come here again. I called to make an appointment- when I got there no one saw me for 15 minutes. They didn't tell any walk ins that they were too booked so they ended up doing some walk ins before me- the whole thing for a set of gel x took 2.5 hours! They were all rushing and it seemed like not able to make people feel cared for. I felt anxious wondering when they would get to me or how long until they came back to me serval times. I showed them multiple designs I liked and said whatever they could do well and the fastest works for me, and the first nail tech chose one design that would need an airbrush. The 2nd person who painted my nails did not get anywhere close to the reference photo. They tried but were not transparent about not having the proper equipment to achieve this look. They also were rushing trying to fix the edges and filed my skin which made a cut And after all this it cost $126 and they didn't even put lotion on my hands! Will be coming back for my touch ups. Only downsides is the location, you have to find street parking, and the shop is really small. Paid for a pedicure over phone as a gift to my sister. Never received any confirmation of receipt. When my sister went to claim a week later she was rudely turned away by "Tom," the man who initially took my call and card number. When I called to correct the situation he was EXTREMELY rude to me and yelled on the phone and insisted I dispute with the Bank instead. Tom additionally would not tell me the owner's name. Turned a birthday gift into a nightmare of terrible customer service. Do not patronize such a rude place. Will take service instead elsewhere. Edit: This is in response to Tom's slanderous reply. Tom was very happy to initially take my money over the phone. My sister complained when she went in she was treated very rudely. Being busy is no excuse for rudeness to a potential customer, least of all to one that has pre-paid. She didn't want to return because she was already treated poorly. When I called Tom was immediately defensive and rude from the jump. One of the most vile things a small business can do is to act like what they deem a small amount of money is "beneath them." And that is exactly what he did. Additionally, he did NOT provide me with any sort of email receipt, nor did he tell me that would be necessary for my sister, those are just lies. I had provided her name and assumed that was enough. Doubling down on his rudeness here only proves that I am glad I cancelled the service through my bank. Additionally, I WOULD like the owner to know about this employee. I can only imagine how disruptive it would have been for his customers to have to listen to someone be so nasty.
