    Egg Foo Young

The moo goo gai pan was ok, but the chicken tasteless. The chicken looked like very thin little slices, like lunch meat strips. The egg foo young was horrible. It was very dark brown, burnt in many places, and it was hard to see much egg. I've had egg foo young many times, I've never seen or tasted anything like this. The spring rolls were cooked in oil that was way too hot. The were very dark with a little taste of being burnt. However, the inside piece of the dough wrap was soft and mushy. I'm sure It couldn't be left in long enough to cook because the outside was seconds away from be burnt. The fried rice was good. I order from here because the ratings were higher than other places.

Portions are large but not much flavor and the dumplings are ridiculously doughy services was fast and friendly

    Nicely packaged to go!

Some of the best Chinese takeout I've had!! Unlike most Chinese joints, Chi Lin uses real chunks of chicken breast, fried very nicely to a crisp. The meat is juicy and the sauce flavorful. Lo Mein and fried rice both very solid. Had crab Rangoons as well, which honestly could have had a little more krab in them for my liking, but were nevertheless very tasty and crispy with a side of sweet and sour sauce. Pricing is exceptionally fair at around $10 for a large meal. Takeout service was friendly. Doesn't seem like any room to sit inside, but I'll be getting it to go anyway. Overall it was very satisfying and I can't wait to go back!

My Chin Lin meal, Tangy Crispy beef and Beef and Scallion Dumplings.

I stopped by Chin Lin a very small modest Mamasan and Papasan Chinese/Taiwanese take out place in Merritt Island. Ordered the crispy tangy beef, fried rice, and beef and scallion dumplings. Was told food would be ready in 20 mins, which indicates to me that food is cooked to order, and I was right because food was super hot. Service was good, Crispy beef and rice was good, but was not a fan of the dumplings, they were gluey although very meaty inside. Overall not bad for Merritt Island.

Got Chinese to go and it was all very hot and good. Took it home as the restaurant is not a sit down place.

This establishment is a no frills little mom and pop place. But my friend told me it hit the spot. Similar food from her childhood she said. I'm really glad we found it. I also wanted to give a shout out to the server, whom I can only assume is the "pop" of the mom and pop restaurant. He was attentive, making sure we had water, and asked if we were good with the food, and just overall very nice. Keep in mind, no frills - disposable plates/plasticware etc. so having the friendly service as well was a nice touch. About the food, we have the fried pork chop bento box. The pork chop was nicely flavored and tender. There was some minced pork with gravy over the rice which was perfect. We loved the pickled veggies in the bento also and the soy sauce egg. I highly recommend trying their bento box options when you're here. Plus, I noticed they had lunch specials too. Will have to try next next for lunch. We also had the Taiwanese sticky rice, popcorn chicken, plum sweet potato fries and oyster omelette. All were very good. It had so many items! Loved the cabbage, the pickled vege, braised egg, two slices of sausage, broccoli, and minced meat on top of the rice!! The pork chop was lightly battered and fried! It had the perfect texture of chewy and crispy. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken was also really crispy! It was perfectly seasoned and was a great small snack! We also ended the meal with mango shaved ice! This truly was the best shaved ice I've had, you can tell they use real mango for the ice. It was perfectly fluffy and sweet. The mango ice was a must order! The owner was so welcoming as well. The series was so nice and friendly.

All I can say, this place simply blew my mind!! I never expected this resto to be this GOOD! Came in around 7:15 pm and there's were a few people waiting and I signed up on their Yelp waitlist kiosk. But I got seated about 5-10 mins upon arrival. So when looked at the menu, they had 3 dishes that were Michelin guide recommendations. The first one is their wonton soup, the pan fried Peking duck buns and the steamed buns with bokchoy and mushrooms. So I was curious and had to order the wonton soup and since I love Peking duck, I ordered the buns. Here's my assessment: 1. Pork and shrimp wonton soup - 15/10 - the soup was pretty neutrally flavored but still good to my liking but oh boy, the wonton was out of this world!! It came with 6 large wontons, some bokchoy, seaweed and the broth. I always ask for chili oil and when I took a bite of the wonton, the sudden burst of deliciousness that I felt in my mouth was indescribable. Then I dipped the wonton in the chili oil and it added another layer of umami flavor. This is prolly my Top 2 wonton soup I've had in my life next to the one I've tried in Hongkong years ago!! Every wonton I ate the more I just want to eat more wontons . It's INCREDIBLE. 2. Pan fried Peking duck buns - 20/10 - this should be a Michelin star dish!! The bun was a little sweet, soft but that first bite felt like all my salivary juices just exploded. This is the BEST BAO BUN I've had in America. The most perfect combination of sweet, savory, salty, with a touch of five spice and a gastronomically out of bounds dish - It's UNBELIEVABLE!! Every customer should not leave this resto until they've tried this one!! Trust me, you may want to eat at least 4 pcs of this. I would have wanted to get 2 more but I was already full. 3. Steamed bokchoy with garlic - 10/10 - love the freshness of the bokchoy, well poached and the garlic was just enough that it was not overpowering yet it was garlicky. I wish we can have Kung Fu Kitchen in CA but I guess FL is more business friendly. They also have their sister flagship resto in NY!! So if ever you come to Disney World or Orlando for a work or business trip, pls do yourself a favor and make sure you put this resto as part of your itinerary!!!
