This Chinese buffet is exactly as pictured in all the photos. The food is well presented, replaced often, propper temperature and tasty. With the exception of the Hot & Sour Soup, I found everything done well. Its closest competition is China Garden in Cocoa in Byrd Plaza on the mainland and is a few dollars less expensive. This restaurant has a larger selection and much nicer atmosphere. This is your typical upscale American Chinese Buffet fare. Very good to excellent for that category. It is not authentic Chinese like you would find in Chinatown. I enjoy eating here regularly and it is a great place to meet someone. Easy to find, plenty of parking and seating, and everyone can find something they like to eat. Plus, because it is a buffet, no waiting. You can eat right away if you are on a schedule. This place is great! You get exactly what you expect when walking in the door. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is coming out hot! The sushi is made fresh and always coming out. I'm going to start with the negatives the crab leg selection could have been better my mother and sister were very vocal in there displeasure, the variety of sushi seems to have lessened, apparently they stopped with the custom rolls, and my dad's go to desert wasn't available. Now for the positives the server was very kind attentive and courteous they had a decent variety of standard faire and one that I was happily surprised to find, it's location in general and in distance from where there house is well placed and very convenient and the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant are pleasant overall I'd say it was a nice visit and the price point works well with most budgets I would not say that you have to go if in the area but I also would not tell anyone to avoid it. They over charge for kids, even though their sign clearly states the price is by height. They even have a giant ruler on the wall with the heights marked in red sharpie, I still had to argue not to pay the full adult price for both of my small kids (both under the red mark, both about 50 lbs soaking wet). In addition to typical oriental food choices they have a large Japanese Sushi and Sashimi counter. The food was delicious. We went on Christmas Eve for a lunch/dinner. It was a Saturday so the cost was $17.95 each. It was nice to be at dinner time because there are so many other options available that aren't available for just lunch. When you first enter you are greeted by the hostess who takes you to your table. Your server the.ln greets you and takes your drink order. From there you are free to eat whatever you desire. They were by the table frequently to check on the drink level and taking any plates we were done with. At the end they dropped off the bill with some yummy mints. When you enter you notice the large central dining room with two "group rooms" along the side. The Sushi is made somewhat fresh, not to order but it didn't sit long enough to be dry. I also had some hand rolls that had been just made. Very tasty! They had some nice salt and pepper soft shelled crab and shrimp that I really enjoyed. The crab ragoons were also warm, soft, and very tasty! We didn't try the hibachi this visit also didn't see anyone else trying it as well. The rest was your generic buffet food. Nothing I tried tasted bad or was cooked improperly. It was all very fresh. I haven't been to a buffet in many years (pre-Covid) and this seemed a lot like I remembered. Only bad things I noticed: customers. Parents still allow their young kids to go up on their own without supervision. One kid dropped a crab leg onto the ground and put it on top of the food on his plate. I guess I should be glad he didn't put it back into the rest of the food. We watched this group of kids the entire time. If they visited an area we sadly stopped going to that area because of their constant coughing on things. This has nothing to do with the establishment more of a reminder for parents to keep an eye on their kids at an establishment like this. Then there was a funny story. My daughter went up to the deserts and found a 20ish girl with a spoon hitting the jello. She turned to my daughter and said "they are bouncy" and giggled. We were here a couple of weeks ago and this place was packed and they had hot delicious crab legs. The crab legs photo on the web site show that they're on the hot bar. We came today and the crab legs are on ice. We asked for hot crab legs and they said they only had cold on ice. They were horrible.
