Several months later all those pieces are growing back and now I'm stuck with bangs and baby hairs coming out from the front of my head. My experience came off as aggressive by the aesthetician. The ladies doing the laser were very nice and put me at ease. The ladies at the reception counter were super friendly as well. Check in is easy. Appointments run on time. Treatment lasts about 5-15 minutes. Very quick and easy. In and out. The place is super clean. Walls and couches are white. After first 2 treatments, I barely had to shave except for the next appointment. After 3rd treatment, I had some hair but it was very fine and I only shaved for the next appointment. I've been getting my bikini and underarm laser treatments for almost a year now with Zarrina, and been absolutely loving the results. My biggest regret now is why I've waited so long to start. Quite ineffective! And defensive when questioned - yikes. Firstly, do the math - 65 dollars for 12 sessions , plus 20 % in tips is about 1000 dollars for a very small area - your underarms. Even after that the results "varies depending on who you are", and you'll need to come in every "3 to 6 months". 1000 dollars is about 4 years of monthly underarm waxes!! More below: I signed up for my underarms and was told I will need 6 sessions given I have such light hair. Completed 5 sessions and was told no need to book a 6th session because the results are great. I insisted on booking a 6th session just so I have it in my calendar to come back in case required. They cancelled the 6th session on the day of because they were unexpectedly closed, and by 3 months since my 5th treatment I noticed that most of my hair was coming back. I called in to ask for a resolution or recommendation - and was actually quite surprised to speak with the manager Jazlin who became extremely defensive and talked in circles without listening, insisting repeatedly that 9-12 sessions are required and if anyone had told me differently, I was misremembering?! I was very confused about why she was so defensive when I was only seeking advise or solution, but it might be a personality issue. Also Jazlin really needs some feedback to not continuously talk over people and actually listen to what the clients are saying. Not everything is a fight, girl. I asked very clearly about what happens if I do 12 sessions, and if the results will be better then -- and again Jazlin just could not give a response, repeatedly alluding to how "people's experiences are different" - asking for the average experience, she also did not seem confident in her response. I worked with technician Svetlana / Oksana who was generally kind, but during my 6th session also became defensive. It was so hard to communicate to these folks that I am not saying you have made a mistake, I am just asking for advice on a solution. There needs to be some employee coaching here to approach customers as advisors instead of trying to defend their product and work. TO NOTE - I have very little hair to start with. This was just a try to see if I could get rid of the rest. For those who happen to have a lot more hair, I imagine the experience will be even more challenging. Also the constant force sell of sales is off putting. I've heard great things about Satori and maybe I'll try another of their locations, there just seems something off with this one. read more

I've been going to Satori Laser for over a year now and I've always had a good experience here. The first time you come, you fill out a survey about yourself and the technician goes over the whole laser process thoroughly. I remember repeating some questions and the technician was very patient to answer my concerns. Every visit after that is rather quick. You sign in on an iPad when you arrive and never have to wait more than 5 minutes for your turn. The waiting area is always stocked with the latest magazines and jolly rancher candies. I've had great results for my underarm and upper lip. I haven't had skin discoloration or irritation. The whole process does not take me longer than 5 minutes and I'm always in an out quickly. For my underarm and upper lip I've done a total of six sessions each but will probably need 2-3 more sessions for touch ups. I started seeing the most results after the 3rd session. Just got my bikini treatment done tonight, and preparing for the summer time! At the same time, I'd like to share my wonderful secret treatment with ya ladies. First of all, laser reduces hair is the truth, it works. Bikini hair is annoying for me, and I've been seeking methods to treat it for many years, waxing and shaving doesn't change a thing, and finally I found laser treatment. With the machines at Satori, it doesn't hurt as I thought or as many people describe. The old version machine does hurt and have less result, but Satori have the most updated ones. The technician will tell you to shave the treating area the night before treatment when you make reservation, and it will take only 20 minutes for the treatment. I was taken to the clean treatment room by the tech, she did confirmed with me the treating area is NOT tanned recently to be able to proceed. The tech gives me a pair of special glasses to protect my eyes, and she informed me when she starts the treatment. Every zap of the laser follows a pitch sensation, the tech immediately presses on the spot which releases the uncomfortableness right away. During the treatment, the tech checks on me if I'm doing ok, and she changes settings depends on the thickness of the hair. From my first visit I have always felt welcomed at Satori. The UES location is always clean and smells great. The receptionists are knowledgeable and kind and the technicians always do their best to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Of course the laser process is painful (the coarser the hair, the more painful) but the techs are hyper sensitive to your pain and will give you a break if needed. Can be a bit pricey depending on what area you're doing, however, it pays for itself in the long run especially if you're constantly waxing. The results are sooooo worth it!! Definitely recommend.
