As we are sitting here in a near empty restaurant. Ordered 2 pizzas and a salad. Salad was 1 persons meal. 10 mins in and salad came. 25 mins later and no pizza. A ton of staff and again 1 table seated inside and almost empty patio. This should have been my sign. If they were full, you probably need to order your pizza the day before and schedule in advance your lunch time. Salad gone and still no pizza. Review edit. One of the tables outside had 20 minutes in between food being brought out to them. Half the table was done eating and a pizza came out. Can I undo my tip? Wow. Wow. Speechless. This is THE best dining experience i've had. Levi our cashier/server went above and beyond. Every interaction from walking in the door, to getting our outstanding food, to leaving, Levi brought a contagious smile. This spot is the spot. They have the best macaroni and cheese, as well as pizza you can't pass up. Cassy was a girl that took our order and brought our food. She was wonderful , nice that make our meal more enjoyable. They have a good place for sitting down even for a group. I loved the idea that they are fast food way but still stylish and give you a great service .You can order your food at a cashier pay there and then just grab your sign and they would bring your food for you at your table. So instead waiting there and grab your food they make an afford and bring your food for you . I tried Mac and cheese and pizza pig was so delicious. The pizza pig was nice and thin, with a delicious pepperoni and ham. The dessert was baking fresh , was hot pizza cookie with top of ice cream that make it super delicious. I've been to Sauce (at this location) before and had great experiences. Last night I went again for the first time in awhile and it just didn't seem to be as much of a good experience. The food was good, but wasn't as great as I remember it being in the past; the overall experience just seemed different. I think the customer service had something to do with that. We walked up to the counter to place our order and the girl working seemed uninterested with our presence. My husband asked what they had for rotating beer selection and she said "I don't know what rotating is, but we have these." And pointed to the refrigerator behind the counter holding the alcohol. She didn't list any or make any recommendations. He again tried to clarify and ask what they had on the beer rotation and she again said "I don't know what rotating means." My husband then had to explain what he meant by the rotating beer and told her that he was trying to find out if they had any new flavors or specials for the month. She then kind of laughed and said "No, we don't have anything new, just this." (Again pointing to the refrigerator). We had a $10 off coupon for joining the Sauce email list, and when I showed the coupon, she just walked away without saying anything. She came back a minute later with manager card to scan (I assume) and we finally paid and went to find a place to sit. The whole customer service experience just seemed unfriendly and uninviting. Can't say I won't ever be back to give it another try. Food was still decent. Could've just been an off night. I sure hope it was just that. read more

There is outside seating. Since the weather was perfect for alfresco dining, We got one of the last tables outside. On your way to order, you walk past this huge blackboard with the menu items listed on it. When I got to the counted I ordered an Italian panini. This is turkey, ham, cheese, lettuce, and roasted tomatoes drizzled with vinaigrette on a lightly toasted bun. It came with a side of potato chips. My panini was brought to my table in a reasonable amount of time.The sandwich was alright. Not bad for the price, but not stellar. The chips were Lay's or something similar. The waitress did come by several times to check on us and clear any dishes. My wife got a salad which came with a dinner roll. She avoids gluten so she gave it to me. I could have played hockey with that thing. No one with dentures could have eaten it. If I do return I am interested in trying one of their signature pizzas and a glass of wine, The pizzas are unique and the wine list adequate. read more

Had to check here out again for a yelp event! I've been here a couple of times, and it's always a solid choice! We started with a Caesar salad. A seemingly easy salad, but I love how they use the perfect amount of dressing. This was followed by the Mac and cheese (with sausage) and the pig pizza. The perfect amount of comfort and delicious food! the Mac and cheese is not too liquid and the thin crust is always a favorite for me. One of many locations in the valley, we got a chance to try out the Mesa location since we were in the area. They have a pretty extensive Italian menu from pizza and pasta plus they have a great menu of salads. At first thoughts I was thinking it was a sit down restaurant where they take your order, but it's more of a order at the counter and they'll bring the food to your table. We really felt like pizza sounded good so we went with the wild mushroom pizza and the lasagna pizza. You do have choices on the type of pizza crust like thin, traditional and hand stretched. I was told the hand stretched is the best way to enjoy the pizza. We went that direction and we also had a sweet tooth and got the peanut butter pizza cookie. Now getting the pizzas, they're about a 12 inch pizza and came out hot and fresh. The pizza crust had that nice soft, crispy crust that was really tasty. I did notice with the wild mushroom pizza, I felt like they're wasnt much mushrooms,cheese or even sauce. It wasnt a loaded toppings on the pizza by any means but was a good pizza nevertheless. I really enjoyed the lasagna pizza. It had a good amount of toppings with the ricotta and the sausage. It was by far my favorite pizza! Ending off the meal, we got the peanut butter pizza topped with ice cream. It was very delicious and the cookie was right out of the oven that gave you a nice balance of soft,warm and crispy cookie to add the cold ice cream. I recommend getting this! Went on a Saturday afternoon at around 4ish. Service was fast but food was not good, front staff was all females and none of them seemed interested in their job at all. Saw on another table a dead fly in one of the Parmesan shakers!!!! Our meal included 2 entrées, which we ordered 2 pizzas... the pig and an artichoke, mushroom and sausage. The cashier recommended thin crust, which in my opinion was cracker thin. Although very flavorful, It didn't hold the toppings up very well. And about the toppings... They need to spread them out more evenly and not just in the middle of the pizza, that's why it sags. The outer part of pizza hardly had any sauce or toppings. Now let's talk about that cookie à la mode. I know the cookie is hot and fresh out of oven, or micro... not sure, but I couldn't even eat it because it was just super greasy. One shouldn't be able to sap the grease up from a cookie with their napkin. Im sorry, just gross. I guess the question comes down to would I come back here again on my own? Prob not. The staff could not give a S&*% about the customer. They do not answer the phone and most days you can no longer order online -- I know today is exceptionally busy with $3.14 cheese pizzas - but the staff was still yelling out announcing it will be an hour at least to everyone that walked in the door - disrupting the guests that are dining! We came about 10 days ago - unable to order online - so we called in to order -it went fine until we needed to make a change not even 5 minutes later and were told too late - the pizzas are done - ok we will come get them - nope not for 30 minutes....so are they not done and we can change to thin crust - NOPE~!
