Stopped in here on our way home from vacation and would stop again. We both enjoyed the beers we drank - my husband especially the Neopolitan Milk Stout. I would highly recommend the cashew encrusted brie, yummy! We both enjoyed our sandwiches - I had the turkey reuben and my husband had their burger. My sandwich was great and my husband thought the burger was good (maybe not the best he had ever had, but he enjoyed it). Highly recommend the walleye. Husband had chicken wings and fries which he throughly enjoyed. Beer is good too flight with Oval Beach Blonde SBC Kolsch True Scot Pumpkin Chai Leaves for Days and Darker than Your Soul. Leaves for Days was my favorite. Great wait staff we will be back. read more

Disappointed in the beer selection for a hot day I do not want to be drinking heavy stouts and porters when it is 80+ outside. Also disappointed in the beers we ordered tasted very skunky and like it came from the bottom of the Keg. Might go back sometime but not anytime soon. read more

We stopped here on our way home from Grand Rapids tonight. The Cubs game was on the big screen--World Series #5. Go Cubs, go! At 8:30pm, 30 minutes before closing, they were happy to serve us a wonderful Back Yard IPA to accompany a delicious turkey Reuben. Good times. We'll be back! read more

All around good. We had the French dip, steak salad, zucchini fritters, fried shrimp apply, and fish 'n chips. All of it was spot on yummy. We also tried the Blonde, Maggie's Irish Ale and Backyard IPA. Not a single complaint. Good time, fun atmosphere and very nice service. read more

The food gets a 4.5, the beer gets a 3.5. We split a shrimp pizza which was fabulous, and shrimp mac and cheese which was pretty good. I had a 6 beer sampler. Most were OK, but none made me say "I HAVE to grab a 6 pack of that". read more

July 3rd 2016 my family of 5 ate here for lunch. The service was excellent. It's a holiday weekend and we got our food very fast. The food was very good and a must stop if you are in the area. We had to wait to be seated but there is an antique store right next door so no problem with the wait. We will be back again this summer so keep up the good work. read more

If you love great beer, this is the place! I give the beer five stars because it is unbelievably wonderful. However,I give the decor "0" stars because the decor is really pathetic, sort of K-Mart meets Wall-Mart and intersects at boring. Though our food was fine, it was so disappointing that when an adult in our party simply wanted chicken tenders (only offered on the kids menu), she was refused. It seems poor business practice not to simply allow people to order what they want off of your menu. As a result, she ordered nothing. So, the business got none of her money, and insured that we won't be back because they would not make a simple kids meal from their menu for an adult. Btw, there was no adult portion offered or we would gladly have ordered that. What a shame. read more

No Dogs Allowed! Very disappointed when we weren't allowed to have our pup on the patio or even on the other side of the fence. Saugatuck is a very dog friendly town as well! There were no signs up stating it was not pet friendly so when we went to sit down, the hostess came out to tell us, which was a little embarrassing as all the other customers were looking over. read more

My partner and I tried this place for the first time this past week and were very disappointed. The waitress was not friendly and obviously was never trained to properly tend to guests. She never even asked how our meal was, which I assumed was because she was used to getting very negative responses. The beer was very good, however the food was absolutely disgusting. The texture of the chicken breast on my club sandwich was strangely rubbery like it was made from something frozen then microwaved. A word to the owners...spend a few dollars on a chef that understands fresh, well prepared food and fire whatever zombie you have cooking right now, most people who enjoy good beer also enjoy good food, and there is a growing number of microbreweries who are out there doing it right. The beers were very good. My wife and I each got a flight of 6 beers with only one overlap. I got the IPAs and really liked their continuum IPA. A great IPA, good hop florals and taste without an overwhelming hop bitterness. Food was average pub food. Not bad but also not great. read more

We reserved the Saugatuck Brewing company for our rehearsal dinner for 120 seven months ago. We had email confirmation and were in communication many times. We called to confirm and they told us they were canceling our event. They said they had made a mistake and were having a fund raiser instead. We asked if we could use the front since it was their mistake and we had already sent invites. They said no, they could make more money by not doing that! The owner and manager were rude, thoughtless and unkind! Please NEVER support people that would treat others like this! Head to Alley's Classic Diner! They were so kind and helped us out of this horrible circumstance and provided amazing food and kindness! Please don't reward bad behavior!!! read more

On a week vacation for a family event and stopped here for a beer and food and the band. Whole experienced was changed, not because of our server, but because of Ashley W. She was the manager on staff and she was courteous and updated us with the progress of our meal (which was taking longer than expected) the food was great, environment was great, and beer was great. The brisket was too tough to cut with a knife. It would have been nice if the waitress returned to offer a refill and I don't like it when the bill arrives with charges that I wasn't told about. Maybe it was just a bad day for the restaurant but there really was no excuse for serving that brisket. read more

We really enjoy this brewery,usually stop late afternoons on Saturday's. The music is always good and doesn't overpower any conversation. Service is fast and the servers we've dealt with have always been helpful and knowledgeable. Food is good to very good, a little pricey but not out of line for where your at I think. WE like the stouts and Bonfire Brown ale is one of my favorites along with the Double Black IPA. read more
