Different atmosphere here than at the downtown Holland pubs. More of a neighborhood/family vibe than a student/hipster one. No food here (not even packaged snacks), but some outstanding beer. Can't beat the price of a sampler: 6 generous snifters for $9. Our favorites out of the bunch (see photo) were a porter and a saison, though there was nothing I'd turn my nose up at. It's a laid back place to enjoy a pint, and order in some food if you care to.

This is such a great brewery in Holland. Located in a little strip plaza, this brewery has some amazing beers. We decided to get a sampler and everything we tried was fantastic. The locals at the bar were hilarious and they loved sharing stories about the brewery. If you are in the area, don't overlook this brewery. It's located just on the outskirts of town, but it's most certainly worth the trip.

Awesome brewery! Love the beers and the atmosphere in here. Plenty of seating although when I visited last time close to opening hours, seating was scarce (I attribute that to the holiday season). We scored a seat at the bar and the staff was so friendly! We shared a flight and all of the beers were so good; I was really impressed! My favorite surprisingly was the Strawberry Rhubarb. I love it so much I brought a few cans home. FYI--they can make cans to order from anything on tap. Only downside: no food. Most breweries at least have a food truck. But there is a place next door and you can bring your own food so not a deal breaker. Looking forward to coming back next time I'm in town!

Yay! I was so happy to slide into Brewery 4 Two 4 yesterday on the way to catch a sunset at the beach! I have been hearing about a lot of great things about them and it was not a disappoint! They do not have food and I tried about 3/4 of the menu, as some styles I just don't like so I didn't bother. Everything blew me away (and I don't say that often). All of the beers were true to style, had the body, the nose, and an amazing mouthfeel. When the weather is warmer I stick to lighter and more 'refreshing' beers. I tried - Let's Play 2 - American Lager: great tasting refreshing Lager Crazy Putin - Russian Imperial Stout - very true to style, tasty but not something I want in the summer, give me this in the winter all day long! Breakfast in Maui - Stout - I wanted to like this more and this is one of their most hyped up beers. I just can't do coffee in beer, for me this needed more coconut but I am sure I am in the minority when I say this. Dry Hopped Pale Series - just perfect Juice Weasel - they jumped on the NEIPA hype train and they nailed it! Great summer drinking beer! King's Cross ESB - ESB, not many breweries around here make these, so I was happy to see one and really enjoyed it! Bestside Wheat - Witbier, I am a sucker for wheat and German beers and this one stole the show for me! Keep up the amazing work!

We got the beers called, you do you, juice weasel, Eureka!, Ghost Rider, very berry pie, Rye I dream of ginger. Only $8 to get a decent size four of six beers! Bartender was laid-back and willing to chit chat. Loved the music, alternative and Blues. There is no food so do not come hungry. Saw a family bring chips and sandwiches however. They don't serve any food but they allow you to bring your own in or there's a pizza place next door that you can order from and they will bring the pizza to you in the brewery when it's ready. We went in on a Sunday afternoon after finishing up a photo shoot in Holland State Park. I had never been to the area and was looking forward to going to a brew pub with craft beer and food so we ended up going to New Holland Brew Pub. The interior of Four 2 Four is clean, hip and trendy. They have a good beer selection, a large bar top as well as tables to sit. Late Sunday afternoon there were maybe six people in three different groups in there. Several flat screen TVs to watch the game if you'd like. It is located in a small strip mall on a quiet road with only the small banner sign to identify it, my photographer drove by it twice before I pointed to where it was. A Couple of friends from Zealand recommended it to us as a great microbrewery so give it a try if that's all you're looking for.

As someone with celiac disease, eating out can be stressful, but when I informed our server, he immediately reassured me that they take cross-contamination seriously and ensure a safe meal. While they do offer outdoor dining, we opted to sit inside, and the service and food were fantastic from start to finish. To drink, I started with the kiwi pineapple margarita--they offer multiple types of rims, and I went with sugar, which was delicious. The summer sangria also sounded amazing, but I stuck with the margarita since it was guaranteed gluten-free. For food, we shared the ricotta with gluten-free toast, and for my main, I had the Beyond Burger on a gluten-free bun with a side of chips that were confirmed to be safely gluten-free. Finding a place that is this accommodating, knowledgeable, and delicious is rare, and it made our trip so much better!

They also have a little shop on-site, which is a fun feature to check out! Their menu has items clearly marked "GF," and they offer both GF buns and pizza crusts, along with a huge selection of cocktails. When I asked about the seasonal sangria, our server was incredibly knowledgeable. She explained that they make their vodka in-house and while it's gluten-free, it's not certified gluten-free, but their gin is certified. I really appreciated that level of transparency! Our server even asked if I had celiac disease, which immediately put me at ease. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip, which they brought out with gluten-free chips, explicitly announcing it as "gluten-free" when they set it down. For my main, I ordered the garlic cheese pizza. The crust was really good--perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was attentive, safe, and welcoming from start to finish. If you are celiac or gluten-sensitive, this spot takes cross-contamination seriously. I will definitely be back!

Although it was busy, we were seated immediately. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside, which helped the wait. The menu is fairly short, but that wasn't an issue since there were still plenty of appealing options. I started with the Dragon's Milk Toasted Marshmallow drink. Based on the name, I expected something sweet, but it was much more bitter than anticipated. We also ordered the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pinwheels, and they were incredible. Crispy, flavorful, and easily one of the best appetizers I've had at a restaurant. I highly recommend giving them a try. For my meal, I got the Dixie Luau, their take on a Hawaiian pizza. It was excellent. The crust was the perfect thickness, and the toppings were generous. What really stood out was the pineapple, it tasted fresh and high quality compared to the canned pineapple that many places use. If the weather is nice, definitely ask to sit on the front patio. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the food, and do a little people-watching. The atmosphere was great, and I'd absolutely come back the next time I'm in the area.

Our waitress was really nice and overall service was quick. We ordered the Lemon Chicken and the Wedge Salad. The reason why I'm giving this restaurant 3 stars is mainly because of the chicken dish. I was expecting it to be more citrusy, but I feel like whatever lemon flavor it was meant to have was lost by some sort of sweetness. I think the Meyer lemon butter made the dish was so oddly sweet it mixed in with the rice underneath. Overall, this dish was sadly disappointing since we were looking forward to something savory and herby but got what felt like a sugar bomb for chicken. The salad was good and loaded with toppings, however, I felt like there was way too much dressing that drowned the salad once it was all mixed. If possible, I would get the dressing on the side. All in all, great ambiance, good service and a wonderful location. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong things. Still worth checking out, if you're in the area!

We arrived at 9:45pm and were seated at a cute, cozy little couch and table setup. The hostess handed us both a drink menu and a separate food menu. Looking through it, I was thrilled to see quite an expansive cocktail list broken down by "chapters," as well as several small snack options clearly marked with a gluten-free (GF) label. Unfortunately, the experience was a bit disappointing once we tried to order. Despite the online hours stating the venue closes at 11:00pm our server informed us that the kitchen was already closed. There is no indication online of what time the kitchen closes, and it was incredibly disappointing to be handed a dedicated food menu by the hostess only to be told moments later we couldn't order anything. When I asked our server for recommendations and which specific cocktails were gluten-free, she mentioned she was new and had to go check. She returned about 10 minutes later, only to give a vague answer that "most drinks were gluten-free" without offering an actual recommendation or helpful suggestion. My husband ended up ordering a non-alcoholic drink, but between the kitchen confusion and the lackluster service, I opted not to get anything at all. It's a cool venue with a lot of potential, but they should put their kitchen hours online and better train their staff on the menu.
