This is my absolute place for a cider! We had a bit of a hard time finding! It is located in a strip mall, but we had a hard time seeing the signage. The inside has lots of space and had a steady flow of customers. There was only one server, and she was able to keep up with the customers' orders. You do have to order at the bar. They had several taps on hand. I had the best cider I have ever had. It was the Lit Lemonade Crush. It was so refreshing , it was called a cider shandy. I wish I could have bought some to take home, but they can the beers/ciders on site and it has to be refrigerated. Definitely will return when in the area. read more

Different atmosphere here than at the downtown Holland pubs. More of a neighborhood/family vibe than a student/hipster one. No food here (not even packaged snacks), but some outstanding beer. Can't beat the price of a sampler: 6 generous snifters for $9. Our favorites out of the bunch (see photo) were a porter and a saison, though there was nothing I'd turn my nose up at. It's a laid back place to enjoy a pint, and order in some food if you care to. read more

This is such a great brewery in Holland. Located in a little strip plaza, this brewery has some amazing beers. We decided to get a sampler and everything we tried was fantastic. The locals at the bar were hilarious and they loved sharing stories about the brewery. If you are in the area, don't overlook this brewery. We were in Holland and decided against the other more popular brewery because we can get those beers (and do) anywhere and we were SO GLAD that we did. Their selection was amazing and did not disappoint. So many microbreweries have predominantly IPAs and seeing as how I don't like the taste of soapy grapefruit lol, i don't drink those. They had a very wide selection and everything we tried was EXCELLENT. The bartender was very helpful and pleasant and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. Definitely stop by!! read more

Each time I've been here, I've been pleasantly surprised. They cover many styles of beer very well and there are mainstays that deserve their position on the menu. Then there are the latest beer creations that are well worth a try. Some seem like unlikely combinations but they really work well. One of my favorites is Big Dumb Animal (Imperial Marshmallow Fluff Stout base with bret and fruit). Awesome! They're always willing to give samples if you're not sure. Awesome brewery! Love the beers and the atmosphere in here. Plenty of seating although when I visited last time close to opening hours, seating was scarce (I attribute that to the holiday season). We scored a seat at the bar and the staff was so friendly! We shared a flight and all of the beers were so good; I was really impressed! My favorite surprisingly was the Strawberry Rhubarb. I love it so much I brought a few cans home. FYI--they can make cans to order from anything on tap. Only downside: no food. Most breweries at least have a food truck. But there is a place next door and you can bring your own food so not a deal breaker. Looking forward to coming back next time I'm in town! read more

Hands down my favorite brewery in Holland and possibly Michigan. Their beer is fantastic - they know how to brew the more traditional styles but also aren't afraid to get creative with adjuncts and flavors. With 20 taps there is something for everyone // a wide variety to make the best flight to try a little bit of everything. My personal favorites are Very Berry Pie (fruit beer), You're Gonna have to Stay the Night (double ipa), Juice Weasel (hazy/NEIPA) It is what it is (hazy/NEIPA), 301 (brown ale) the Meow series (fruited tea milkshake ipas), and any of the big imperial stouts that feature cereal/candy bars/marshmallow fluff, etc. Throughout the Covid shutdown they have struck a great balance of keeping their core beers on a steady rotation while continuing to crank out new and creative brews. Updates are posted to their fb - the perfect solution if you suffer from new beer FOMO. Online can ordering system is simple and straightforward; beer is usually ready for pick-up within an hour. This is a great compliment to Sluggo's Pizza located right next door. They have a great selection of beers, and we're particularly fond of the "Time to Take My Pils" Pilsner. Great brewery! There is plenty of seating here... both tables as well as along the bar. I love that they leave water out for patrons to help themselves. They're in the process of painting a neat mural which will be fantastic when finished. Aside from that, there are plenty of TVs for entertainment and the beer is extremely reasonably priced. The only thing I thought was strange was the lack of any food. Some breweries sell bags of chips or other munchies, but not this one. Just make sure you eat beforehand :) read more

A nice selection of good craft beer to either enjoy in the taproom or take home in 16 oz cans. If you order from Sluggo's, a couple of doors down in the strip mall, they will deliver it to you. All in all, a casual place to enjoy a good craft beer and a pizza if yo want to. read more

Yay! I was so happy to slide into Brewery 4 Two 4 yesterday on the way to catch a sunset at the beach! I have been hearing about a lot of great things about them and it was not a disappoint! They do not have food and I tried about 3/4 of the menu, as some styles I just don't like so I didn't bother. Everything blew me away (and I don't say that often). All of the beers were true to style, had the body, the nose, and an amazing mouthfeel. When the weather is warmer I stick to lighter and more 'refreshing' beers. I tried - Let's Play 2 - American Lager: great tasting refreshing Lager Crazy Putin - Russian Imperial Stout - very true to style, tasty but not something I want in the summer, give me this in the winter all day long! Breakfast in Maui - Stout - I wanted to like this more and this is one of their most hyped up beers. I just can't do coffee in beer, for me this needed more coconut but I am sure I am in the minority when I say this. Dry Hopped Pale Series - just perfect Juice Weasel - they jumped on the NEIPA hype train and they nailed it! Great summer drinking beer! King's Cross ESB - ESB, not many breweries around here make these, so I was happy to see one and really enjoyed it! Bestside Wheat - Witbier, I am a sucker for wheat and German beers and this one stole the show for me! Keep up the amazing work! read more

We stopped in for a drink on the way home from dinner. I was hoping for more beer selections but had an IPA that was pretty good. Not a bad place at all but there are better options. The location is not great and not what we expected. You need to order at the bar. Not a big deal as more places are going to this type of minimal service. The bar was busy and quite loud. They don't serve any food but they allow you to bring your own in or there's a pizza place next door that you can order from and they will bring the pizza to you in the brewery when it's ready. We went in on a Sunday afternoon after finishing up a photo shoot in Holland State Park. I had never been to the area and was looking forward to going to a brew pub with craft beer and food so we ended up going to New Holland Brew Pub. The interior of Four 2 Four is clean, hip and trendy. They have a good beer selection, a large bar top as well as tables to sit. Late Sunday afternoon there were maybe six people in three different groups in there. Several flat screen TVs to watch the game if you'd like. It is located in a small strip mall on a quiet road with only the small banner sign to identify it, my photographer drove by it twice before I pointed to where it was. A Couple of friends from Zealand recommended it to us as a great microbrewery so give it a try if that's all you're looking for. read more

I've visited this establishment both pre- and con-COVID. The beer has always been masterful (I love that the brewer also has fun with the product!). Before the pandemic, the brewery was always a great atmosphere. I've ordered curbside a handful of times since the shutdowns. EVERY time, when delivering my beer to my vehicle, the staff thanks me for ordering, for supporting them. And they are genuine. This speaks volumes to the culture of Brewery 4 Two 4, and I cannot wait to visit them again. read more

Don't try the burger! There isn't one but outside food is welcome and right next door. This place is all about great beer and great beer they have. I recommend trying samples first because you don't want to miss out on anything. After that, I imagine you'll stick around for some full pours of your favorites. The Strawberry Rhubarb is the one for me...and others. Ok, all of them. The space is a clean and neat mix of industrial and rustic, with one of the coolest bars I've seen. I cannot say enough good things about Brewery 4 Two 4. On a recent trip to Holland, I stopped by for pick-up. This was my first time to Michigan, and this brewery was close to where I was staying so I was excited to try some local brews. I had planned to stop by a few breweries on my trip to see what Holland had to offer - that plan was quickly changed as soon as I had the beer here, and I only ordered from here for the entirety of my trip. The staff is friendly, my orders (I made multiple over the course of a weekend) were filled early, COVID-19 precautions were taken, and the beer is OUTSTANDING. Coming from Chicago and having lived on both the East and West coast, I can confidently say Brewery 4 Two 4 is now in my top 5 breweries, nationwide. What an absolute gem of a place. I would - and plan to - happily drive the 2.5 from Chicago to grab some more! read more

Where to begin.. first off, if you are a tag a brew person like myself you absolutely need to make your way over here. It is outside the main downtown Holland but worth the 3 minute drive. After a flight of 6 different beers I was absolutely in love with this place. The flight itself was an adorable, rotating little table. They also have products for sale made with their beer, soap, beard balm, and lip balm. Their growlers were top 5 most creative growlers I've seen in my life. It was an extremely cool baby keg. As a graphic designer I was completely in love with their logo. We ended up leaving with the most comfortable zip up hoodie and baseball T. As a fellow restaurant manager/server we were completely thankful for Kate's service. She spoke so highly of this brewery and informed us it had only been open for about a year. She helped choose different beers based on my tastes and helped me choose apparel. One of my favorite places I've found on my brewery/tag a brew journey so far. We're from Nevada, have been traveling across the USA for 4 weeks and stopped at many breweries along the way. This one is our favorite!!! The bartender was super friendly and upbeat, the prices are great, and all the beer we tried (12, two different flights) was stellar! A little location tucked away but so worth it. I like this bar a lot. They have a huge selection of craft beers and they all sound great. I had one and it was really good. They are close to captain sundae so that's a plus. They don't have cider or wine though. My wife would have preferred that. read more

This is the coolest little brewery in town. Despite being new and brewing on what appears to be a very small system they have a huge selection. Big tap list with a wide variety of styles. Everything from light up to 9% stouts. I had a flight which was a good value and the beers were all fantastic. The glassware is unique and more high end like you would expect in an expensive beer bar rather than a small brewery which makes for great presentation. The space is unassuming and clean. It's big and open with just a fence to separate the brewing area from the taproom. I love that you can see everything. Makes the space fell bigger too. It's a very relaxed vibe. I really anticipated the opening of this venture and checked the sign on the door often. I travel extensively and have made it a habit to check out local, small scale breweries, and appreciate the enthusiasm most operators ( and staff) display concerning their beers and processes. '4 two 4 Brewery' fell short in that regard. Despite not being busy, staff behind the counter STAYED behind the counter and failed to engage patrons. General impression was that they were there to sell you beer...not a bad business model, but geez (!) talk to your customers, show some 'passion' for your time and efforts. Good selections of varied beers, and they will likely rotate...no mention or posting of what's in the works. 2 of the 6 'flight' selections were favored by myself and friend. I want them to succeed... but let's get some nibbles or connect with 'SLUGGO'S for flavorful options. A rugged industrial theme is evident throughout the space, with sturdy tables and the live edge bar top. Stop in for some great tasting beers, grab a pizza next door and make it an afternoon. Outside food is welcome as they do not serve food on-site. Helpful staff can point you in the right direction if you cant decide, or do a flight and try them all. Must stop for Holland! read more
