The spa area in the women's area is a bit compact but still has all the amenities to get ready for a session or get primped up upon exiting. Like many of the facilities at Vidanta - which attempts to cater to all price points, they fall far short in the luxury category. You can't make all the people happy all the time, even though they try. The massage technicians were ok. The facility itself was poorly designed and in need of repair. As in there are loose - sharp - tiles in the steam room. In a room where there is always limited visibility, do you really want sharp little 1" tiles loose right where someone will sit bare assed? Overall, this is probably an amazing spa for someone who has never been to an amazing spa. If you've been to a decent spa you'd probably think this was OK. If you been to a really nice spa (in PVR, the Hotel Mousai spa is probably the best) you'd sit in the hot tub and write this review to warn others. Update: bill for a 50 minute couples massage - no add ons - $10k+ (Pesos). So out the door over US$700. More than what we pay at the Wynn Las Vegas!

Our disappointment was that at no time during booking or check-in did anyone notify us that their steam rooms were out of service. Steam is 1/4 of the circuit and it was unavailable. Also, the sauna was warm, but definitely not hot. After 10 minutes we were just starting to sweat. And their cold plunge was cold but not freezing, as it should be. Overall, I'd go back because of its accessibility, but with significantly moderated expectations.
