My husband and I stayed at the Marriott PV for the weekend and I had a chance to visit this spa while at the resort. I got the full-day pampering package which was absolutely divine! It included a back massage, facial, and pedicure. It was worth every peso. The place was fairly empty so it made me feel like I had my very own private spa for a few hours. I highly recommend visiting Ohtli if you are in PV!

This spa is absolutely beautiful, found inside the Marriott hotel in Puerto Vallarta. As soon as you enter the spa, there is an overall peacefulness. I signed up for the 50 minute agave body scrub where they basically scrub your whole body with the agave sugar and oils. They give you a robe to change into and a locker to place all your belongings. The room was dimmed down and had an amazing aroma that made the experience very peaceful. Once the scrub was over, I am sent to shower which is in the same room to remove all the sugar. After the shower, they gave me a massage for another 15 minutes. The scrub itself I felt could have been a little better, I expected to get cleansed completely since that is how Korean body scrubs usually are. This scrub was more of a relaxing massage. After the scrub, they let me use the rest of the facilities of the spa which include the jet pools and a relaxation room. I especially enjoyed the relaxation room; it had a selection of hot teas to drink from, a water tank with cucumbers, apples and mint. I was able to enjoy my drinks on a beautiful loft chair with a blanket. After enjoying the relaxation room, there are private showers with all essentials to wrap up the spa experience.

A good spa is good. Ohtli was a good spa. I didn't get any reminders or anything when I booked so totally forgot my swimsuit. But they were very nice and service was good. Would recommend additional snacks and magazines in relaxation room.

Great overall experience. We did a day package with massage, pedi and facial. All was great and very relaxing. Stay as long as you like before or after any package. They have separate male and female lockers with jacuzzi, cold plunge, hot plunge, foot soak and sauna and steam rooms. The quiet rooms are also separated for men and women. They offer plenty of water bottles and have hibiscus tea in a pitcher in the quiet room. Bring your swimsuit. They will have a robe and slippers for you.

Beautiful spa! Service is amazing. Definitely relaxing.

Spa water, Ice cold face towels/cucumber slices available. You can wear your own sandals or they can provide. Robes and lockers provided too. Wished there were more areas to layout closer to the amenities. They have a nice peaceful space outside to rest and lay out too (however beware of mosquitoes-they love me) You can actually make an appointment to just use the amenities without having to book a service (if there is room, like when it's slow season...clients with spa appointments always get priority) The massages I have gotten there have been wonderful. I strongly recommend Beatriz (Betty)! Book her and keep her busy Good pressure, strong hands, attentive and friendly (speaks English ) I got three 80minute Swedish Massages! Each time was better than the last! (My sister joined me once too and we were able to be in the same room, however she does NOT recommend getting Argelia unless you just want to be rubbed. She asked multiple times for more pressure and she didn't comply). Definitely will be back.

A lot of the spa amenities were also closed or non-operational today. No outside Swiss showers and the large coed hot tub wasn't working. My wife and I did use the smaller outdoor hot tub (we were told rather rudely that the hot tub we were in was "men only" - no signs and everyone was wearing bathing suits in the outdoor area so not sure why this was a rule). Like many of the facilities at Vidanta - which attempts to cater to all price points, they fall far short in the luxury category. You can't make all the people happy all the time, even though they try. The massage technicians were ok. The facility itself was poorly designed and in need of repair. As in there are loose - sharp - tiles in the steam room. In a room where there is always limited visibility, do you really want sharp little 1" tiles loose right where someone will sit bare assed? Overall, this is probably an amazing spa for someone who has never been to an amazing spa. If you've been to a decent spa you'd probably think this was OK. If you been to a really nice spa (in PVR, the Hotel Mousai spa is probably the best) you'd sit in the hot tub and write this review to warn others. Update: bill for a 50 minute couples massage - no add ons - $10k+ (Pesos). So out the door over US$700. More than what we pay at the Wynn Las Vegas!

Everywhere you walk you can smell the eucalyptus. I loved talking deep breathes and talking in the calmness it brought. The dressing areas are separated but it is not private. They have shared and separate steam rooms. Hot tubs are located in an outside lounge area. There is a steam room also in that outside area. There is the Adobe feel all around you and though you know there is so much happening just a few feet away from the back fence, you do not hear or see it. You see the sky, the palm trees, and hear the calming music and birds chirping... We did a couple's massage. It was 80 minutes of pure bliss and when we were done they lead us back outside where we were treated to a refreshing fruit tray and sparkling wine. Service was great and everyone there were helpful and polite. I purchased our treat with a deal our resort had and am glad I did... The prices though in pesos amount to what a Spa would costs in the U.S. and in saying that, I would probably come back if I we're able to get another deal...
