He was represented by Marc Marsan. Marc came by the unit once to take a look at the unit for something when my lease was nearing renewal. I liked the unit, didn't love it, and was considering moving. I asked Marc if he had any units he'd recommend. Marc recommended that I stay in my current unit, because he thought I was getting a great deal. Think about that for a second, here's a guy, I've never paid before (he was my landlord's agent, I used someone else as my tenant agent), who owes me NOTHING, with an opportunity to make a fee from TWO transactions, both representing me as a tenant's agent AND getting paid to fill the unit I would have vacated representing my landlord, and he TURNED IT DOWN to give me his honest advice. I was frankly blown away by it all. I've since moved out of Beacon Hill, but I wish I had used Marc Marsan to start out with. The guy is just an honest stand up dude, which is IMO pretty rare in the real estate industry. I have forwarded all incoming new Bostonians to Marc ever since and never heard a bad review. Eventually June went tp the apt to take a look and sent pics. I was sooo excited to have found a great studio apt for my son attending graduate school in Boston. We arrived on Sat and found that June did not provide and accurate depiction of the condition of the apt. June took pictures of the nicer features and left out the fact that the cabinets do not close... that there was water damage in the bathroom that was slapped together in repair and never re-tiled.. rust on the hood of the stove.. the bathtub well you can see the pic below. Yes, my son is on a tight budget but we paid her fees and she was dishonest and that is unacceptable. I would not recommend this agency based on June's behavior.

In less than an hour, I had found an apartment that fit my budget, and it was recently renovated and professionally managed. I signed the lease two days later. I still browse the Craigslists posts and feel like I landed an incredible apartment for the price, so these people did me a great service. Some may not be willing to pay a finder's fee, but Presidential Properties has access to places you'd never find otherwise, they're extremely professional, and the process is as quick and stress-free as you could ever imagine. I would definitely work with them again if I wanted a Beacon Hill apartment, and I've recommended them to friends who are in the market for places.

I had told Andrea I would not be available that weekend as I had other priorities. She wanted to get ahold of me though so she constantly called my roommates (who I had just listed as a reference on my apartment application, I didn't tell her she could contact them for any other reason) all morning asking them where I am. This was all because she wanted to get a check from me that Saturday and couldn't wait til Monday when I was both available and the banks would be open. I think she may be an addict of some kind based on that behavior. On top of that she was just rude and did not want to lift a finger. I am paying this person thousands of dollars to essentially just be a paperwork middleman, and I told her that I need specific language in my lease saying I can have a dog (the landlord agreed to this verbally so I just wanted it in writing). She just straight up told me she didn't want to do that because it was too much work. I'm sorry I asked you to do a teeny tiny amount of work for your insane paycheck Andrea. Prior to hiring her as my…read morerealtor to help me find a rental property I had heard good things about her and savvy and effective she is at finding rental and sale listing properties for her clients in the past. She is very well known in my family and has done business with various members of my family over the years. After working with her I recently referred my mother and sister to her as an outstanding realtor who works fast to seal the deal in getting her clients signed to a rental lease. I was disappointed in her unprofessionalism 2 months ago when I hired her to help me find a rental property. She tried to hustle me into signing a handwritten lease agreement drawn up by the landlord whom I was approved for a 2bd condo located in Silver Spring, Md. I  immediately notified her that I was waiting to receive my housing voucher and that I that I couldn't give her and exact move-in date but she insisted that we keep the condo that I was approved for and that she would inform the landlord of the situation and for him to hold the unit for me until such time that I was able to move in. After 2 months of waiting for my voucher application to be processed I reached out to Dorte and stated to her that I wanted to withdraw my application because I wasn't sure how much longer it would be before I'd receive my housing voucher. I than requested for her to contact the landlord in order to recover my first month's rent and security deposit check that I paid him to secure the unit, but she defended the landlord's right to retain my money by stating to me that I forfeited my rights to retain my rent check due to lack in ability to move into the unit in a reasonable. She also went on to say that "If I could get you your rent check back I would but I will try to fight for you to get you the security deposit back that you paid". Her statement to me was immoral and unethical and she is fully aware of landlord tenant rights and responsibilities and for her to say that it was illegal for the landlord to have kept my money since I did not sign a lease agreement nor did I provide him in writing a confirmed move-in date. She never spoke with the landlord to address my concerns of withdrawing my application and requesting a refund of the security deposit and first month's rent that I paid to his realty company's office. To say the least I was shocked and appalled by her scandalous behavior to recoop a retainers fee from the landlord for getting an approved rental application. She didn't care about the interest of me, the client when she made that move. I than fired her as my realtor and stopped any present and future referrals to her by notifying my family whom I sent her business to that she is a red flag and to not do business with her. I will never use her for my rental or home buying needs nor will I refer her to anyone else in the future.

This is definitely the nicest co-working space you could ever join. Not only that they have multiple locations in he Boston area, each location has multiple floors. Each floor has offices, dedicated desks, phone booths and conference rooms of all sizes. Additionally, they are all equipped with top notch facility. You can book conference room through an online system. Conference rooms are equipped with TV and telephones for all business and presentation purposes. Another great thing about CIC is the system of kitchen and snack. Each floor has an amazing kitchen that is always fully stocked with energy bars, snacks, fruits, icecream, yoghurt, milk, coffee, tea and soda drinks from tap. Each floor kitchen's food is different, which pushes the members to mingle in the space. In a startup environment, network is the most important, which was indeed understood by the organizers of the place. Lastly, CIC has 2 co-working space. The one at the Cambridge location is called C3, which is geared towards more tech startups. The co-working space at the Boston location (Downtown Crossing) is called The Impact Hub, which is geared towards startups with social impact. Both have amazing facility of table, desks (including standing desks), conference rooms, mail address and free printing service. Since the Impact Hub locates on the 17th floor, the space is filled with nature light and a great view upon Boston. This has to be the best thing to look at while taking a break from running your startup. It's also full of entrepreneurial and active vibe from young passionate people. In addition to providing a space, they also organize community events where members can join and mingle. A few examples are 5k running, yoga, networking etc. every Wednesday at the Hub, they organize a community lunch.
