    Honey and Sesame Latte
    Daniela D.

Small stand set up outside apartments close to Beach Drive. Cute little setup for sure and nice seating in the shade. It's mainly just coffees on the menu. We were there early on a Saturday morning and they'd already run out of matcha. I decided on the honey and black sesame latte which I thought had nice flavor, but I don't like sweet coffees. My friends said it tasted bitter. The latte was $9. I think the price is a little steep, but I understand it's special ingredients. It also took a long time for the sole girl behind the counter to make my drink and I was the first to order with no line. The pastries I didn't try, but really didn't intrigue me for what they were. If I was around and I saw something on the menu that was new and interested me I might stop and try it but I don't think I'm seeking this cart out. Too many coffee shops in the area to compete with. 6.5/10

Thoroughly enjoyed Savage Coffees Cafe! Located in downtown St. Petersburg, by Beach Drive- the atmosphere is relaxing, warm and inviting. They're currently stationed in a van outside of their storefront, which will be inside The Nolen building, which consists of luxury condos. I loved the Geisha nitro cold brew I ordered, while my mom really liked her butterscotch latte that she ordered. We split a chocolate croissant, which was baked at Cafe Clementine- a St. Pete staple that is inside the Fine Arts Museum. All in all, a fabulous and friendly experience at a downtown St. Pete gem.

Cute little coffee shack. Looks like a popup but is there permanently. The gal was working solo and got caught up in the rush, but was very friendly. Coffee was good, the croissant was good and the chocolate chip cookie over salted. For 2 coffees and 3 sweets, it was $50. Wild. If the drinks and sweets were better quality, I might be back for a treat here even at those prices, but that's asking for a lot when the quality is just good, not great.

I'm drinking their Old St. Pete and after sipping a bit of it black, over ice, I can't get the taste of smooth coffee enhanced with rich whiskey notes out of my system. This coffee is so refined, balanced, and straight (no bitterness) my hairs jumped on my arm. So the coffee is good, yeah? Yes. It's incredible. Those old spice commercials from the 2010's about who, what, where, why and how ("on the back of a horse on the beach") is the quintessential idea behind what you're tasting here. The price for this bag was $40 and it's steep for sure, I however I'm not regretting every little sip I take. 10 out of 10 coffee. Unforgettable experience, unique taste, distinct flavors, and drinking it black will put hair on my chest from the euphoria of sipping on it. One last thing, on a separate note, the hours and lack of communication hurt this business deeply. I was only able to get a bag of coffee as I happened upon someone inside working. For a "micro roastery" the coffee speaks for itself, I only wish the business spoke as much as their coffee.

Lovely spot right on the water!…read more We go here often (right down the road from us), buy coffee and a yummy bite of breakfast, Then we walk 20 steps to sit under the shade of the cafe/bar where they have both low tables with sofas or high top tables that look over the hotel's small sandy beach. In addition to the shade provided by the cafe bar upstairs, there is always a fresh sea breeze that keeps things cooler. Great spot for a morning cappuccino or coffee! My husband switched to buying his whole bean coffees from them, and he's very happy with their selection. They carry Guatemalan, Ethiopian (my two faves), and several others. These folks take their coffee seriously! The staff are friendly, good at what they do, and helpful if you have questions. There can be a bit of a wait to n weekend mornings, but the line moves fast. Enjoy!
