This coffee bar is a second floor gem on central Avenue. I love the amount of outdoor seating with high tops, couches, and screens, but then you go inside to a cute, cozy, and intimate space that's giving caffeinated luxury. The barista was Amazing as she explained everything to us. They also have baked foods.

10/10 experience and I will be back! The drinks were absolutely amazing, every single one was an experience. I was hoping they had a few more food options, but they did have some pastries at the bar. The music was great, the windows give you a great view overlooking Central Ave. This is a weekend "pop-up" only open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, but I wish it was late night vibe every day, that would be stellar. The bartender was super friendly and personable, had great drink recommendations and was willing to help us customize any drink to our liking.

This is a fun experience. The flavors are unique and I'm particularly fond of agave number four. Very smooth. The rum barrels seemed to import a stronger alcohol taste than some of the others. This is a unique coffee experience. It shouldn't be missed. Take note of the limited hours, however

Hidden like a treasure above Grand Central Brewhouse in downtown St. Pete, Hogg Batch Gold Bar Coffee is a weekend-only gem that delivers an experience as rare as the name suggests. Open exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays, this boutique coffee bar elevates your morning ritual into something indulgent, refined and quietly rebellious. Their motto? "You deserve luxury." And for once, it doesn't feel like marketing fluff. Every detail from the golden aesthetic to the rich, inventive drinks feels handcrafted for the kind of person who doesn't just need coffee, but wants it done right. Start with the White Coffee a velvety double espresso layered with steamed milk, caramel, and vanilla cream. It's a balanced, rich-bodied drink that manages to feel both comforting and elevated. Pro tip: ask for it iced if the Florida sun is blazing. Trust me. Also worth highlighting is the Cold Fashioned Latte, a clever twist on the classic old fashioned, minus the booze but none of the bite. Built on smooth cold brew, it's perfect for slow sipping and even slower mornings. Think of it as your new favorite weekend ritual. Whether you're a diehard coffee aficionado or just looking for something beautifully different, Gold Bar Coffee doesn't just serve drinks it serves a vibe.

Tucked away in the Grand Central District, Hogg Batch is a truly unique coffee joint that feels like a secret worth sharing--if you're lucky enough to catch it open. With limited weekend hours (8-2 only), stepping inside feels like discovering an exclusive local treasure. I tried the iced white coffee with pistachio milk--a first for me--and it was smooth, nutty, and unlike anything I've had before. Their menu is full of adventurous options for curious coffee lovers, and the atmosphere is just as eclectic as the flavor combinations. There's also a tempting selection of sweets and small bites to grab alongside your drink. This isn't your everyday coffee shop--it's a place for exploration, creativity, and a little caffeine-fueled magic. Can't wait to come back and try more!

I'm drinking their Old St. Pete and after sipping a bit of it black, over ice, I can't get the taste of smooth coffee enhanced with rich whiskey notes out of my system. This coffee is so refined, balanced, and straight (no bitterness) my hairs jumped on my arm. So the coffee is good, yeah? Yes. It's incredible. Those old spice commercials from the 2010's about who, what, where, why and how ("on the back of a horse on the beach") is the quintessential idea behind what you're tasting here. The price for this bag was $40 and it's steep for sure, I however I'm not regretting every little sip I take. 10 out of 10 coffee. Unforgettable experience, unique taste, distinct flavors, and drinking it black will put hair on my chest from the euphoria of sipping on it. One last thing, on a separate note, the hours and lack of communication hurt this business deeply. I was only able to get a bag of coffee as I happened upon someone inside working. For a "micro roastery" the coffee speaks for itself, I only wish the business spoke as much as their coffee.

Their black coffee was fantastic, not too bitter dark but not so light that it felt like I was drinking water. My travel mate also had great things to say about their cappuccino. I wish they had a medium size instead of just small or large, but oh well. One morning we tried their egg/cheese breakfast sandwich. It was not great, a bit salty, but at the time it hit the spot and it was good enough so I was grateful for it. Not my favorite, but would have no problem eating it again if it were presented to me. I also loved being able to sit out at one of their little patio tables and enjoy the Florida sun! Everyone there was super nice, and was very obliging to adding a few little ice cubes to my coffee when it was too hot and I just wanted to chug it. Thank you, Kahwa, for quite literally fueling my Florida visit.
