Brown and smells absolutely god awful. I've waited many months to give them the benefit of the doubt and see if any of it was good. It was not. I even went to Stewart's meats out in Roy (where we normally buy big meat packages from) and did a test trial. Let them defrost in the fridge for a day or so. Northwest meats was brown and had a foul odor, Stewart's meats was juicy with blood and no odor at all. Conclusion made. They sold us rotten meat. Not cool for the food industry. Have some standards. That could have made someone really sick had they not known and eaten any of it.

Problem is, after 1000 reviews, it's not also easy to recall an experience, but this is what I recall about this place. The service wasn't friendly. Although I wouldn't go as far to call it rude, but the guy did act like our business was interrupting him. They had a homemade salsa that was better than anything you would buy in a retail store. They also sold something I can recall the name of, but it was chicken fat and my dog loved it I put it in a pot with water and simmered it into a broth and she was in doggy heaven. I also bought a pack of hot links that were probably closer to a spicy chorizo than traditional hot link. Since the business appeared to my Mexican/Latino, that just makes sense.
