So we asked what else was around and the hostess suggested Savage Pizza since it was walking distance from The Vortex. You walk in and place your order right up front and then find a seat....or you can grab a menu, find a seat and go back to the front once you decide. The pizza was fantastic, we ordered the Buttafuoco but added some jalapenos and mushrooms. It was outstanding. The thing that really made the pizza was how well the pizza was cooked on the bottom. Pretty good pizza here! Real pepperoni, garlic red tomato sauce, crunchy onion. What else is there to ask? The chicken Cesar salad was decent but you can probably skip the breadsticks. This place looks cool. Lots of toys and graffiti. The over hang sign gives X-Men vibes, odd yes, but not out of place for little five points neighborhood. After shopping at little five ponts and always grabbing coffee i had a chance to stop by Savage pizza, I always see busy, so we tried for lunch. Not to bad, small pizza ordered the perfect size for 1 person sliced into 4 for $10 not bad also veggie lasagna i was more of a bigger fan!! Made just right, warm, the sauce was flavorful, noodles cooked well, slightly crisp on top served with a warm side of garlic bread , this single serving of lasagna is filling i ate half and the other half later!! I also got a fountain drink for $1.49. The wait for the pizza was about 10-15 minutes, and it came fresh out of the oven. The pizza was amazing. All the meats, from the Italian sausage to the Canadian bacon, were seasoned and cooked just right. This is my favorite pizza spot in atlanta. Service for to go is always on time, great za with plenty of classic and unconventional pizza combos. The toppings are good but I think the crust is what makes it. Thin but still chewy and delicious. On Friday night I took the suggestion of a coworker and visited for the first time. To my dismay what I found is a greedy restaurant. I've heard of restaurants charging a gratuity for delivering a customers food or because a customer sat down to eat inside the restaurant. But never in my years on the planet have I seen a restaurant be so greedy and charge a 20% gratuity just for a customer who is picking up their order. Message to the restaurant owner or manager if your reading this review: Stop robbing your customers wallets. If your not delivering food to a customers address or serving food to a customer who decides to sit down and eat inside your restaurant then you should not be charging a customer a 20% gratuity for just walking in to pick up their order. Honestly we were out at Fernbank museum walking and not familiar with the area but GPS took us to this area. The first place we wanted to go to had a 21+ sign and police outside and yeah, my son is 22, but we were in a nature vibe and not sure what we'd be walking into behind that big V, so we saw this cool sign sign for savage pizza in the same strip center and thought it had a bit of a mellow mushroom vibe. You order when you walk in and they bring your food in boxes even if you're eating in, which is a bummer to nature as seen by the overflowing 33 gallon trash cans but aside from that. The service was great the staff was super friendly and the food came out fast. The breadsticks and cheesecake came at the same time as the pizza in a pile of boxes so they could improve the experience a bit but honestly, the food was good enough, I'm not mad. Sorry for not more pics. We were HUNGRY and it was super yummy. And the prices were reasonable . Canned beer and wine as well as canned and fountain sodas. No bar. read more

They do not offer slices of pizzas but they have small personal pizzas that you can order. You can customize EVERYTHING, even down to your sauce.
