Now known as Savage Tiki!!! Talk about a change of pace from the normal food places in Lubbock. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is just what your looking for... GREAT FOOD, DRINKS, STAFF AND THE ATMOSPHERE![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We went for brunch and I had the churro chicken and waffles, which was just the right balance of crisp with a sweet twist that just works. The rest of the party had the Hawaiian roll French toast, breakfast bowl and breakfast tacos. Everyone walked away saying we have to try the lunch menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I know they are still building out the location but I say "Don't wait, Go today".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

West Texas Chilton at Savage Tavern

Went in for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised! Rick the very friendly bartender, informed me the Chiltons were on sale, so I had my first delicious original West Texas chilton. I tried some fried elote, ehhhh. But saw the cheese sticks, which were huge, I will definitely order them next time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]New owners have been remodeling and there was a great patio![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Do yourself a favor and stop here.. easy, great service, great music food and drinks. Plz stop here

Pretty neat place-- my husband had the cheese sticks to start, which he said were close to being his favorite (next to Spanky's- also in LBK), a cheeseburger (nothing mind-blowing), and curly fries with their ranch dressing (said good, but again said as "good as Arbys"). I opted for brunch- having a blueberry pancake (my favorite thing on the plate), 2 scrambled eggs (unfortunately I think they added cheese without stating that on the menu... yeah, no bueno for me ), and a side of fresh fruit (wish they would have taken the time to take off the strawberry stems ). I had a Chilton to drink, and it was made very well. Overall, a neat place to hang out, but maybe not to dine at regularly.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. Bar food is normally average, but I'd say this is above average! Not spectacular, but definitely better than average food! Their strawberry spring salad was light and refreshing. The grilled chicken lacked flavor, but the dressing on the salad made up for it! We also tried their Fire Cracker Alfredo which was creamy and filling although it didn't have a kick of spice to it like we expected. It was a quiet Tuesday afternoon when we came by. Ordered up at the bar then sat outside to enjoy the good weather! Will definitely come back and try more!

I don't know where to start.... Absolutely incredible atmosphere! The inside is completely redone and looks amazing and the patio is super nice with a ton of tvs and seating The food is AWESOME. Their fried cauliflower is my fav and I get it every single time I come in The drinks are incredible. I range from ipa's to cocktails and everything I have ordered has been beyond worth it.

Not great, but not horrible. The server was nice and attentive, but the food took around 20 minutes to get to our table. The food itself: a delicious traditional breakfast! The chicken and waffles definitely won the favorite at the table. Our hash browns did come out cold, but everything else was spot on. The waitress did forewarn us that their chefs quit 2 days prior so they were still training. Overall, our table left happy and full.

amazing service and bar staff, rick and dee were so kind and gave such good recommendations! we enjoyed our karafe and time there ! [[HIGHLIGHT]]the atmosphere was a fun vibe ![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Good food, good service. STOKED to find a place with mimosas mid-week. Little pricey. Liked the vibe as well, especially the outdoor area. Table was wobbly but server attended to it quickly. I did take my two kids here and it wasn't an issue at all. However it was nearly empty when we arrived so that may have had something to do with it.

Bartender was kinda rude but typical bar experience. Food is decent for the price, but nothing to write home about.

When we walked in on May 19, 2026, the place was not too busy at around noon. Right away I noticed low lighting. Cool alternative, rock, and old R&B music playing in the background. A full bar. Pinball machines for tables. Lots of nostalgia in this place! Restroom was mostly clean. The food was okay. I wish there was a bit more flavor to everything. My daughter agreed. + The Damned Dog ($11) "All beef frank, house beef chili, cheddar, diced onions, and jalapeno crispies." This was good but the frank and chili needed more flavor. I opted for a side of house-made vegan potato salad (additional $1.50) instead of potato chips which really good. + The Sourpuss ($12) "Bratwurst, sauerkraut, pickle slice, crushed salt & vinegar chips, and queso fresco." My daughter enjoyed this with ketchup and mustard added and a side of smoked gouda mac. That mac was very tasty. We also noticed how crisp and spicy our Sprite and Dr. Peppers were. Loved that. I'd definitely go back again for a drink and maybe a sandwich next time. Ample lot parking.

It changed recently and is now a open to all bar called "Ohm". The set-up was very wacky. There was really cool red glowing cube seating mixed with nice leather couches, manikins, and hipster looking signs. It was quite the hodgepodge of items to say the least. It actually worked though. I liked it. It made me feel like it was a true "nightclub". They hired a crazy disc jockey and everything. There was of course crazy lights going all over the dance floor. The drinks were fairly priced and heavy handed. The bartenders were two very lovely ladies that I chatted with for a while since we got there before the huge crowd came. I really enjoyed my time here and would come again. They are only open on the weekends and sometimes they will open on a Thursday. If you are looking to go to a crazy fun bar not in the Depot District, this is your dive.

To be absolutely honest, I can never really figure out where to begin this kind of story…read more But if I shall be so bold, I WILL say that the adventure's climax occurred about two hours AFTER I'd crossed the threshold of Ohm Nightclub and Bar, of Lubbock, TX, and into the orbit of a man with whom I'd spend the next few weeks in a state of elevated spiritual awareness, but then I got stabbed. Long story short: I basically met God, or rather: "the goddess," this chick named Diane. She was intense, but I'm getting ahead of myself. It's difficult to rest a fingertip upon this story's exposed nerve. Where does one declare: "in the beginning"? and at which precise moment is it appropriate to collapse into the cozy armchair of a definitive "THE END"? Let's go back a few days, to North Little Rock, Arkansas. Peter (my companion) had recommended we rendezvous at "Sir Loins Inn" for brunch, which is a medieval-themed steak house, and (frustratingly) not the LGBTQA dance club we'd hoped to experience. I mean: Sir Loins Inn. COME ON Peter was wearing mustard-yellow Adidas three-stripe break-aways, and his hair was braided in the fashionable "corn row" manner. Seated as we were in tall, high-back throne-like chairs, our needs attended to by a staff of dark-ages-costumed knaves and whatnot, Peter looked magnificent, something like a Caucasian blend of Lionel Richie, and that cool keyboard player in Prince's band "The Revolution." You know: the guy in the doctor's outfit, but not the doctor keyboard player from Night Ranger, if that means anything to you, because it should. Pete was chewing thoughtfully upon steak tip onion rings, and after some debate (and rising distress on my part that he'd been literally chewing upon the same "tip" of meat for 46 minutes), we'd agreed to roll a custom-made 17-sided dice to settle a decision regarding our next stop on an westward sojourn we'd hoped would culminate in Clovis, NM. After several rolls, we decided to head towards Clovis immediately. We popped a few caffeine pills and hit the road. Nine hours and 36 minutes later, we arrived in Lubbock, and we both had to urinate so badly I literally thought I was about to literally die. We parked his Pontiac Le-mans, and ran indoors. The bar's lay-out was incredible, far as I could tell, as I ran through the establishment, and into the restrooms. That first impression was a bit of a blur, to be honest. The urinal has this cool little air-freshener "fan" thingy that you pee on. The more you pee, the faster it goes, an eventually it ends with a fortune. Mine said "basically everyone has HPV," which was really helpful advice. Timely, actually. Peter and I settled in at the bar, and had a few cold ones. The bar was HOPPING. I will never forget it. At the time it seemed as if I had never before seen so many attractive men and women not on the freeway. A man approached, and said hello. His name was Ray, Ray Stubbs, as I recall, and he said something really cool like "I'm about to introduce you to God, man, and it's going to be amazing." I remember saying something like "that sounds cool," but then Ray said "but don't say anything to her about (X) or she will straight-up stab you." And in that, Ray was not wrong. Diane totally stabbed me, but that wasn't until later. It didn't happen at Ohm. We actually had a super good time there. Food was great, DJ was amazing, and upon reflection I liked not getting stabbed there, not even once. That happened later
