This is our first visit for lunch on Sunday, one week after TTU May 2024 graduations, so it wasn't crowded and we were seated right away. Casual vibe with people sitting on the small patio having drinks. Concrete floors and music playing, but not too loud. They have a full service bar in the center. Plenty of televisions and looks like a great place to watch a game and chill with friends for drinks. My guess is that this place will be packed on game days since it's across from the stadium. We started with the brussel sprouts appetizer. It was tangy sweet with a little bit of spicy heat. The stuffed chicken and liberty pasta were excellent. Our specific server was very good and food came out fast. It's definitely a college bar scene. We will return to try other menu items. Our server explained that valet is free until 9pm and $5 after 9:00. The receipt also has a parking validation for free parking in the parking garage for floors 5 and up. You scan it on the way out of the garage, so don't lose your receipt!

First trip here. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with onion rings and the chips and salsa appetizer. Both the chips and the salsa were served warm, with a good flavor and not much heat. The sandwich came with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle with mayo. It didn't have much flavor and the chicken was tough. It fell apart half way through and I took the rest home to try later. The rings were crispy and tasty. It took a long time to get our food at lunch time and there weren't that many people in there. This is probably a great place to be on game day, but it won't be in the regular rotation.

Great new bar! My roommate and I have been there twice now and we always have a good time. The food is the best part, and although the wait can be a bit longer, we're going to chalk that up to the fact it just opened. You have to try the Mac & Cheese, it's amazing. For drinks, try the Chosen Island or Cloud 9. Speaking of drinks, our bartender, Hannah, was equally amazing. She really made our night and even went out of her way to go to the kitchen and find our food. The ambience is nice, kind of your typical american bar, with a vaguely Texas Tech theme. Lots of college students and locals when we went.

Everything about this place was fantastic. The food was absolutely amazing. The burgers were cooked perfectly, the fries were delicious, and they have a great selection of beers to go with it. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the staff. Our waiter, Drew, went above and beyond. He took the time to walk us through the menu, answered all our questions, and kept bringing extra sauces, jalapeños, and anything else we might want without us even having to ask. Another young man named Zo stopped by our table twice just to check in and make sure everything was perfect and to see if there was anything he could do to make our visit even better. That kind of attention and genuine hospitality really made an impression. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. My mom and I might be a little older than some of the crowd, but we felt completely comfortable and right at home. Great food, great vibe, and outstanding service. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Lubbock!

I went in for a late lunch on a Wednesday and there were only a handfull of people so I cant comment much on the vibe but its spacious and looks like it could be a fun place to hang out. I decided in the Guinness burger paired with a Guinness. It was deliciuos. Perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorful. The fries had a nice seasoning and I loved the Sriracha ketchup. I hope to come back soon to try another delicious burger.

The outside and inside general vibe is like that "millenial burger spot". Nothing necessarily wrong with that, but just so you know if you're looking for something different. I personally got the Kevin Bacon burger. It has bacon, blue cheese, and the regular veggie toppings that you'd come to expect on a burger. I thought this burger was good. The blue cheese wasn't overwhelming and went well with the meatiness of the patty which I felt was decent sized. Now the one aspect about Twisted Root that really surpised me... the pickles. They have a gah damn pickle bar! In these giant barrels! I don't even like pickles on their own, but the variety of options was enticing. They have dill, bread & butter, ranch, sweet & spicy, and atomic. It was really fun just getting to try the different options with the burger. They're all made in-house. My personal favorite was the sweet & spicy. Though I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. Pickle lover's paradise. All in all, I'm really glad I came here. I'm fortunate to have had wonderful, welcoming company take me here. It was a good way to finish the Lubbock trip. I wish I could come back, but those cards may not be in my future anymore. Lubbock isn't so bad after all. I really am going to miss it. Sorry, got side-tracked. Twisted Root is definitely worth visiting!
