I went with my family to Boulder to spend a few hours. My daughter-in-law particularly wanted to go to this store. She wanted to get some of the chapsticks. I ended up buying a couple and am enjoying them - they were $4 a piece as I recall. The store is beautiful inside. They have some non alcoholic drinks (I had a coffee) and offer alcoholic drinks as well. All of the sales associates were very friendly. If you're a fan of honey you definitely should check out this store!

This place has all types of honey from all over. One of my favorites is tupelo honey. Great flavor and not as much sugar. What is great is the mead bar in tye back. Get flights of different meads. Or just choose one that suits your mood. I got the passion fruit. Good flavor and actually refreshing. They are very helpful on the selections and what to try.

The mead flight were delicious. It was a huge help to have Enzo walk us through the different flavors and meaderies. The overall vibe inside is relaxing and a nice place to unwind :)

Love this store! They have great honey and also beauty products! I love the hand cream and lip balm in particular. The lavender rosemary smell in particular is my go to and I always come back here to get the hand cream and lip balm. They have many delicious honeys and can sample them. They also have a cafe in the back. I want to go back and try the mead flight sometime. Awesome service and such a cute store.

I've been want to buy some local honey so I was excited when I came across savannah bee co today on Pearl St! They have an overwhelming amount of honey...lavender, chocolate, cinnamon, etc. Also lotions, salves and tea! I opted for the local honey from Colorado Springs. They let you sample the honey and it tasted like regular old honey which is what I was after. It was fun to fill up in the jar myself and it made it seem extra fresh.

I really love this place. If you enjoy honey, you'll be in honey heaven. EVERYTHING honey is here! All kinds of skincare, honey flavors and types, I've never even heard of. Everything can be tried or sampled, and the associates are so friendly and ready to offer you another sample. My favorite is the Mead bar. This is so unique, and such a fun tasting experience, it was only $12 for a flight. I would for sure come here again!

What fun. We saw the sign honey mead and I wanted to try it! Never had mead and wanted to see what is being done with the ancient drink. We walked in and saw all kinds of honey. All kinds of flavor. Coffee. Candy. Etc etc. Went to the tasting room. $10 to taste. The lady that guided us was wonderful. Truly a wonderful experience. The mead variety is phenomenal. It was a fun stop and glad we saw it!

Was walking around Pearl Street and stumbled upon this gem! It is actually a pretty large store with tons of honey products (and samples!). In the back you have to try the mead tasting - it's only $10! I had never tried mead before and it was delicious. Basically, think sweet & honey aroma wine. BTW, I loved the whipped honey. I could eat spoonfuls of that from the jar! The employees here are very knowledgable and helpful, so don't be afraid to ask any questions. I really liked this store and would come back for sure next time!

The front of the shop houses the honey. As you move into the middle, you'll find the body care section with lotions and and then the soaps. In the back, they have a mead tasting bar and a cafe. The store is a modern farmhouse. It's clean and fresh. My chai was fantastic, although next time, I'll ask them to make it a tad less sweet. This was my first time "honey tasting" and I couldn't be more impressed. The staff is very helpful and inviting. If you're traveling, they'll ship your items for about $13, otherwise, you can shop online.

I've been here in other cities, but this was my first time Mead tasting. It was so so good. Lauren was so helpful and gave a lot of back story and information about the different blends. Super fun and would recommend.

So I had never done one of these wine and paint things until this past Saturday night at Posh. If…read moreyou are reading this review right now, thinking about whether it would be a good idea to try it for the first time, I strongly encourage you to get on their website right now and sign up. I surprised my lady friend by leaving the sports bar we were at (and not finishing the football games we were watching... painful, but it was worth it) and walking one block over to Posh for a night of drinking and painting. She LOVED it, and we both had a blast drinking wine and attempting to paint the Telluride Valley. We got there a bit early and were the first ones in, we picked our seats and then the owner, Chelsey, got us our paint and offered us a drink. The beer and wine by the glass is only $3.25 which is great, or you can buy a bottle of wine for $13, we opted for the bottle. People started trickling in and the actual instruction started a little bit later than the posted time. Chelsey is great, she makes it easy to follow along, she plays music and dances around her studio while she's waiting for the students to catch up to her and she will help you achieve your vision of how your painting should look. The way it works is she goes step by step, explains how to do each step as simply as possible and then gives you time to complete that step. The outcome is that everyone is having a great time, each person has a similar but very unique painting and at the end of all of it you have an awesome, out of the ordinary night out on the town and a nice canvass painting to bring home. You have to go check this place out!

3 1/2 stars. For our first visit at PoshSplat, my daughter…read moreand I went for "independent studio time" since they did not have any public class during the day on a Friday. We've been to other studios to paint following an instructor, and it was always a lot of fun. This place has a great selection of paintings you can choose from, and then you just copy the one you select, or just do your own. The lady who was in charge of the place that day was friendly, but both my daughter and I very quickly understood that it was better not to change the water where you clean your brushes, or ask for another paper plate (that you use as a palette.) When my daughter asked where she could change her muddy water, she was told that she really did not need to, as the paint should get to the bottom of the pot and the brush would get clean if it stays on the surface. We looked at each other, quite surprised. After a while, I really needed to get some clean water and was told that the lady would do it for me as there is no available sink for the clients. Looking at the paint stains in the bathroom, I doubt this advice is followed by most, but I understand that they want to protect their plumbing and the environment. So after that, since we did not want to bother her, we just painted with brown water (and my daughter never changed hers.) I wonder what happens when an entire class (about 20 people) is asking at some point for fresh water.... I never had that issue at other places, and this was a big surprise and disappointment (that and the fact that you are uncomfortable asking for another paper plate.) I get that they don't want to waste, but you have to keep it reasonable. In the end, we've decided that when we want to paint again, we'll go back to Whimsy in Westminster, where they have a sink in the studio for the clients to use freely, where they give you whatever you need to paint comfortably, and where parking if free and easy. If you want to stay in Boulder though, it's always fun to do one of these session. Drink an extra glass of wine and you won't even bother about rinsing your brushes. Now that's a thought, maybe I should try that next time!
