We had so much fun here! They really keep the crowd engaged and I love that people can get on stage to dance and have fun with their song requests.

If you want to have a good time and cheap drinks then Savannah Smiles is the place to be! I didn't expect the place to be as big as it was but it was quite roomy and packed since it was a Friday night. They were playing live music on the pianos and obviously dueling against each other, but the energy in the room was fun/entertaining. They played a good mix of oldies and current music, the musicians are truly talented. There was a lot of bachelor/bachelorette parties going on that night too so there were a lot of groups taking up space but since the music was great everyone was having a good time. We ordered a few drinks, shots, and food while we were there. The drinks were good and marked at a great price, the shots were delicious, but the food was ok. I wasn't expecting grade A food from a bar but next time I would just skip the food altogether and stick to only drinks. If you love to sing along to classic songs, scream sing, and have a few drinks then Smiles is the place to go. This is a spot I will make sure to stop by anytime I'm in Sava

One of the best dueling piano bars I have ever been to! Even though it was a PACKED house, the servers were attentive and ensured you always had a drink. The security is ON IT as well which helped made the experience even better as we didn't have to worry about anything. Will definitely be back!

Great bar for live music. Piano players (esp the woman one) are smart as a whip. Cover was $10 a person. Drinks were good, I'd recommend starting a tab it makes it easier. Jell-O shots were good. Bathroom lines were LONG. Tables and seats are all first come except for the two places at the far sides, those are reserved for Private parties.

We had SO much fun at this bar. Singing and dancing the night away. The waitresses and bartenders were great and so nice. We could spend all night here. The music was bumpinngggg. We loved it. Highly recommend for a fun night out

fun atmosphere where you will know every song. drinks are reasonably priced and they provide a walk up bar or table service.

We weren't allowed to come in. I'm American with my DL and my gf is a student at SCAD from Ivory Coast. We both had identification proving we were above 21. My gf only had her license from Ivory Coast on her. After being rejected. One employee said "look it's a half moon " Nobody says some dumb shit like that unless they see a biracial couple. Fuck this establishment. I was happy af to drop $700 at Eclectic Moon

We were skeptical about a jazz dinner but from moment one entering the space we knew we were in for a treat. It is a very small and intimate space and our group of 6 got a table right by the stage. Our server was amazing and the menu was epic - everyone ordered something different and so I can't highlight one thing or the other because everyone loved it all. Don't skip out on the after dinner drinks and coffees as well! The performers we had really read the room and picked up on the energy and went through a mix of classics as well as modern like Adele. Everyone was having a great time and even singing along when encouraged. It was a great evening! Tip: Do the earlier show and get there early so you can enjoy your meal in time for dessert and cocktails and coffee once the show starts!!

We came for the early show/dinner and saw Deas Guyz on a Sunday, the music was incredible. I highly recommend seeing them if you can (they play The Jazz Corner every Sunday per the website). Our server was also helpful and great. Shows sell out, so make sure you grab tickets in advance on their website. For dinner, I had the Filet Mignon with Lobster Tail. The steak and lobster were a bit overcooked for my taste, but still tasty. The meal came with mashed potatoes and green beans, both cooked and seasoned perfectly. My mom had the halibut special, and the fish was definitely overcooked as well. For drinks, I had the TJC Hurricane with dinner and the Hershey's Kiss after. Both were probably the best drinks I've had in Hilton Head, strong and delicious. If you like something sweet and chocolatey, the Hershey's Kiss is a must, honestly better than dessert! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Hilton Head.

We came for the music, and it absolutely delivered but so did everything else. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed and encouraged to slow down, relax, and truly enjoy the experience. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was exceptional, and the entire evening felt special. I ordered the Duke Ellington ribeye, and without exaggeration, it was the best ribeye I have ever eaten. As ridiculous as it may sound, time seemed to stop for a moment. Every bite was packed with flavor that hit something deep inside me and took me back to simpler times. It was one of those rare meals that becomes a memory. The experience was so good it almost brought a tear to my eye. Not because it was fancy or expensive, but because the level of care, craftsmanship, and excellence put into that meal was something truly special. My wife ordered the pasta primavera and she described it as simple, light, but packed with flavor. We stayed for hours vibing to the incredible musicianship displayed. The warmth of the staff felt like family. Wish we were local so we could make this a regular date night spot. Thank you for an unforgettable evening. We'll be talking about it for a long time.

They offer complimentary valet parking, so there is no need for us to search for on-street parking in downtown Charleston. We walked over to the Thoroughbred Lounge and were greeted by the hostess, who led us to our table. We absolutely loved the interior design, which is vintage and elegant. The staff was so kind and personable, and they knew right away that we were celebrating a special occasion. Our server walked us through the menu in a way that was digestible and easy to follow. There were even different vials of tea leaves to smell and browse through before deciding. Since there were two of us, we were able to order two different flavors, and we chose the Earl Grey and the Coconut. Our personal favorite was the Coconut. We really wanted the Earl Grey to be our favorite, since the aroma of the tea leaves was wonderful, but the tea itself came out bitter and required sugar and cream to enjoy. I will note that we made the mistake of swirling the Earl Gray teapot so that may have contributed to how it turned out. And then came the tower of savories, pastries, and decadent desserts, and we were completely blown away. Everything was perfect, the taste and texture. It was such a thoughtful touch that they included a "Congratulations" chocolate bar at the top to commemorate the occasion. To top it all off, the staff offered to take photos of us in the middle of the Charleston Place with the stunning floral arrangements and chandeliers in the background, and the pictures came out beautifully. I am so glad we finally came, and I truly hope Thoroughbred Lounge never changes or closes. It is such a wonderful concept, and there is simply no other place that delivers this level of service and British-style food.

The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.
