I haven't been to a Piano Bar in years. I was blown away with how much fun we had on a Saturday night. We reserved a table and arrived slightly before 8pm. This allowed us to order drinks and food (typical bar food - but you don't come here for the food). Arriving a little early also allowed us to get to know our waitress for the evening, Tori which was great because she joked around with us all night and made sure we never waited too long for the next round. The piano players (& Chip) were all extremely good and entertaining. They each had strengths and rotated throughout the night. The crowd was a mix of young and old; families & friends (over 21), bachelorette parties, frat or military groups, and singles closer to the bar. At times everyone was singing,lots of dancing near your tables, and certain request could get called up on stage (but leave your drink at the table). This place has the best entertainment in Savannah. The music and singers are phenomenal. Depending on how late you go seating can be a challenge. The temperature was comfortable considering the amount of people in the room. The only thing that for i recommend would be purchasing bottled or canned drinks. Both times I have been here. I have had an upset stomach the next day. As a pretty regular drinker, this is unusual. The second time I went there, I asked for higher quality alcohol to be used in my drink, but I don't feel like that's what I was given because I was sick the next day again. read more

I didn't expect the place to be as big as it was but it was quite roomy and packed since it was a Friday night. They were playing live music on the pianos and obviously dueling against each other, but the energy in the room was fun/entertaining. They played a good mix of oldies and current music, the musicians are truly talented. There was a lot of bachelor/bachelorette parties going on that night too so there were a lot of groups taking up space but since the music was great everyone was having a good time. We ordered a few drinks, shots, and food while we were there. The drinks were good and marked at a great price, the shots were delicious, but the food was ok. I wasn't expecting grade A food from a bar but next time I would just skip the food altogether and stick to only drinks. This place puts on a show like no other. Get there early as we arrived a hour before the show and 90% of the place was already packed, We did have reservations and were quickly to our seats We will definitely stop in here again but new without making reservations to guarantee our setting. Gets gun and rowdy and they take request with a $20+ tip. There is a $10 per person cover charge. The vide, the atmosphere and the music was fantastic and so much fun to listen to. They offer both nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages. They offer server drafts Miller light Stella, and Yuengling as well. They have an extensive Bourbon Menu as well as many Tequila options. The servers were super nice and very attentive for how busy the place was. the Food is limited. The Jumbo Pretzels are serve with a house cheese that is a must try. If you have a sweet tooth you have to trey the Brownie and S'mores bites. All in all a good experience. Highly recommend this place. read more

Specifically just to have some drinks and a good time. Well, mission accomplished! Place is huge but packs out. Most people there appeared to get their drink on pretty hard. If you are visiting Savannah people may recommend this place. What a waste of money. Very tough to get a drink as the bartender seemed more interested in chatting with friends than serving customers. The musicians were rotated pretty frequently which kept is fresh and they even took time to go learn one of our requests in the back (oh we paid for that privilege, but it was so worth it). Don't go here for the food. Visit, because it's fun. My husband and I had an enjoyable evening here. The drinks are generously poured, and there was a great selection of bourbons. From what I have heard this place fills up pretty quick so you do have to get there no later than 7:30 if you want a table. We had the BEST time at Savannah Smiles last weekend! It is just a great vibe and a bargain. Cover and drinks are super reasonable. The entertainers were phenomenal, especially our girl Hannah. She is so incredibly talented and we all left with a girl crush on her. She has some serious pipes. Who would have thought Defying Gravity in a piano bar would be that amazing but we happily paid $50 to hear it the second night we went. Yep, two nights in row for us. I can't believe that I've been here in Savannah for so long and I've never found this gem until now! We were at a stuffy overcrowded party and looking for some where to go that a large group could attend and have a blast. This place fit the bill!!!! There is a cover charge ($10 on a Friday) but it's well worth it. The service was excellent. Our waitress kept us happy. There is a great selection of beers and drinks. There is a shooter girl that goes around. Most at my table tried the syringe Jell-O shots or the test tube shooter. The crowd sings along with the live piano music from two pianos. The talent is impressive that they know so many songs. They are not so good at reading the room and their audience. It gets crowded, but eventually you may find a table for your group. They had fun drinks. Bring cash, especially if you want to request songs.
