Not a discredit to the estheticians or the establishment but like any operating business there are routine things that need to be maintained, one being the electricity. Unfortunately there was an issue with the spa's Exit sign which required some technical work during my service causing the lights to go off delaying my appointment time. Sheetal (the spa owner) and Sandra were highly cognizant that I needed to get going by a certain time. They so graciously threw in a complimentary Paraffin treatment and wonderful foot massage to make up for the inconvenience and even with the extra service on top of the already amazing package I had purchased I was still out the door at the time I needed to be. A wonderful place to go and escape for a couple hours, even the extractions weren't too bad ;) Extremely thorough facial with superb evaluation of my skin's condition. My scalp felt squeaky clean after the double shampoo and scalp detox, which is something I didn't even know I needed until now. The Zen Deluxe package is incredibly comprehensive. You're getting a scalp analysis, eye treatment with a warm crystal eye mask, gentle face exfoliation, a mini facial massage with hydrating mask, therapeutic scalp massage, neck and shoulder muscle relaxation, cold water circulation therapy, a microcurrent facial treatment, and more. It reads like a menu of everything your body didn't know it was craving. One small note for my fellow curly girlies: the included basic blow dry isn't tailored for curly textures (it's not a true blowout). When you walk in you're greeted with a warm smile and welcomed into a bright, inviting space that immediately puts you at ease. My massage therapist, Jose, was exceptional. After shoulder surgery and completing physical therapy, I still had lingering discomfort. Jose quickly identified the areas needing attention. I began with deep tissue massages twice a week, gradually moving to weekly sessions as my pain subsided. The pain is gone but I am continuing with monthly deep tissuemassages for overall wellbeing. Of note: I appreciated Jose taking time following each massage to pinpoint areas of treatment on an anatomical chart and answering all of my questions. In the welcoming area after the massage I was offered cold water or hot tea. My favorite was hibiscus tea with honey served in a dainty cup and saucer--a little zen time before stepping out into the 'real' world! Morning Dew is a stellar experience from start to finish. Enter the grocery store and head straight to the back left past the food court! You'll see their sign and enter through a door. Roohi is a sweet, older, experienced cosmetologist who specialised in eyebrow threading that I would drive over 2 hours to make sure she was the only one who touched my brows! She took on an assistant and eventually sold her salon to her assistant, and this new owner is equally as talented and thorough in giving me exactly what I want. I absolutely adore coming here! There's a reason I recommend her to all my friends- who love her too. She's great! Love how I look, and $6 eyebrow threading price point is great too!! Tons of people come for facials and other services, I can't speak to that as I've never tried these services. My recommendation is to come here when you have some time- not the greatest place to go when you're in a rush. She doesn't do a rushed job at all, and there's usually a line of people waiting. You might be able to make an appointment if you call ahead. She is just one person offering all these services, but I did see she's taking on an assistant of her own so that might help with servicing more people quickly. Open Monday to Sunday 11:00 AM to 8:00PM, but closed every Tuesday.
