That closed down and in its place after a lot of revocation is Fancy Fruit...and it's a winner. It's clean, clean, clean. Has a huge variety of fruits and veggies surpassing any need to go to that other chain of produce stores. Tons of Latin, Asian, European, Middle East products all arranged orderly with the best presentation . Meats all look good and very competitively priced. I felt that the customer service and overall atmosphere of the store was well worth it. In the last year, however, the customer service has declined so much so that today I almost freaked out on an employee (almost, I didn't tho) I remember the day when you asked an employee to help you find something they would walk you over and actually help you find it. I guess those days are gone and the prices are so ridiculous now I will never ever ever shop there again.

There have been times when I get sale items like Neterines for .99 PER LBS or Pears ( on sale only) and they would rot fast. I say to myself for the price what can I expect. As far as the meat I ususally go for the chopped meat on Tuesday for $4.49 I have never had a problem with it but at the same time I wonder am I getting a quality product due to the price? Salmon they usually have a good price on it. Again I've never had a problem with it but since I buy the Atlantic Salmon I like to know where it comes from. When I ask usually the clerk behind the desk doesn't know, then he will go to the back and find out and tell me Canada. ( which is better than chilli) but there is no infomation on the packaging or anything. I've decided to keep safe i will buy Bluehouse which is Salmon grown in man made tanks in Florida from another supplier. The deli Deparment is really good. They have better tasting and better valued deli than most major supermarkets in the area. Overall I really like Perrines. So far the food is real good and you have good values. I'd give it 5 stars if I can find out more info on what I am buying. with Fish and meat, and sale items on produce lasted longer.

This particular location is in Port Orange on a major road. You don't see a lot of the tourists like you would in nearby Daytona Beach and customer service is pretty good. The store is laid out pretty well and I found quite a few good deals in the meat department. Just a suggestion, stick with the USDA Chouce Graded meat as opposed to the simply USDA inspected meat. In this instance, the old saying that you get what you pay for is very true. Plus, Winn-Dixie has some good deals every week including these Choice cuts of beef. Also, they regularly have cold cuts on sales, including the brand Dietz & Watson. All in all, this was a positive experience.

I just went and ordered my eyeglasses from that store and was very pleased that they had a great selection of very nice glasses. Not only that but my insurance covered s lot of the cost. We have seen numerous customers get turned away even though they arrived on time based on the stated times. The employees LAUGHED at the frustration of these loyal customers. We are VERY disappointed and hope this changes soon. When a deli is open, all food should be available there during the stated times.
