I have been to this Daytona Beach store 2 times and have spent over $300 so far. 1. The NY and Rib eye steaks are delicious; however most pieces have a substantial amount of fat which should be trimmed off before packaging. 2. I purchased a grass / grass filet mignon at $47 LB. After thawing I discovered it was 2 pieces, not one solid piece. Between the 2 pieces was a LARGE piece of fat. Whomever vacuum packed this item did this intentionally because it was obvious. Very disappointing because we wanted one thick piece for the BBQ. I will NOT be purchasing this item again because I typically purchase this item at Whole Foods and have never had this issue. 3. Chicken, all types. very top quality and delicious. 4. You need to be selective on their vegetables and fruit. Some items were dented and wilted. These unsellable items should be removed. 5. I will return in the future but will be highly selective on which items I will be purchasing especially because prices are on the upper end. read more

In a heart beat, I shop at the store on Oak Street as needed. This time I was at the Port Orange Farmers Market a couple of weekends ago. For $99. I filled my freezer with red meats, chicken, pork loin and my favorite bacon. If you love bacon then you have to give this a try. Yes, the cost is a smidge more but once you have eaten their variety of meats you won't be shopping anywhere else. Be wise and shop the sales. Honestly I have never had a meal that I didn't enjoy or wasn't proud to share with friends and family. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable of all of the products...and will give you ideas on how to serve it up. read more

They have horrible customer service. Don't order a sub, if you tell them what you want on it they will yell at you like your stupid.

My 1st time the other day. Purchased 2 NY strips, 2 short ribs packs and 1 pack of chicken cutlets. The NY strips had a lot of fat but were very good on the barbecue. The chicken cutlets were good in the oven and juicy. The short ribs were 70% fat and very little meat at all on the bone. I was very disappointed in them but I may give them another try. I thought meat stores were like the old butcher stores that always had quality cuts of meat. Trying to get away from Costco and meat that has hormones but it's not easy. read more

The quality of the beef, chicken, pork and seafood is amazing! The items are so delicious. We discovered this family run business while looking for better quality beef. They have their own farm in NC and their customer service is excellent. They offer beef, pork, seafood, turkey, chicken, eggs, cheese, breads and pastries. Their location is welcoming, clean and comfortable. It's also located in a convenient area of Port Orange. We enjoyed the beef so much that we purchased a half a cow which makes the meat more affordable and you get a variety of cuts. They sell a quarter cow also and in different times of year they sell packages of cuts. We are so happy that we found this store and the family that runs it. They run specials and if you sign up for texts they will keep you updated on items that are in stock or just came in and any specials they have for the week. So glad to have them here in Port Orange. I refer them constantly. I am hooked on the breakfast sausage-- patty, or I make sausage & biscuits -very tasty. My usual is buying sausage , couple dozen eggs, raw cream, beef tallow which replaced Avacado oil, the cod & shrimp, & the jar of pickled beets. I have tried other items, but these are my usual favorites. Beef is good -- I think that we're lucky to have a place to buy fresh farm food rather than the chemical treated & now fake products we are buying at the Walmarts etc. I appreciate the service given by each employee & the cleanliness of the store--I can't buy food from a place that doesn't care about fresh food & clean. I rarely eat meat or chicken out of concern for quality. Stopping by Winola farms and learning about the farm near Scranton, PA was a game changer. So far, I've only tried their chicken and eggs. Delicious! There is definitely a difference in Winola Farms taste and quality. No hormones or antibiotics and very reasonably priced. read more

Step up the meat game both by taste and better for you. We came to check this place out wanting to get away from all the harmful unneeded ingredients the chain stores have. Lots of different meat selections from hamburger, steak, pork, summer sausage, seafood and more. They also have raw milk for your livestock and different cheeses. All of this is a bit pricier than the box stores but eating healthier, being and feeling healthier is worth it and doable. Let alone the meds not needed any longer should save us a bit. This is a gem right off Oak Street in Port Orange! Fabulous family run small businesses offering the highest quality of meats probably in the area! They also offer baked goods and other locally sourced items. The meats are frozen as they all come from a small farm in Pennsylvania. They are butchered, packaged and frozen and shipped right down to the store. I have not been disappointed one bit! read more
