This Publix is in a great spot for me. Sometimes when I drive from north florida into Orlando, it's hard to find a clean place to stop for snacks and to use the restroom before getting on i-4. I was happy with the selection and glad to see that they offer a full hot bar at this location which was an amazing treat! I of course grabbed some publix chicken tenders and chips for the road. The people at the hot bar counter were swift and helpful when packing my items. I marked this on my google maps so I can stop in again. read more

I wanna preface this review by saying that I am not a Florida native. I came here from Chicago and my daughter worked at the most popular grocery store in Chicago. Coming to Florida and shopping at a completely different grocery store was very difficult for me. However, it was not difficult for long as Publix is my absolute favorite place in the world. Every single employee at Publix is amazing. They are kind. They are helpful, they are friendly. I love that.. Publix is extremely clean, which makes me happy. They have a lot of variety. Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is also great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. Horrible customer service. Tall lady with short red hair that is usually in the customer service area is so rude, always. After paying for mangos I asked the cashier to please give me my change in two five dollar bills. He told me I needed to go to customer service for that and refused to provide me with the change I requested. Apparently cigarettes are more important because most of the cashiers will stop to get the client that is requesting the cigarettes a pack. Their prices are also higher than other Publix located across the river. Placed an order and asked to have it ready by five for pick up. I arrived at six and they could not find my order. The lady at the Deli was so rude too. Things have changed at the Bellaire Plaza Publix. I have been a customer for over 20 year. Only the pharmacists and the people that bag your items are nice. Lady making the subs tonight was super rude, had a flat personality and no customer service skills. Out of basic condiments for a sandwich including mayonnaise. I mean we are at a grocery story, how hard is it to get a jar of mayonnaise? I even offered to grab some myself and cut the onions. Customer service could care less, avoid this Publix. read more

Wow- big and new. This is the newest Publix in the area. Massive place with a second floor seating area so you can even buy prepared foods and eat it at Publix. I am not sure I would do that but it will be a great place for family members to rest when shopping. They have a nice deli with plenty of prepared foods as well as the large selection that Publix has. read more

Quite frankly, this is one of the best Publix stores in the land. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, selection is always on point especially around occasions such as the Super Bowl and July 4th. Some food items are really good here. Sushi rolls are excellent, especially the ones with crunchy onions on top. They had Nashville hot chicken one time and that was really good. They have both yellow and white Mac and Cheese. I like both of them, but prefer the yellow because the white is a bit too smokey for me. Self-checkout is super helpful and the only way to go. read more

I ordered a medium fruit tray $29.99 for Super owl Sunday. It looked great but melon chunks, strawberries and pineapple were not ripe and nobody at my party ate the fruit. This review is in reference to the pharmacy located at the Publix grocery store at Latitude Landing in Daytona Beach. Most of the staff is very helpful and courteous and I have no issue with them. One individual however has been consistently rude to my wife each time she picks up her prescriptions. It is unknown as to why this is the case but my wife has discussed the matter with the pharmacy manager, not to get the person in trouble but to give the manager an opportunity to address the issue with the employee. During this particular incident my wife was told by another employee that she needed to come back the next day and see if the pharmacist would be willing to fill her prescription. Not understanding this my wife asked for an explanation as to why. The employee in question interjected and told my wife, "you just need to come back tomorrow". My wife asked why she is always so rude. This person just said, "That's your opinion" and walked away. The next day my wife went in as instructed to speak with the pharmacist. This employee was working the counter and told my wife she needed to speak with someone else and walked away. When the pharmacist approached, my wife asked if she could speak with her in private. The pharmacist said, "I heard about what happened yesterday and it's sounds to me like you were pretty racist and I won't be filling this prescription". We were not only taken aback by this baseless accusation but enraged that she said this in front of other customers and staff. At no time was anything said nor done that would be considered racist. Clearly this employee had lied to her manager about the incident and the pharmacist had decided that labelling my wife a racist was the appropriate way to handle the situation. Needless to say we will no longer be using this pharmacy nor this grocery store. We have voiced our concerns with the store manager and written a formal complaint to the Publix corporate headquarters. The actions of the employee and the pharmacist are highly unprofessional and reflect poorly on Publix's customer service. read more

Two stars for the building and physical store being bright, brand new and beautiful. Wish I could say the same for the cashier and bagging person who checked us out during our last visit. The cashier was rude and argumentative. The bagger was stuck up, unintetested and did not offer to help with our bags upon leaving. Both seemed to hate their jobs and acted like they would rather be doing anything other than bagging our groceries and taking our money. It's a shame because most Publix stores are a delight to shop at. But not this one. I'll be visiting the Beville store from now on. They are much better to their customers. read more

It's Publix, what else can I say? More expensive on every single item? Yes. Does that additional expense show in cleanliness of their store and the attitude/attentiveness of their employees? Absolutely and nearly without fail. No, I don't work for them. No, I'm not affliliated or paid in any way for this review. What I am, is sick of a w@|_M@*\+ world but am very pleased that, for a few extra bucks, I can shop somewhere where I feel like the floors are mopped and even the grocery store brand products are actually decent. We won't even waste the time on the state of anything fresh that actually required some level of care by the employees, you've shopped at those other guys, Their products have literally made me sick on more than one occasion. Store gets 6 stars!!! Pharmacy stinks! The pharmacist has a bad attitude every time she is 'bothered' by a customer. Telecom sent in prescription 2.5 hours ago and I come in to pick up. Told nastily that they are busy with the 'hundreds of orders' like me being sick in their store is a fun visit. Then while waiting I'm told how busy they are with the COVID vaccine and it's a priority. Really??? Doctors office or pharmacy??? Pick a damn lane!! I'm going to find a new pharmacy - liked because it was convenient but why keep giving them money and be treated rude by the person I trust to get my meds right?!?! I can go to Walgreens for that!
