They were GREAT....check-in clerk was very nice, diagnosis was quick, they did not have my tire size; But installed my "donut" and checked my tire pressure and sent me on my way. Winchester is full of gems, and this so happens to be one of them. I found it on Facebook and Mom and I headed over on a Saturday morning. I wish I hadn't went grocery shopping the night before because a lot of the items that I bought at the grocery were available here too. I guess that's the bad thing about coming to a Farmers Market on a spur of the moment. Note to self, make sure that I don't go grocery shopping before coming here. Items like cucumbers, green peppers, tomatoes, etc were all items that I spotted and would've snagged. Instead, I walked away with a few tomato plants. Yes, I know you're surprised... I'm growing tomatoes. The locals were socializing and I could totally sense that a lot people come here as a social thing in addition to scoring local homegrown goods.

The prices are affordable but if you check the ounces of the food you will see that the contents have been reduced to get a lower price. So I am not sure if you are saving much. If you are single then the sizes are just right but if you are looking for family sizes then perhaps you should shop elsewhere. The best part is that the Stores are all located close to the people in residential areas. This means you can walk and not have to drive all over town to purchase something quickly. I once read that the average American spends $8,500 a year on their car, car insurance, car maintenance etc. So if you can walk to the Dollar Store and avoid a car then you're saving a bunch. With the closing of the IGA on mainstreet then the Dollar Store is a good replacement. Glad we have something downtown and recommend it to all that need a quick item on the way home from work.

Hubby got a chicken burrito with extra beans, no rice. I got the chilaquiles with red sauce topped with 2 over easy eggs. All was cold. Hubby didn't care for his burrito and my chilaquiles were too spicy as well as cold. Made 2 trips in one, first and last. Also had to chase someone down to get our bill.
