There must've been a hundred cars or more attempting to move in & out on Monday, April 6, 2026. The biggest problem are customers making left turns, all of which should be eliminated. At the traffic light intersection on Enchanted Park Hwy. cars making left turns towards the gas pumps cause a horrendous back-up as there's less than 100' or so from the traffic light. There should be cones/barriers & signage prohibiting left turns. Additionally, vehicles exiting the gas pumps should be prohibited from making left turns there as it creates a hazardous condition. As cars exit the main parking lot, while heading north, drivers attempt to make left hand turns to enter the traffic lane of vehicles already in line, causing additional headaches and frustration. Barriers/cones/curbing & signage should be installed to prevent left turns there. Many customers have already figured out it's safer & creates less congestion to take the lane of traffic off Enchanted Lake Hwy. (adjacent to Olive Garden Restaurant) which offers right hand turns into the lane proceeding to the gas pumps. Left hand turns are the bane of traffic flow. I'm not an engineer, but having retired from Law Enforcement after 30-years. My knowledge & experiences with traffic control would help the shopping experience at COSTCO Federal Way.

There is a whole freezer section in the back where you can walk through and pick out your cold items such as cheese, eggs, meat, milk, yogurt, etc. They also have bigger aisles for drinks, snacks and instant food items than regular Costco Wholesale places. Customer service is always great at this location as well. Never had bad shopping experiences since we have been going. From time to time, this location is great to buy stuff at, minus the electronics and clothes since they do not have what regular Costco locations include.

We were told by staff that: - if the machine already had gas, we could test-start it outside, - if it had NO gas, we had 24 hours to bring it back for a refund if it didn't work. We confirmed this several times with different employees before purchasing. We took the trimmer home, bought gas, and discovered it did not work at all. When we returned the next day, within the 24-hour window we were told about, a different employee immediately gave attitude and claimed they "don't do returns on gas engines." After explaining what we were told the day before, they switched from "no return" to "store credit only," even though nobody mentioned store credit during the purchase. The employee then highlighted the receipt policy AFTER the fact, despite the fact that we relied on what their staff verbally told us BEFORE purchase. We ended up being forced into another trimmer and had to pay extra money on top of it. To top it off, after the second transaction, the employee told me: "I don't want to see you again." Likewise. I understand pawn shops sell items as-is. That's not the issue. The issue is employees giving customers one set of terms before purchase, then changing the story afterward and treating customers poorly for expecting them to honor what they said. Be careful buying gas equipment here unless you're fully prepared to eat the loss.
