Love this super market! Specially the meet department and the BBQ Grill department. Is very big so you have to walk around. At the beginning it could be very overwhelming but give your self some time to learn your store. HOT DINNER FOOD. It is definitely a clean and beautiful store. My husband LOVES the fresh hot wings. We got 20 for $14. Their hot food bar is good, but can get pricey. I thoroughly enjoy the tiki marsala soup (good deal). DO NOT GET THE JO-JOs!! They have a VERY SHORT "taste-good" life. And by that I mean approx 15 min and they become a texture/taste nightmare. The staff are friendly- not always super fast (I think many are young/new) but kind, helpful, and willing. I went to buy groceries and had two avocados for $1.50 each. At the register there was a big sign that said that avocados are .77 cents and there was a big basket with avocados in it. The cashier then proceeded to charge me $1.50 each. I told her that the sign next to her register said .77 cents and she said the sale was over. I asked her to please honor it since the sign was up literally five feet from the register. She said no and that the sign wasn't coming down either because the add for other things on sale didn't expire until four more days. I explained that it is extremely misleading to leave expired signs up on purpose. Makes no sense. We live in a time we're every penny counts for the working class. Luckily I can afford the overpriced avocados. The woman behind me left the avocados behind and was upset as well. It's not about the money. It's the principle and horrible customer service. I went to shop at the manteca Yosemite store on Friday the 26th of march 2021. Customers were walking in without masks and the store employees told me that they couldn't do anything about it. Well that shows me that Save Mart doesn't care about anyone's safety! I use to spend thousands of dollars per year at this store but now I'm going to be shopping somewhere else. I'm giving the store 3 stars because it's a 5 on potential and a 1 on execution. It has amazing features, but just isn't being well managed yet. I understand they are new and probably busier than normal so I'm trying to not be too harsh. One area that really needs help is the beer and food area. Even when they aren't busy, the service is painfully slow. I've been there twice and both times, the servers did not know what their own product was or even how to pour a beer correctly. I don't know many people who want three inches of foam at the top of their glass! My wife asked for a glass of Robert Mondovi Cab and was asked if that was a white or red. Really? Cab a white or red? Perhaps get someone in there who has experience running something like this or at least a little training for the current employees. read more

The store is beautiful and has many different options like a fruit bar, salsa bar, restaurant, etc. Just had a really great shopping experience as well. Every employee I encountered was helpful and kind. This review is for the meat department. My name is Kris. I'm a bodybuilder and eat A LOT of protein. Every Saturday I call in my order. The meat department not only gets my order handled, but prepped and ready for me in before the pick up time. To give you and idea of what a lot is. My last order was 5 lbs steak, 5 lbs talapia, 10 lbs chicken breast, 5 orders asparagus, 3 lbs salmon. When I showed up the order was prepped, seasoned, boxed and bagged. Where I would likely be rolling my eyes every time I call in, the guys in the back are enthusiastic over the phone and smiling every time I meet them for pickup. I wont be coming here anymore. I come here to get my steaks grilled sometimes which is a great service. Been here multiple times getting my steaks marked rare so I can stick them in the oven and finish when I get home. Today I asked for the steak seasoning on a 30 dollar ribeye. Guy said he's too busy. Half his grill was empty then he proceeds to tell me it's against the law for me to get a rare steak Little does he know I've been a corporate Executive Chef for 20 years in high end hotel resort settings. Cooked all over the world. The excuses to not cook me a steak coming out of this man's mouth blew my mind. I just said never mind and left. This was the exact same guy that cooked me a steak before and said he catered on the side. Unbelievable! It was a nice service because I can't have a grill at my apartment. Excellent grocery store . Immaculately clean & organized. Wide Isles that are well lit. They have just about everything you could possibly need. Including vegan vegetarian and organic. So I go to this new Savart on Oakdale and they tell me that I cannot bring my own bags in for sanitary reasons. They will give me free bags this time, but next time I have to buy them. OK. I go back to shop the next week, knowing that I will have to pay for my bags to keep everything nice and sanitary. I get into the store and start shopping for about 5 minutes, only to turn around and see two women walking behind me with two dogs on leashes. No, they were not guide dogs. Just two yipping, barking Pomeranians. How are they more sanitary than my shopping bags?! God, it's getting so hard to find stores or people that make sense anymore. My family & I went here when it first opened all the workers were friendly even with so many people there. We decided to go in last night to grab something for dinner. We processed to the sandwich counter. we stood there for over 5 mins with no one saying anything to us. There were over 6 workers just standing there talking. One the workers went to walk by i said excuse me we would.like to order some sandwiches ok i guess i can do it she says. She asked how many i stated 4 oh ok so she goes to make my sandwich puts it on the counter says thank you and starts to walk off excuse me i needed 3 more oh she says. My daughter would like the California club with the bacon can you please make it extra crispy she says no problem. Then 2 coworkers come over as the girl is making the second sandwich any more they ask i state yes 2 more i tell them what they are all three works are asking me queation all at the same time as my daughter is trying to talk to me. I ask the workers can you all please not ask me questions at the same time i am only 1 peraon & its a little.over whelming. You would of thought i ripped their heads off. Meaning while the girl making the second sandwich went to put bacon on my daughters i said oh please can you cook that becon like i asked the other coworker said no you put it on the sandwich like that its precooked. Excuse me i would like it cooked better it looks raw no she stated we can not. I stated why is it when i came in here before it wasnt a problem they did it. She stated we are not them you either take it that way or dont. Ok now i got mad. I said just wrap the bacon on the side i will cook it at home. Their customer service there just is plain cappy. Store is a really nice store. Guess they want to be like a Whole Foods market. (Not possible with the customer service there) should get a little more training in that department. We tried out 'The Tipping Point'....ordered tacos, tri-tip salad, wine, and a beer. My tacos were cold, my boyfriend was expecting a tall glass of beer, but we were not told that in order to get a nice tall glass of cold brew, you had to order 8% or lower. Again....not told that. Also the wine menu is behind the sign on the counter where you order. Which I did not know that until the cashier turned over the sign. How would anyone know that? We're not mind readers. Really should have a little more instruction, guidance, of what's going on? The food really was not that great... Like I said, my tacos were cold. All the staffs in the Deli/sandwich counter are racist and rude. Had to wait 30 mins for fried chicken to be fried because they were out of chicken breasts to make a 8pcs special. Samples were given out to other customers while they waited to have their food prepared/boxed/bagged and not to me. I stood there and waited for my chicken breasts to be ready. When the chicken were finally ready I was given 6 pcs of the old and lukewarm chicken and 2 pcs of chicken breasts I waited 30 mins for. I asked the staff for fresh chicken instead of the old ones and she insisted that they just came out of the fryer while I watched her bagged the old chickens for me. She refused to give me the fresh chicken pcs. Didn't wanted to make a scene and also my 3 yrs old and husband had been waiting for me patiently in the car while I waited for the fried chicken. Ended up throwing the old chickens pcs out when we got home because they were dried and my daughter barely ate her chicken breast. She was looking forward to having fried chicken for dinner and was odd that she barely touched it. Could and should have when to KFC or Popeye instead. read more

For such a new location with a lot of hype, I've had too many issues at this store. Almost every time I go shopping around 8:30/9am, I'm dodging workers pushing huge stocking carts or mops. A lot of carts are even just left sitting, blocking shelves or walkways. Shouldn't a lot of this be done earlier, when there aren't as many customers walking around? Also, it's way too hard to get the attention of workers behind the specialty counters: Bakery, Deli, Fish. It's really tough trying to flag someone down before they take notice. When I purchased a cake for my daughter's birthday, I asked for them to write on it for me. (It was a $30 cake that was obviously meant to be written on) And I got the biggest attitude from the person behind the counter when I asked. It ended up looking horrible too, the writing was sloppy.) I miss going to the Standiford/Prescott location, because the employees there were always so much more friendly & helpful. We moved to this side of town though, so it's the convenient location that keeps us coming. That's it. read more

I went to this store and the tall lady in the glasses around 2pm in the deli was super rude. First off she ignored me when I went to ask her a question. I didnt realize she was helping someone else which Is fine but atleast acknowledge me when I'm talking to you. Then I found a corn salsa I was looking for but there was very little and I asked her if they made the corn salsa there and she said oh no we arent making it today just whatever is in there and she pointed to the deli food area. So I asked her if the on they had out was old bc it was in a container and then she said Idk they probably made it in the morning or something and then rolled her eyes. First off I thought that was rude... second I thought it was disgusting that these people dont know when they even put out their product or even bother to look at it and see if it was ok.
