They have some very cute boutique shops near the farmers market, and upon walking into this one with two women working the front counter... no acknowledgement of my presence. No big deal because some folx working in retail just aren't into the greeting the customers thing. But not twenty seconds after I walk in, two white women walk in and are greeted with a "Welcome ladies, is there anything we can help you with!" My stomach churned, I walked out. Not making any judgements except one about customer service, you should strive to greet all your customers if that's your thing. Especially ones willing to spend some money.

I actually worked at Not Native years ago, when it was located further down Oak street, and even then, they had some amazing stuff which almost left me broke before I even got paid.... The store seems to withhold some even more incredibly beautiful items, leaving me almost feeling broke by just taking a few steps in. It's not just about the adorable stuff they bring into the store, it's also the customer service that went above and beyond. I've lived in the area for over four years and have visited Streets of Brentwood several times to…read moreeat and catch a movie. I haven't done much shopping here, but they do have several well-known stores, including Express, Bath & Body Works, Hollister, DSW, Spencer's, and Tillys. There are also a few good dining options, such as BJ's, CreAsian, and Black Angus. In the past, I found the shopping center to be pretty dull compared to some of the other malls and shopping areas I've visited around the Bay Area. However, since it was purchased by a new owner, I've noticed some improvements and renovations that have given the area a much-needed refresh. New additions like Handel's, Vine + Grain, and the upcoming Slice House are making the center feel more lively and promising. I think Streets of Brentwood has a lot of potential and will continue to improve over the next five years. One of my favorite features is the outdoor patio area. It's a nice place to take a stroll, spend time with family, and even bring your dog. Overall, Streets of Brentwood seems to be heading in a positive direction, and I'm looking forward to seeing how much it continues to grow and improve.
