The main reason for only 2 stars is that the prices here are wayyyy too high. I looked at a lot of basic tops, and over and over, I'd see prices of $10.99 or $8.99. seriously? for used stuff that isn't even very special. I can buy new for $10.99! No thrift store should ask more than $6.99 for a basic top, and most things like that should be priced at $3.99. Or Under. I saw tops that had rips and flaws and they still had a price of $5.99 Maybe the prices here are high because it's right near Sun City Summerlin, and there's an impression that people who live in Summerlin are more affluent. So, I do think this store reflects that mindset. If you insist on shopping here, only go on the days when they have 50% off or can get the 30% senior discount. Never pay full price for the things here, it's not worth it. Be advised that as of June, you must bring your own plastic bag to carry your stuff home. The store is large and they do have a rather big selection, but the prices just kill it for me. Won't be coming back unfortunately. Just not sure how the word "Savers" reflects this place. I like this Savers location the best. While it's not the closest to my house, I feel it's the most neat and organized, with a lot of selection, and the staff is friendly. Thursdays are 50% off days if you have a Savers card (free to sign up), and you get random emails from them for special sale days. Like this past Monday was 50% off apparel. I got a warm jacket for $5! Earlier during the summer I found a pair of Frankie B shorts too! Make sure to check the knick knack wall with all the stuff in plastic baggies hanging on pegs. I also got two vintage spring scales for $5 for both, and a vintage glass doorknob for $2.50, PLUS they were another 25% off bc of the special sale that day. Sometimes they price things way too high. But if you only shop on sale days, it's not so bad. read more

I came here looking for stuff for my vintage farmhouse wedding. I'm DIYing a lot of my centerpieces and am in search of knickknacks, picture frames, vintage vases and bottles, old books and books of music sheets. I ended up finding some vases for 49cents! They weren't as intricate as some of my others, but they were perfect to break up what I have so far so I took all of those. I also got a few large vases for 99cents. Friggin awesome. I looked for other wedding stuff and didn't find anything else so I browsed briefly other things. The clothes looked to be a bit newer and wearable and some of the purses were designer so if you're looking for selection on garments, this may be the spot for you. It's well organized, it doesn't smell old and musty and the customer service is pretty friendly. I will be back for sure. read more

We like to go to this location to make donations . Their donation center has certain hours if you want to make donations, They even help you out . They will give you a coupon with discounts and you can use it inside the store if you find anything you would like to purchase . I like to browse around the store , sometimes you find good stuff. I was just on vacation in Las Vegas and had an extra hour to kill, so I went here. I bought more than I've ever bought at a thrift store! Board games, a nice little basket, a nice pillow, work-out t-shirts, a purse, and more. Savers is laid out very nicely and it's as easy to shop in here as it is in Target or any other store. The color-tag sales are fantastic, and all the prices in general are great. read more

This is my favorite savers in the Las Vegas area. We went to visit 2 other ones and found this one to have the best variety. The store was clean and didn't have the muggy smell you sometimes experience with thrift stores. We went on the 50% off day sale. They do these a few times a year and usually on holidays. If you have the club member card, you can go a few days prior and shop before the public does. Card is free, just ask one of the salesperson to sign you up. I think everything is worth it during the 50% sale. However, when it's just a normal day, you really have to dig because you can sometimes find the same deals at Ross. I find thrift stores to be fun when you have the time and everything is organized and Savers does just that. read more

I went to savers today and the manager said i had to have my mask covering my nose and mouth, okay fine, it slipped anyway...but the "disinfectant" they were using was diluted PINE SOL. Not bleach or disinfectant but pine sol. Then my kid found some toys and i wasnt going to fight him because he was behaving, but he picked up a broken transformer with no tag. I asked the cashier and she asked the same manager who wanted $6.99 for a broken transformer. Seriously! She also priced another damamged product at an outrageous price for an broken item. Been there several times and never had an issue. Management sucks and they're using pine sol to kill a virus that is killing at a high rate. Wont be going back there anytime soon. I love this place. First of all, I'm a book nut and this Savers has a very nice supply of books. I've found some treasures here, some collectible first editions even, all for such low prices. But it's not just the books. I buy clothes here, knick-knacks, all kinds of things. I picked up a really nice glass frying pan over a year ago and still use it regularly. Yes, some really nice items in my home came from this store. I moved further south and there is another Savers store closer to me now. But I still drive up to this one. It's quite a place. I love Savers... Donate a bag of stuff and receive a coupon for 20% off your total purchase! Everytime I go I donate. There is always something around here I no longer use/want/need. As far as this Savers goes, I think it is a tad overpriced, perhaps because it's a newer location and they only have newer stuff...and near desert shores,mind you. The only downside here is that I have found things priced as if they were new; Curtains, jeans, and pictures/paintings that seemed like the should have been priced lower due to being secondhand. This is one of the better Savers in the Las Vegas area. This location is quite clean and there are always people out on the floor if you need assistance. Their shoe selection is large, it's usually pretty full whenever I stop by for a visit. Like any other second hand store, you have to search through everything to find the good stuff. I've found nice jeans and button down shirts here, J. Crew and American Apparel. If you're a frequent shopper, sign up for their rewards card and use it on Thursdays. read more

I am new to the area and after reading the reviews I decided to check savers out. To my surprise the store itself was very clean compared to other thrift stores and organized well. I was happy to find a lot of items I was searching for like a fold out chair, lazy Susan, and other items. I have to say that I am excited that they have a craft section and a pretty big dog section as well. I will be coming back for more deals and to see new stock they have during a sale. read more

I have been thrifting for 9 years in Vegas ro save money on items that our family needs. I went to this savers yesterday and I was so frustrated with the pricing. They had a crock pot enameled castiron pan. Went to look at it and it was completely cracked and enameled gone on it and they wanted $50. They had another piece that was $30 and the enameled was chipped in the inside. When damage this bad they are pieces that she not safe to use. Had 1 piece of pyres and they wanted $35. I don't know what this store is thinking. These are donated items and supposed to be price decent prices for people qith not a lot of money. read more

I promise, you'll find at least one item you'll fall in love with! After breakfast at Babystacks, my friend and I thought it'd be a great idea to burn some of the hazlenut pancakes off. She brought up this new Savers location in Summerlin and were here in no time! At first, we both weren't too sure where to start so we diverged to our destinations and texted to get together by the fitting rooms to narrow down our searches. I found a beautiful frilly, yellow, cotton PacSun top (with the original price tag) with cute embroidered details by the neck line and hiking pants to name a few, while my friend got some office clothes with great fit and seam lines, and a summer dress. We had carts filled with items but as we examined our jackpots one by one and put our budget into consideration, we had plenty of pieces that didn't make it through the cashier. At five items each, any girl would (and should) have smiles reaching her ears. Come here with a friend and explore! To spice things up, set up a budget and prioritize your spending. My wife loves to frequent this place and I like to tag along to just do some "norming" with her. We usually start out in the book isle, the go past kitchen items to the back where they have furniture and toys. After that, we split to the mens clothing / women / child clothing. Sometimes you can find some nice threads for very cheap! We save a bunch by shopping here first for kid clothes before going to other department stores. The only thing is that jeans usually are priced a bit higher than desired. (Keep in mind this is all donation items). The employees are really nice and every day the usually have a "tag" sale where a certain color tag is 50% off. read more

I've been to two different Savers now. This one is pretty much like the other one. I like Savers because it's like a controlled, indoor garage sale. Prices are fantastic. I bought one of those rubbermaid dishracks that still had the original packaging and paid 2.99 (saw it that day at Walmart for 7.99). I bought a pot whose glass lid had a slight dent in the metal rim and paid about 10.00. It has to be a brand new pot because the "made in china" sticker on the bottom had no signs of heat on it and the teflon looked untouched. I hope it isn't a recall product (high lead levels or something!). I saw automatic coffee makers that looked almost new priced at $5.99. They had queen sized comforters for $13-$15 and I bought a pair of jeans for $4.99. Halloween is coming and they are full of costumes and props. Great store location with ample parking. Used to be the former Rite Aid store. The store is well organized, clean and easy to look through. Just found out some updated information with regards to sale days. Mondays are 50% off on all handbags, shoes and clothing. Thursdays are 25% off with a club card. Definitely worth going on sale days. Sometimes, I have found that their prices are close to retail price. Overall still worth it to come and browse around. Maybe... Used to love this savers until the cashier changed the prices of items I was buying. She seriously told me the 6.99 blazer I was buying was priced wrong. She checked with her coworker and stated it's actually 29.99... for a used blazer? She then told me a purse I was buying was priced wrong as well. Since when does a store not honor their own price tag. I started thinking what foes this lady think, I changed the prices? She can shove that blazer and purse up her you know what! Way too over priced for a second hand store. I came in to pick out an outfit for an event. I passed on shoes because they were over 10-20 dollars. Ridiculous. The shirt that matched my skirt the most was about to lose a button and they wouldn't even come down from the $7.50 price. Sucks! read more

I visited this store after referral from fellow students at UNLV. Store was clean, orderly, and no musty smells some preowned clothes have. I purchase a two piece suit with a Talbots label, a balero type jacket, summer dress, Henckels knife, three packs of clothes patterns all for around $50.00. My second visit I went on their 50% off day and also found more clothes patterns and material. The cashiers were friendly and quick with the checkout even though lines were longer. This Savers still has a great selection - so great that I came in every Thursday and dropped 20-75 bucks a week. That is until today. I won't be back and here's why: I found a number of cool items today - including a bracelet in one of the jewelry display cases. A super sweet staff member helped me out - let me try on the bracelet. I said I would take it and she bagged it, gave me a check number and held it for me until I was ready to cash out. At the checkstand - I handed the cashier, Dominic, my check number for the bracelet - number 30 to be exact. While he was checking me out he was talking to other staff members about how the woman before me had evidently shoplifted a ring or something odd had gone down with her. He gave me my total and I said "did you get the bracelet I have on hold? I gave you a number." He said, "what - the bracelet that woman bought?" I said "no, I have a bracelet on hold, I gave you a number. It said 30 on it". He then said - flat out - "I didn't get a number from you". (Wait - are you accusing me of lying??) I said "yes - you did. It had the number 30 on it". He then looks over on the counter behind him - finds the number - gets the bracelet and adds it to my total. No smiling, no "whoops - my mistake", no apology for accusing me of lying, no admittance at all of his mistake. Rude! I have been thrift shopping for 40 years all over the world - never have I been treated like I was some kind of memory deficient scam artist. You were my favorite Savers location. No more. You just lost a good, regular customer over a $3.99 bracelet that was half off. Try teaching them young whippersnappers some courtesy! read more

First time at this Savers location and I'm already a fan. Great big store with plenty of Summerlin giveaway goodies. The book section, which is my favorite part about treasure hunting, was solid. I found many books I've had on my wishlist here. The clothing section was solid. My friend who was looking for some maternity options, found a handful of things to wear for the rest of her pregnancy. I'll definitely go out of my way to check this Savers out again. read more

I love Savers! I come here twice a month because they always have such cute stuff. I have scored pieces from TopShop, Banana Republic, Zara, H&M, Ann Taylor, Forever 21, Express, Ann Taylor and many more. I love coming on the 50% Off Days because the deals are amazing. The store is also extremely organized compared to other thrift stores I have been too. More importantly, the shoes are actually organized by size, which I appreciate! The clothes usually range from $2.99-$7.99 but they are usually quality pieces. read more

Love this place! Found so many clothes for my daughter before she was born. Prices can be a bit higher, but the clothes look way better than what you would usually find at a Goodwill. I also love the Savers card. I bring in old clothes that my family doesn't wear anymore and I'm able to get a discount for "new" clothes bought there. I go to this Savers location at least once a month. They always have a great selection of dresses and I've found some amazing shoes here. Just last week I bought a beautiful Anthropologie dress valued at 100 dollars for only 5 bucks. And it had never even been worn! Still had the tags and everything. Big store, packed to brim with used goods. They have a pretty decent plus size women's section, where I always end up. I can usually find at least ONE thing there that I want to take home.I wish they had better shoes. All of the shoes are busted up and overpriced. In fact, I'd say most of the stuff is priced more than it's worth. They have colored tags, and on different days a different color will be on sale, but you can never find anything with that color tag of course. So be careful, more than once I've looked through the clothes and have things priced higher than when they were NEW. read more

This is my second review. I still love the store, but it is so overpriced on the clothes I can't imagine anyone these prices for used clothing. It is a very good idea if everyone would put what is wrong with an item by the price, to warn the next customer, before they buy a damage item. They asked 7.99 for a pair of pants with no zipper. I wrote no zipper by the price so the next person won't buy them without looking. Besides the clothes being overpriced, the store is pretty great. Although I used to live closer to this location than I do now, I make the 11-12 mile trip to this Savers for several reasons: they have the #2 (second to the Charleston location's staff IMO) friendliest staff, Consistently! Their merchandise is more consistent. You can pop in multiple times a week, & still find something awesome. Their pricing in much more reasonable,(I was really surprised their pricing was lower, being in Summerlin) and the store seems more organized & maintained than any of the other local Savers! read more
