I used to shop here pretty often, and I used to donate here regularly too, but not anymore. It's really disappointing to see how much the prices have gone up. Every once in a while you can still find a good deal, but it's rare. I've seen used Walmart shirts priced higher than they cost brand new at Walmart. Another frustrating change is that they no longer price donations on the spot. It takes less than a minute to price an item, but now it's "store policy" that they won't do it. There was also a time when donors could choose to give an item directly to someone who needed it, and that's no longer allowed either. It feels like the focus has shifted more toward making money than helping the community. Because of that, I won't be donating here anymore. read more

Went to Savers to see if I could find some deals. The place is huge, but the prices are fairly steep too. I suppose I didn't absolutely need anything, but I did walk out with several things I wanted like a tennis racket and some tennis balls, a pair of Adidas sneakers, Lacoste sweater, a book, and a CD rack. So I'd say if you've been needing something for your house or wardrobe, you'll probably find it here, but it won't be super cheap, so the "savers" part is a bit misleading. I usually donate stuff like clothes and odd pieces of furniture. Donating is really easy, as they have a great spot out front just to unload your donations into a card, and they give you a receipt for 20% off inside the store. Inside the store, the selection is fantastic for donations, with prices reflecting their used value. My wife found a lovely sweater there. Definatly worth your donations. read more

Wasn't looking for anything specific. Rummaged and walked through a number of clean, extremely organized aisles that didn't feel overly crowded or cluttered. Felt the prices were a little steep. However found a handful of books ($2.99 to 4.99), and all books were buy 4 get the 5th free. Overall, a nice thrift experience. I went tgere to try and by a little item for 2.99 at register 5. It told me to enter barcode. Then it said there was a problem, so I pushed button for assistance. I saw 1 cashier and by the time I got her attention another customer asked for help at register 5, MY register. Cashier told me to go behind other customer. 2 more customers showed up and wanted to look at jewelry so she decided to help them out. The one in front of me still didn't know what she was doing, so i ended up getting no help! Cashier needs to be fired! read more

Great store that sells secondhand items for cheap. Here you can find a variety of stuff, such as clothes, furniture, small kitchen appliances, toys, jewelry, etc. Lots of options. The merch is well organized and easy to navigate. There are some great finds if you take your time to look around. The only downside is that there are no fitting rooms and no returns--only exchanges on clothing and shoes. So just be sure with what you want to buy! You can pay with a cashier or through the self service machine, but the machine only accepts card. read more

Attention SAVERS, We are facing an ongoing issue with a member of management who consistently displays rude behavior. I thought she had been let go, but it appears she has returned to work after her leave. Her attitude needs significant improvement. Recently, she spoke very disrespectfully to a customer who was clearly deaf. Is this really the standard of service we want to provide to our shoppers? Let's address this situation promptly. My friend took me to this place & I absolutely love going here! There is a large selection ranging from clothing to furniture. The store is pretty clean & lots if the merchandise is organized nicely. Lots of cute finds if you take your time searching through the aisles. Lots of the clothes I found were in reasonable price around $8-10 in the women clothing section. While paying you have the option to pay through the cashier or the self service register. I went through the self-service register & it was easy to do. In which you scan your goods & pay using card. Also, If you are planning on buying stuff & paying with cash you would need to go to the cashier. I am going to recommend this location, but please know their prices are definitely in the higher range thrift-wise. They have a huge selection of pretty much everything and the drop off donation process is easy to navigate. It is pretty clear that Savers anticipates you using a coupon, so they price higher to still get the base price they want. It's disappointing, but it is what it is. With that said, the layout and store organization makes sense. I watched the employees diligently putting clothes in the appropriate sections, so that made me happy. I did shop there quite a bit for a while because they were the bigger the two thrift stores in vacaville. Their prices have always been slightly high but now they are ridiculous ! $8 for used board games , some clothes that have holes in it and other problems with them will not be lowered and they are between 13 and 20 bucks on the regular . I was told by an employee there then on Wednesdays when they change the half price color that one of the new color is they take out the clothes with that tag on it so there are very few on the racks with that half price tag. That way you'll look through all the other stuff find other things that you want beautiful price. I just went for the first time in a few months and saw the pricing and just left, they're quality in the items are not worth it. Especially when you're paying higher than what you would have paid the Dollar Tree for it. read more

My first time in Savers my first impression was that it was a large store with a big selection of everything. I'm a vintage clothing and purse hunter so was happy that they had a lot to browse. Most of their dresses I looked at were mainly modern brands. Lots of Coach bags available which was nice. Designs from older Coach I hadn't seen in years. But I must say the prices were much higher than I expected. Certainly more than Goodwill pricing. I managed to walk away with just a few items. When I return here again I plan to only purchase if it's a unique item and difficult to find as the prices are a bit higher than what I'm willing to pay compared to my usual thrift finds at other places. read more

This is my third Savers store (first is at Torrance, 2nd is at Dublin, and now here) and I gotta say, the consistency with their merchandise and staff alike is very impressive. They have similar if not the same exact standards in terms of the products they put up for sale. As with most thrift shops, there was a bit of clutter, but not so much to make it bothersome. I noticed a few staff walking around putting scattered items away where they belong. I found plenty of bargain buys here - a few of them, brand new - and priced reasonably. My Mom was with me, so we took advantage of their Senior Citizen discount on Tuesdays. The stuff we got wasn't just bargain buys: they were all steals! Staff/Cashiers were very friendly. (Parking is shared with other businesses, but not an issue. Plenty of spots available.) We were definitely happy customers! Looking forward to our next visit! read more

I was at your store today. I come in about once a week to donate. You don't stock your shelves, and a lot of people donate to your store in Vacaville. When I donate I never see the stuff on the shelves. One shelf that has these creepy plates with kitty cats on them, but on that top shelf you have this religious purple statue still there. It's been there for about a month. Nobody wants it. Throw it away. Stock your shelves with better stuff. Nobody wants your stuff. I donated some limoge boxes and I donated some perfume bottles where are you guys putting them. Where are they going. I don't donate MY STUFF TO THE STORE NOT TO SOMEONE TO TAKE HOME. The thrift store is really well organized and clean. Be aware there is no dressing room. They do have a bathroom but no merchandise is allowed in the bathrooms obviously. Women's jeans were all about $15, women's slacks/pants were also $15, women's shirts $7-10. They had cute coach/kate spade bags and were all around $40. The baby clothes were anywhere from $3-7, which is kind of expensive in my opinion. Books are like $5, which also is expensive tbh. Merchandise is pretty over priced but has a good-ish selection. after grocery shopping, I decided to stop by Savers Thrift store. I believe my car keys(a fob) were lost in the store. This ended up being a very long day with trying to find help and waiting for Triple AAA to unlock my car door, etc...I was in the parking lot for a total of 4 hours and multiple issues. I ended up scouting the store a few times to make sure I didn't overlook my keys on a shelf, etc.i ended up leaving my phone number incase they were found because I do not have a spare and key fobs are expensive. i had a new car stolen out of a parking lot about 8 years ago and so I was concerned and the employees offered no help. There were four managers present and I tried communicating with them because I was in their store a couple of times searching for my keys and asking if they were turned in. All four managers said they were not and they avoided me. Customer service, communication and common courtesy was not their repertoire. Triple AAA towed car home. I have to have a replacement key fobs are expensive made. One of my friends offered to help by driving me around the next day to see if we could solve this issue because I can't drive my car and I'm stuck at home. We decided to stop by Savers to see if night crew found keys or if somebody turned them in... they had not, in fact, the same manager seemed annoyed that I would returned and they kept an eye on me as my girlfriend and I decided to shop. I purchased a couple of items and was checking out when my bag was grabbed out of my hand by one manager who demanded my receipt and emptied my purchases to see if all was in the up and up. Of course it was! I said to both managers before me, " I was not here yesterday to scope the place just to come back today and get the goods. I also communicated what I was doing and was ignored. I couldn't believe this situation. I'm a 64 yr old woman, nicely dressed, and respected in the community that I've lived in since the 1960s. both my friend and I were shocked. Working in this kind of business requires customer service skills, and I received none...on top of insult! I have no regard for this nonprofit organization that has little regard for human issues and humiliate a customer in their ignorance... I will shop elsewhere and felt the need to write this review because it's was a gross error at my expense and reputation. read more
