I recently found this place and the selection is pretty good. They have tons of clothes and they are kept very neatly. It's all sorted by size, which I really appreciate. Most thrift stores sort by color and I hate that because I literally have to go through every piece to see if there's anything in my size. So I just don't bother. Not at Savers. It saves me tons of time. They also have dressing rooms if you're so inclined to try something on. Tuesday is senior discount day (30% off) and the store was full of them so things get pretty picked over quickly. They also have discounts on other days, for instance last Wednesday they had a discount on books and DVD's. (I can't remember, but I want to say they were 40 or 50% off). I didn't know that and had 4 books that ended up being 1.75 each. Score! I'd say they have more clothes than anything else but they also have housewares, decor, some electronics and great prices on luggage. Most of their things are decently priced, but I did find a few things that were priced way too high for a thrift store. If you're in the area and like to thrift shop it's a good place to pop in. read more

It really wasn't what I thought it would be. Based on the pictures it looked like it was going to be really clean and spacious. It is very big and there's a lot of options but one thing that it neglects is the fact that it's actually kind of too much space. This savers was also kinda of expensive? There were a solid few $20+ items that I rarely see at thrift stores. it is kind of dirty in some places like all the clothes have a very distinct bleach almost laundry smell That just makes the overall experience kind of bad. i came here a couple times to buy board books. they have a nice selections, the book conditions are pretty good, and the books are in their own section so it saves time looking through them. $1.29 per board book and most of the books i got were buy 4 get 1 free. don't know how often they add to the selection but hoping the next time i go i can find some more good books. read more

I have gone to this location a few times to buy and donate. The donation part: I was pleasantly surprised that the two young gentlemen who were helping me were sincere and polite! The company has a punch card that incentivizes donors to come in and shop. This review is for the Aug. 1, 2016 shopping experience my family and I had. The place is very clean and organized. Prices are very reasonable. The items are in good condition. You can see that they make sure every merchandise is presentable before they bring it out. We were there to find shorts and probably some shirts for my boys. My youngest one found a sling bag and he was happy with it. My older one got a pair of shorts and couple shirts. My mom found a giant-looking garlic presser and something else. I myself bought few tops (like 5) to wear for work. So when we got done shopping we headed to the cashier. I think the associate who rang me up was Rick. He told me that if we had any item with a gray tag it is 50% off. I also had my discount card ( the ones you get when you donate) that I handed to him. We had a $24 discount after. We then headed out and went our merry way. But we then saw Jimmy John's and decided to buy lunch there. To make the story short when I was going to pay I couldn't find my card. Then it dawned on me that I left my card on their device ( one of those when you stick your chip card in instead of swiping....then you forget). So I hurriedly walked back to Saver's (thankfully we didn't leave the complex yet). As I walked in I tried to excuse myself and tried to catch Rick's attention. He remembered me and said "We have your credit card" He then lead me to a diff. station where he called his supervisor named Jacob. Rick said that I was the "credit card lady" Jacob came over to retrieve my card from their "safe". He first asked for my identification card before handing me my card. I am so happy that they take these steps to make sure that they give it to the right owner. Because of this experience I will give them a 10! But since I can only rate them up to 5 stars....then 5 stars it is!!! You can be sure that Savers will take good care of you! read more

Really disappointed with the customer service and selection at this location. I was in the area and decided to check out the YL Savers, since fellow Yelper's mentioned the great finds available at this location due to the area being pretty affluent. However, the store's selection was pretty "meh"-nothing extraordinary that I haven't already seen at my local Savers store (which BTW is waaay bigger than this location and contains more shoes and accessories!) I wanted to exchange two items that I had bought at my local Savers at this location, and the sales associate said I could do that at this location. So I proceeded to pick up some items that I could swap for my exchange items. When I got to the register, the sales associate was rather snarky and was giving me her commentary on the clothes that I got ( a J.Crew heavy duty vest and a cardigan). Honestly, I was tired and just wanted to swap my things. I was hoping that I didn't have to pay anything since the new items I bought were about the same price of the items I was exchanging. However, the associate just allowed me to exchange 1 item so I still had to pay out of pocket AND I returned the second item in the bag which I had paid for prior to coming here. Overall, I had to pay for the new clothes I bought today out of pocket AND I pretty much lost $12 since I returned a second item but didn't get the exchange credit for it! UGGGHHH. I was honestly drained from driving that day that I didn't want to deal with this associate and I just wanted to go home. Lesson learned: I WILL NOT SHOP AT THIS SAVERS LOCATION AGAIN. Sales associates need an attitude adjustment, need to learn how to do exchanges properly, and shoes and accessories selection needs improvement. I was excited to find some treasurers in the way of designer hand bags and shoes, however I left disappointed and cheated. Back to my local Savers store, which has waaaay better customer service and is waaaay bigger than this location!!! read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Not only were they overpriced their customer service was terrible BOTH times I've been in there. Particularly the girl manager with the red hair. I questioned a sale price they were advertising and she spoke to me rudely as if I had the audacity to ask such a question. I WILL NOT be returning to this location... I would rather drive to the downtown Anaheim Savers where they treat their customers with respect. As for the prices... I have been a loyal savers customer for years and their prices are always reasonable. But I felt since this location is in Yorba Linda they hiked up the prices... That's not cool. Savers takes thrift store shopping to a whole new level! This is the most well organized, clean thrift store I have ever encountered. Items are in great condition. I purchased a cuisinart thermal grind and brew coffee maker that was practically brand new and many other name brand clothes like Ann Taylor LOFT, Calvin Klein, etc...Lastly, unlike normal thrift stores that offer returns only on electronics, Savers offers returns on clothing items just in case you go home and have second thoughts. I love this store but my last experience was lacking. We purchased over $60 worth of stuff and AFTER the transaction the checker asked if we had a stamp card. Yes-we did have a full one and I admit it was my fault for not getting it out sooner, I asked if we could still get the 30%...no, transaction is complete. Sorry. This place is clean and organized. This is the only reason I come here. Usually the disorganization of thrift stores make me head backwards immediately. The bathrooms for the most part are maintained. The dressing rooms get a little dusty but the lighting and space within them is great. Staff is usually friendly. After one year of its opening, it's still upholding their cleanliness. read more

I used to love going to Savers thrift stores, until they started looking up every single item on eBay. When they first opened up the Yorba Linda location, I scored some good and fair deals on houseware items, now the things have out priced me! I saw a "collectable" plate that was priced at $29.99!! And it was not selling for that much on eBay. Also a broken ceramic item for way more that it should've been! If you are a dealer like myself and not looking for clothes, don't expect any deals here! Today I went to Savers in Yorba Linda, CA for the first time. The store is clean and very well organized. After browsing through the store, I spent a lot of time looking for books to purchase. On the outside cover of the books, there is a sticker that reflects the price. I had picked out 3 hardcover books, each had a sticker on them that I believe was $3.49 each. I looked inside each book to see the condition, and to read the inside jacket. Each hardback book I chose to purchase had $1 penciled in on the first page, which was blank. I randomly picked hardback books from the same section and each one had the same $1 penciled in on the first page. I went to the cashier to pay and she rang up the sticker price on the outside cover for each book. I showed her the price on the inside and she explained why she could not honor that price. 1) because they do not have a $1 price point that can be entered into the register. 2) because the outside sticker represents a % off the original retail price ($24.99 as an example) and that is what the selling price would be. 3) the $1 that is on the first page was written in by the company that Savers purchased the books from, and they could never honor that price. The cashier phoned the manager and was told she could not honor the price. I politely asked her to ask the manager to come out of the office so I could talk to him. He came right away. I asked him why he would not honor the price inside the book, he repeated what the cashier had said to me. I said he should honor the price as it what was in the book. I asked him if this was the first time a customer had questioned the inside price, he said yes. I said it was hard to believe that another customer had never seen the inside price and questioned it. I then politely suggested the prices be removed, (which I knew would be a huge undertaking), but wanted to see what he would say. He never responded. I have purchased many used books from used bookstores and local libraries. I felt the sticker prices were reasonable for what I wanted to purchase. I was not trying to be cheap by trying to get the books for $1 each, even though that would of been a bonus. I do believe that prices that are on items should be honored, and Savers does not do that. I had to choose a star rating above, would of left it zero if that was an option. read more

Savers is my favoriate thrift store, wide isles, friendly people and it is clean snd organized. Be sure when you donate to get a discount card along with your receipt. Went to this store on opening day snd it was super crowed. Found some really great treasures. Was really dissapointed because I could not use my discount card today. For some reason you can not use them for the first couple of days. Had to put some items back. It seems that they would reward people who donate no matter how many days they were open and I donate alot. Clothes are put on the racks by size which is really great. read more

This store is amazing! I mean, Wow!!! This Savers is, by far, the nicest thrift store I've ever been to. I've been to two other Savers locations, and this one is the best! It's so clean and perfectly organized, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. As I looked through the clothes, I saw so many name brands, it was fantastic! For example, J. Crew, Gap, Forever 21, etc. The toys are also really nice. They're quality items in great condition and the prices are really low! I bought two dresses and a couple of toys for my son and only spent $20! The books are buy 3, get one free, but I didn't purchase any today. Looks like they have a good selection, though. Also, there were a ton of nice-looking Disney VHS videotapes, which excited me because we have a TV/VCR combo (old school, I know) and I'm looking forward to introducing my son to all the Disney classics I loved as a kid. They also have a great selection of holiday items including Halloween costumes, Christmas decorations, etc. I think this Savers may get me into trouble because I'll definitely be back soon! read more

This new Savers location is smaller than most I've been to. I feel like the Mens section and shoe sections are super small compared to other Savers. The pricing is alright, not as expensive as the Fountain Valley location but more expensive than the Anaheim location. Store was clean and for the most part organized when I visited (note: it was a 50% off day so I understand that there would probably be a mess) But I have also visited on its first day open and numerous other times and the service and cleanliness was great those days as well. No negative experiences at this location and would definitley come back when Im in the area. read more

So I just went here today. I'm a regular at this location. They have a nice selection nothing fancy or over the top. It's clean and there is one cashier that is very nice and helpful. He's an older gentleman. Anyway. I came today to shop for some things. I'm a single mom of two so I shop at thrift store because I obviously can't afford retail pricing. I couldn't help but notice how much the cost has gone up. I saw a Halloween decoration from the dollar store (I'm a regular at that store too) for 3.99!! It was a cheap plastic frame with a fake mirror with a skull on it. I saw a very worn dress for 14.99. I'm so sad and disappointed because I really enjoyed shopping at this store but due to the price increases I'm not comfortable paying retail price(mostly on clothes) for something that is used. read more

What a score! I love this location. It is clean, the employees are helpful and friendly. The place is organized and it doesn't smell like thrift store funk. I have been to other Savers before and while I always find good stuff, it is laborious because I am sifting through so much. I feel like I was able to find things faster and I wasn't running my cart into things because of crowding. I love the perks of donating (% off!) and the frequent shopper card (% off when completely punched) on top of the color tag discounts. I really can not see myself shopping at another Savers again. I think the biggest bonus is that they donate a percentage to the local Boys and Girls Club. read more

Bought a few items that was overpriced only to find out not operational. And was hilarious saw only one time a 99cent Store item being price marked at 45 dollars wow. If you love thrifting and live in the area, you definitely need to visit this Savers at least once! Everything is sorted by type size, even the shoes; as someone who had only been to Goodwill's and Salvation Army's prior to this, I was amazed that I wouldn't have to shove my way through piles of clothes to find what I liked. Books and home furnishings are all neatly sorted by genre/type as well. The store is super clean, well-lit, and no funky smells. As other reviews have mentioned, this store does have some higher-end clothing; I saw brands like Ann Taylor, Zara, Michael Kors, etc. Yes, it is priced higher than other stores like Goodwill/Salvation Army but I personally think that the slightly higher prices are worth it since the store atmosphere is nice and many of the clothes are high-quality. I bought a pretty much brand-new Ann Taylor shirt for $10. If you dig long enough, however, you do have a chance at finding high-quality clothes for a cheap price; for example, I found a GAP jean jacket for $2.99. The jewelry section here is also definitely worth checking out. New favorite thrift store in the area! Yay! read more

My favorite thrift store. Very large and clean. Senior discount on Tuesdays. When you donate you get a card punched for future discounts. Some clothing are of good brands. Books are alphabetically in order. Good classic section of books. Really it's a very good store. Prices are fair, I think. Nice staff. Clean area outside. Used to go to Saver's in Anaheim. Would never go there again. Bad parking and area. This Yorba Linda Saver's also has some nice fast food places in the parking lot vicinity in case you want lunch. read more
