The store is pretty small and they have things stuffed everywhere's not a big toy section, it's about half of an isle on one side. Also all the clothing is sectioned by type and then it's color coded instead of sizes. All the sizes are mixed together. Once I saw that I gave up and walked out. read more

I have to say that goodwill is no good no more . It's sad that they price things so expensive for things they get donated and sell them so expensive. I don't understand how they are still in business ! I did notice that when today was a purple day color 50% why multiple workers were pulling dresses , men's clothing all PURPLE color ones what is the point of having a color and you pull all that are half off. It's sad how scammy they are!! And they were pulling the clothing out of the racks off hangers and putting them on the back, I would have understood if they were moving them to other one section but they weren't ! The sawtooth huggy wuggies, the aliens, the sexy time nurse costumes did not appeal. Then I saw the simple costume I needed; the costume was not crazy, scary, spooky or hilarious. Stop fleecing poor people with slight price increases here and there. Goodwill is a term assoc. with "benevolent interest or concern" for others. The meaning of Goodwill is starting to mean the Goodwill only caring about itself. 3. Asking people if they want to donate a few cents by "rounding up" should not be happening at all if the Goodwill is going to raise prices too. For profit businesses don't even try that silliness. 4. The colored tag thing is a tired game at this point, and it basically proves the prices could be lower or fairer. 5. Standardize or simplify prices across the store. My Mustard costume should not have been $15. It was outside of the packaging, & missing the hat or top of the costume. Usually pieces of costumes are less. I bought a whole set of red feathered angel wings at another Goodwill for $7. 6. The Goodwill should show people who it really cares for or change its name. 7. This is one of my Favorite Goodwill locations! Each one of my family members found something that they didn't expect to find today at a great price too. Additionally, they had a great Halloween selection, larger than any thrift shop I've seen lately. I picked out a pair of boots, in that area, but they're not Halloweenish. They have a really nice monitor at the door, so people don't accidentally walk out with items they perhaps forgot to purchase. The employees complemented my daughter on her clothing selections. I've been unable to purchase multiple golf bags due to missing tags. also, I was accused of removing the tags myself. When I pointed out I have found multiple of the same item with missing tags, I was ignored and told to come back tomorrow. they then refused to set the item aside for one day so that I could purchase it instead of another person. overall terrible customer service. they could 1. securely place tags on large items where they are likely to fall off. 2. create a system where customers can actually buy the items the find on the floor if a tag fell off. for example: set the item aside until the item can be priced or price the item while the customer waits. 3. not accuse customers of removing tags overall negative experience. the whole point of going to a thrift store is buying cool items you find on the floor for a reasonable price, this is like a library refusing to let you check out a book you finally found on the shelf because the barcode sticker peeled off the back, rather than just looking up the title in their system.. read more

I swung by today to make a sizable donation. At first, I was a bit confused. From the front, it looks like this location isn't a donation center. But it is one. You just have to drive around to the back. It's hard to tell from the front. Once you drive to the back and go through the gate, you'll find a donation setup. I arrived at about noon and someone walked over to my car and greeted me. He helped me unload the trunk of my car. I had bags full of clothes, shoes, purses and 2 suite cases. I was looking for some cute baskets for carrying some holiday gifts and things with me. Originally I went to Michael's on Katella in Orange where they were very nice and even went out of their way to guide me their key flagship Orange County store elsewhere. I wanted something of the scale and mild appearance of a picnic basket. I'd done some research online at all the you know who online stores. But I hadn't found anything near to what I was looking for and a lot of them really varied in price. So, I couldn't gauge the quality at all. Then I heard a girlfriend drop the tidbit that she'd gotten one I'd admire at Goodwill. I made a point to come over here, and I must say the prices were very good. Of course, I had to clean the items up after I got home. But what they had looked good and the price points were much better. Service: non-existent. But the checkout area was fine. I didn't go here looking for great service. However a few more pleasantries and helpfulness wouldn't go amiss. read more

I have had positive experiences every time I have come here to shop or drop things off at the donation center in the back. I have gone multiple times, and have never had an issue finding close parking. As many drop off centers, you must drive behind the store and there is a drive up lane. The people accepting donations have always been friendly and helpful. The inside of the store is small-medium size, but has always had a good selection and been very organized. They test their electronics beforehand, and you have 7 days to try them out and return if not working. The store has always been clean, and employees have always been friendly and helpful. So I been trying to get into thrifting and just saving a buck when out shopping for the new wardrobe to add to my closet. I have always struggled at these type of stores in finding the perfect fit but feel that I am getting better at it. This location is pretty clean and they have a great variety of pieces. They have a whole wall of dresses that seems to be never ending. From small sizes to larger, I am 99% you will find something for yourself. They have a great inventory of household items too. Hello. I came to donate today at goodwill, Saturday 3/22/25 around 11:15ish. I drove in, and was going to need help with my donation boxes, because of my bad hip. But as I proceeded to drive up closer to the workers that were there, this young lady with a blue shirt, and a young man with the gray shirt both had their backs turned to me as if I was invisible. They both were just standing there with their backs turned to me, not even a hello, or any greeting whatsoever. I proceeded to get off my car, and get my boxes myself, and just left my boxes there. The only couple of words she said to me was "Do you want a receipt?" I always donate at this location and this is not the first rude encounter I have had with this young lady. She is always just standing there with her back turned, and the little few she has exchanged with me in the past, she has bad attitude, and no manners. I have encountered better customer service with other workers there. A young short lady there, as well as an older gentleman who are both the sweetest workers, and much better mannerisms than this lady. If she doesn't want to be there, then why is she there? She should be retrained or be in another department. Or the minimum learn how to greet customers. read more

Honestly probably one of the cleanest Goodwill's I have ever been to. The store smelled very fresh. The set up was very intuitive. The store was well kept, even the shoe racks were organized better than the Ross I went into the other day. I found some very cute dresses, shoes, and business pants. This location is pretty clean and organized. The prices at the goodwills have gone up that's why I can't give any of them 5 stars . Used to be more of a bargain . They sell some stuff a couple dollars below retail esp their target attire which they have a lot of . They get bulks of the same stuff I'm thinking from the store but for some reason they sell for only a dollar less. I almost bought a few items until I checked the target store app and seen that it was almost the same price . A Shacket I bought for 19.99 here was being sold at Nordstrom rack for $5 more complete fail on my part . So although there are bargains , they have some stuff priced very high . And for some reason it's always hard for me to find stuff that are the color of the sale of the day . I do wish they had more stuff on sale the day of. Especially since their prices have gone up . I mainly go to drop off goods here. It can sometimes be confusing on which way to enter as people tend to ignore whatever signs are up. The people who work here are usually efficient and will help you unload your car, but not always. Sometimes they'll just sit and point. No returns or store credit even within same day. Policy is unclear and not presented. So unfortunate I can clarify that "final sale" would be more helpful than "as is." Also, having the final sale aspect on the receipt is not helpful as a person can't return now that you have let the customer know after they have already purchased and can't return it, see how that does not make sense? This experience was so bad, it had to be shared. Unfortunately, it involved the store manager so you can't write it off on an unexperienced employee. I spent over 30 minutes in the store finding three items: a cup, a plastic tumbler and a bowl. I started on the left side of the store where the toys are located. It's where the Tervis tumbler was located. The Tervis was used and had a Mickey Minnie and Goofy theme for $2. At checkout I was "greeted" by the store manager. No smile no hello no how is your day? NEXT! with barely a nod to eye contact. This is the store manager Veronica and yet there is not an attempt at a courteous greeting. As I fumbled to retrieve my wallet, I mentioned I was an ARMY veteran. 90% of the time I get the standard thanks for your service. Even though its old hat I appreciate the acknowledgment that I served the country. Again, with attitude Veronica mentioned " I need to see ID. As I was checking out, Veronica said this is not a toy. Accusingly, she pointed to the Tervis cup. I said "what? What does that have to do with anything?" Veronica looked at me and said the label was changed. Because I felt I was being accused of this I immediately said I would never change a label. She peeled the label up, I am sure, ready to point out the black marker back up they have to show when a price has been wrongfully changed. I said I wanted the price to be honored that this was a mistake the store made. Not anything I did. When she refused, I told her she has insulted me, and I wanted to see the manager. This is a form of bait and switch. You can't label a product one price to encourage more shopping and someone spending 30 minutes of their time just to say at the time of checkout its more money. This item was located in the toy aisle labeled and priced as a toy and could be seen as an honest mistake seeing as there is Mickey Mouse Donald Goofy and Minnie all over the cup. It could have been a toy storage piece. I was so upset by all of this I left with only one of three items. Shame on Goodwill for terrible customer service. read more

Yet somehow it's kept fairly neat and organized. They mostly have clothing but also have dishware, toys & games and more knick knacks than you can imagine. Need an old VCR or cassette player? They've got it. Vacuum cleaner? Yes. Coffee mug with the name "Tom" on it? They've got it. And prices are decent. I donate to Goodwill because the drive-up service in the back of the building is easy and convenient. However, I never had a good experience taking my donations there. Maybe it's just me but I would think that a known establishment making their business off of selling items that are being "donated" would enforce their customer service as a top priority. For goodness sake, the women accepting the donations were so rude. I'm not sure if they hate their job if they hate donations, hate people, or hate me. Goodwill ought to remind their employees that accepting donations is what they do and during the process of accepting donations, their employees should remember this. Put a gosh darn smile on your face and call it a day. People who donate should have a good feeling after donating.
