During our recent February heat wave, the system failed again. Matt (owner) and Matt came out to evaluate and repair it. But the 18 year old system was at the point of repair it now and maybe again in the next year or so, or replace it. I decided to go with a full system replacement (AC & furnace). The American Standard system we had worked great (for 18 years) so we replaced it with the newest version. The crew arrived on the appointed date and time and went right to work. I was impressed that they placed drop cloths on the stairs and on the hallway to the attic ladder. I…read morecalled a couple of places, local, and got no answer, I called another local biz, was told all his guys were at a party. Another's voice mailbox was full. I looked on Google and found MSE. I called, the guy answered, I told him the problem, he said turn the switch off, leave it off, and he'd head on over as soon as he could get away. I found out later, he left dinner with his wife to come out and get things going. He showed earlier than he'd said, got right on it, found the problem, had the parts in his van, and half an hour later, the a/c was running cold. I asked him what I owed, he told me and I was taken aback. I felt lucky even to have gotten hold of someone on a late Saturday. I was really hopeful when the guy actually showed, and early at that. When he had the air conditioner going cold in almost no time, I really couldn't believe my good fortune. I 'd already called to make reservations in a hotel in Galveston for the weekend, thinking it would be Monday before anyone would get out to look. But to have a guy do all that and for no more than he'd asked, well, that just doesn't happen often. I can't say enough good about Ezequiel Garza, so I'll just say you'd be doing yourself a favor to have him take care of your air conditioning problems. Pretty much a bunch of BS I called Efficient Polar Air they came out Saturday at 9PM said that the builder when the HVAC person installed the unit they didn't vacuum enough and if anything the expansion valve needed to be changed and vacuum to be done but couldn't confirm anything Nicks Pluming/AC was saying. They fixed the issue for there standard service call and if it keeps reoccuring the expansion valve and vacuum needs to be done. Do yourself a favor and if you have any AC issue call Efficient Polar Air!!! They saved me so much $$$$ by being honest and quick.
