I knew I had a problem with a drain line in my upstairs unit. My regular AC guy was taking too long to address the problem so I gave Air Systems a shot. Quick response. We've had issues with our upstairs AC system for a few years. Every Spring (for the past 4-5 years) we needed a freon recharge, which would last until the next Spring. During our recent February heat wave, the system failed again. Matt (owner) and Matt came out to evaluate and repair it. But the 18 year old system was at the point of repair it now and maybe again in the next year or so, or replace it. I decided to go with a full system replacement (AC & furnace). The American Standard system we had worked great (for 18 years) so we replaced it with the newest version. The crew arrived on the appointed date and time and went right to work. I was impressed that they placed drop cloths on the stairs and on the hallway to the attic ladder. They went right to work and 5 hours later Matt was giving me a walk thru to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. It is. We've had a few cold and hot days recently so I was able to test the furnace and AC system. Everything works like it should. We looked for a new HVAC contractor when Weeks quoted $17,000 to replace all components of our air conditioning. Air Systems gave us a quote of $10,000 with a better brand for the components. A part of our water softener had to be moved to install the outside portion of the system. Weeks quoted $1,200, Air Systems quoted $200. In addition to their significantly lower prices, the Air Systems technicians were polite, punctual and knew what they were doing. The old air conditioner was removed and the new one installed in one day. I give Air Systems my highest, unqualified recommendation. read more

Over the past several years, I've called Air Systems on three occasions to repair my A/C (3 different houses). Each time I called, they responded quickly, and fixed the problem and never tried to up-sell me. The house I'm in now had a very old unit that could no longer keep up with the summer heat, so I called Air Systems to ask about a whole new system. Matt showed up just 3 hours after they opened, on a Saturday, and had my a/c back up and running in just a few minutes. He knew what the problem was as soon as he looked inside my a/c. He had the needed part on his truck. Quickly replaced it and was done. I'm so grateful for the quick response time and how quickly he was able to get it back up and running. When our home warranty company replaced our outside condenser (by a company I won't mention), we had nothing but a domino of problems. After 7 months, water dripping in our attic, days off work, a hot and humid house and a 2nd opinion by the warranty company quoting an additional $1400 repair, we called Air Systems for a second opinion. Excellent customer service, price, expertise and all around winners. A couple of years ago, they replaced an evaporator coil for a much more reasonable cost than any of the other several estimates I had. Very professional staff. Had a recent problem with one of my units and the fellow from Ch u rch Services came out, took a brief look (didn't open the outside unit panel) and said everything looked ok after I told him what the problem was (unit clicked and the fan would try to come on, but would only do so intermittently). The unit outside quit working so I dug up Air Systems' number and had them come check it. Matt knew almost immediately what the problem was when I described it to him, and fixed it in a few minutes. Paid for just the service call. AC works now! I'm going to cancel my annual service/maintenance with the other company and have Air Systems do it, since they do a much more thorough maintenance service than the other folks ever did. read more

After a 3 month search for a HVAC contractor to do a full system replacement, I finally decided on Air Systems. The first conversation I had with Matt Cartwright, I felt very confident with his knowledge of HVAC systems and his professionalism. They were also the only company I had come across that was recommending American Standard equipment which was my personal preference (I will leave the reliability/cost/features research for you and your situation). The short version is that they are punctual, professional and fairly priced. I got a top of the line 3 zone system installed in about 7 hours. There were 3 installers working the whole time and all were professional, knowledgeable, courteous and clean. You could not tell they had been in the house when they had left, other than the quiet comfortable air coming out of my vents. Though they were very competitively priced my recommendation to use them is based first on their professional ability and attitude with the good price being a secondary benefit. I give them my highest recommendation and I will be using them for my future maintenance needs. read more

Started using these guys based on a co-workers referral. I needed someone dependable and affordable that could take over maintenance and service for a five unit townhouse complex my father owns in La Marque. They always show up when they say they will, always manage to accommodate my emergencies, pick up keys and let themselves in when I can't meet them, bill me when I can't meet them to pay them, and they have the best service and labor rates anywhere in this area. I know because I have called around and checked. Also, recently they gave me quote to re-duct my home and replace my old fiber plenum that was so low that it wasn't worth it to me to even consider doing myself! They were fast and they did a clean and neat job. Cleaned up after themselves and and just basically went over and above. I would give them 6 stars if I could. I woke up Sunday morning Labor Day weekend with a warm house. We tried going thru the insurance the land lord has for problems like this and after 3 hours of having them tell us that they were sending someone and finally getting an answer that they MIGHT get to us Monday at 5pm, I called Air Systems and Robert came within 20 min.
