Saturday morning the AC was out in the hottest heatwave on record, and I couldn't reach or get a commitment from my old AC folks. The prospect of a long, horrible weekend plus some good reviews got me to the nice folks at Grady. By 4:00 pm with great staff (Lindsey at the office and Gregdon on site), plus a new capacitor, we were cool and happy as a bug in a rug. Used home warranty and they came out and put the wrong coolant in my system, yes I know I need a new one but it stopped working in less than 24 hrs. Called a local person to give me a quote, he basically told me Grady's took a gun to my unit. Now this new company is working with me and installing a new unit. read more

Our heater was making an awful noise. We filed a home warranty claim and they sent out Christian from Grady's Air and Heat Services. Christian was very professional, respectful and treated us as a valued customer. He returned with the necessary part quickly and our heater was up and running in no time. These guys are by far the best HVAC team I've had. I'm 53, and seen a dozen different AC companies. They're polite, professional, and friendly. They really know what they're doing. Grady's installed two new systems for us, and the work looks like NASA planned it--all the equipment lined up neat and symmetrical, clean tape lines, straight plumbing, the works. It's just NEAT. THEN, their service afterward has been fantastic. They've been out a couple of times for post-install service; mostly our fault, plugged drains. And they didn't charge us! We came home around noon today to find a small water spot above our return vent. My husband did the best he could to see the source and quickly realized it was the AC. I called these guys up, and they missed my call but returned it within 5min or less. They got us in same day (today), had a lower service call price than the other places I called, they called ahead when the service tech was coming, and the service tech showed when they said he would. Luis was very professional and knowledgeable and quickly discovered the problem: the dreaded drain line sludge. He installed a blow out valve for future maintenance, did some work to blow out the sludge, applied some bleach and anti sludge tablets, and, for about $10 more than if we had only paid him to clean out the sludge, we were able to sign up for yearly maintenance so we won't have to deal with this again, he will! Luis was a pleasure to work with, he gave us tons of info on what to look out for and how to manage the water spot and dripping that had happened down the return vent, and urged us to call him back if things hadn't dried up in 2 days. Lemme tell ya, we had a miserable time with AC people before we bought this house a month ago. Whoever the seller kept sending out here took a literal week to get here, never showed up on time, and left without fixing the problem three times. When I saw this water spot today, my heart sank thinking that all AC folks would be as bad as the previous ones. But man, dealing with the folks at Grady's and then Luis when he came was like night and day. It sucks that we needed them, but if you HAVE to deal with AC troubles, they're the folks to call as far as I'm concerned! read more

Kind of leery of this company at first because of their association with American Home Shield warranty. I was wrong in my thinking. Our experience with Grady's Air & Heat was exceptional. The service technician was very competent and knowledgeable of the problem. The technician had the tools and parts needed to troubleshoot the problem and make the repair. I wish I could say that about the last air-conditioning company. Based upon this experience I would recommend Gradys Air to anyone and will use their services again. I called Grady's Wednesday morning with a failed AC system not working and keeping or house warn. Set up an appointment same day, they shown up within a few hours. Tech gave the bad news which I already pretty much knew. So we scheduled for a complete new install. This install wasn't small with all new duct work being installed. They showed up at our house at 7:30 the next morning with 5 and 6 people working. The group of guys all very nice and worked hard and didn't leave until 10:30pm at night. The system install was all completed and everything all cleaned up. I can actually see and walk all around in my attic which I could not in the past without climbing over many rows of ducts. They completely redesigned my air system. Very nice work and all involved are customer service driven. I highly recommend Grady's Air & Heat. We had been without Air conditioning for an entire month this summer due to one company misdiagnosing our problem and a different company saying the problem wasn't fixable and we needed a new unit. When we called Grady's Air and Heat, the lady in the office was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and the very next day a technician from Grady's had the problem diagnosed and fixed within a couple of hours. At this time I cannot recommend Gradys Air & Heat at this time. Over the past couple weeks I have been having problems with home ac unit cooling. On the first call the technician started it was due to thermostat batteries being dead. He replaced batteries and left. Although I informed him that the circuit breaker tripped and I reset it, he stated only problem was the batteries. Wow what an expensive battery replacement I thought. Same problem happened again and circuit breaker tripped, a/c not cooling. It took about 3 or 4 days for them to come back out. The same technician took the water hose from my backyard and rinsed the coils. He deemed the problem was fixed and due to "dirty coils". He stated "you have to maintain your units once a year". Well I informed him that I always do annual maintence on my units and the were just serviced (with cleaning of coils) one month ago. At that point he was upset and started yelling, pretty much saying the coils were dirty and the water hose fixed it. I asked for a supervisor or another technician be involved. He then stated he called his boss and boss told him "measure the differentials and get out of there". I voiced my concerns that more comprehensive diagnostics been done to determine the problem. His response was as long as its cooling now there is nothing I can do. The very next day circuit breaker tripped and now ac is not working again. I have reached out to company and hope for a different technician that will do a thorough evaluation of my ac. read more

Getting on the schedule was a horrible experience so I scheduled with someone else. Wait until a technician is in your area and then we will call you within the hour when we are available. Absolutely amazing!!! I used home warranty companies in the past for AC issues and my experiences were always terrible so I cancelled my warranty. My neighbor highly recommended Grady's so I called them to diagnose issues with my central AC. By the way, I was never put on hold and they were very responsive even after we rescheduled. Fernando came out this afternoon and performed a thorough inspection and test. When he answered my questions, I could tell he was very experienced and I was impressed with his knowledge. He was super friendly and professional and the call out fee was very reasonable. My experience with Grady's exceeded expectations and they have won my business in the event I ever need AC work in the future. If you're like me and get tired of dealing with companies that aren't responsive, cut corners and overcharge for what they provide, then try Grady's. Highly recommended!!! read more
