This is some of the best frozen yogurt I have ever had. The mountain berry with yogurt chips and blackberries is to die for. The vanilla with honey oats and peanut butter cups is way too good as well. They have so many options for toppings, there really is something for everyone! The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful. read more

This is such an awesome place if your looking for something sweet, the people here are super nice the service is great moves very fast and most importantly it tastes amazing and just generally gives off good vibes. 4 Because frozen yogurt is delicious, and this place has been around as long as I can remember in my 35 years here and I love it....but hey, yo, seriously will please STOP giving samples like this photo? Is this how they are trained now? I was surprised to see them with a styrofoam cup in hand for a sample (why aren't you using cardboard for your actual size options?) and let alone such a big cup for a sample. It's always been a little tiny spoon. I didn't have time to stop him before he filled it so I though "eh whatever" and then to my absolute bewilderment and shock and some disgust he also puts a giant spoon in it? Can we not just use the spoon? And why not the little spoons as samples have been for as long as I remember? We're now needing to waste a strofoam cup and a big plastic spoon for a sample? Giving this business a 2 out of 5 because i'm generous. I've heard about this place from multiple different people and was super excited to go in and try it. When i walked in, not a SOUL in sight. I thought the place was closed. I waited at the counter and FINALLY and employee showed up to take my order. I got cookies and cream fro yo with two toppings. and yes, THEY CHARGE FOR TOPPINGS I wouldn't mind paying for toppings if i got more that 2 Reeces Peanut Butter cups on my fro yo, cmon seriously?!? I sat down to eat my fro yo and still, not another soul in the shop. This place was so quiet i could hear a pen drop. I thought i was sitting in a library. Employees are always so amazing, they always manage to put a smile on my face. 3 stars because they definitely need new decor and benches. That atmosphere is anything but welcoming. Definitely makes you feel jesus is judging you while you're eating mint chip. read more

No Covid 19 Protocols in place. Very unsafe place to patronize. Owners seem not to be concerned about the health and well being of their patrons. Skip it . Plenty of other places to buy yogurt and ice cream that care about their employees well being and the health of their customers. Sadly this is not one. No Social distancing markers, unlimited people in the small space, etc. NOT HEALTHY read more

They decided to have 3 locations again and now have their third location near Raleys on the Skyway. Same basic yogurts, still a bit over priced. Fortunately they stopped their heavy bible promoting a while ago and so I'm back to buying their yogurts once in a while when I find a 2 for 1 coupon and in the mood for frozen yogurt. read more

These guys really went above and beyond on my froyo, I mean just look at it!! I got the peanut butter and cookies and cream swirl. My boyfriend of the scoop-able cookies and cream ice cream and we were both surprised on how good it tasted. Tasted very fresh and different than other ice cream shops. read more

I never pick frozen yogurt over ice cream...except here. It's so good! It's much more refreshing than any other froyo I've had, and usually not overly sweet. They rotate their flavors pretty often as well. A little pricey for yogurt, but the portions are huge. We like to come here at night and sit in the booths indoors, although it's also nice to take your ice cream or yogurt and walk around town. read more

I used to love Jon and Bon's, but their yogurt kept getting smaller and their prices kept getting higher. The prices for toppings are much more than most! I'm not sure why they've increased their prices so much when there are way more yogurt shops in town nowadays. Last time I went I was very sad at the pitiful amount of yogurt I got for how much I paid. They also stopped taking movie tickets, which I understand but I really liked that about them. I also think they keep getting more religious and preachy by handing out books at the front desk, and that makes me very uncomfortable. I will not be back. read more

Say what you want about Chico, it doesn't mess around in the food department. Some of my my favorite places of all times reside here in this little college town and Jon & Bon's is one of them. I have probably consumed an entire lifetime of calories eating their yogurt and toppings. I remember back in the day I would come in hung over or simply because my sweet tooth was tugging me in that direction and I would order MASSIVE sundaes; I'd call it lunch. The cookies and cream flavor is my favorite and haven't found one that I like better. I also love the fact that they use REAL hot fudge here. A lot of these yogurt shops use the sugar free or reduced fat fudge since it's suppose to be "better" for you. I say eff that, if it ain't the real deal, you might as well just forget it. I guess I could argue that in favor of real ice cream as well but I've always been a fan of both. My idea of a perfect date in Chico: Celestino's pizza followed by Jon & Bon's. read more

This place has delicious ice cream, frozen yogurt, and shaved ice with alllll kinds of flavors. You have to go here on those boiling hot summer days in Chico. Minus one point for the creepy, inappropriate "Keen on Jesus" slogans throughout the store. Boo. read more

I have been going to Jon and Bons since I was 15, i'm 26 now. my friends and I in high school would go to the one down town and sit by the window and people watch. This place brings back old memories of the good times in high school. My first boyfriend ever took me here almost everyday.... i think he stop taking me because i got fat then broke my heart! awwwww My friends and I would go during farmers market on thursday nights, or when we had nothing else to do during the summer. I would always get the cookies and cream, french vanilla and Strawberry. Even now that i have moved away, when I go home to visit my parents I will always stop by Jon and Bons and grab a yogurt. read more

Hey. It's a freakin' yogurt shop. Nothing too fancy and definitely nothing to write home about. But I will write here.... The yogurt is just as it was in the 1980s when it was over on Nord Avenue next to the Safeway. Was always busy with students and it hasn't changed. Still the mediocre yogurt with predictable toppings. But still good. You could tone down the religious messages plastered all over the walls. Okay...we get it. You go to church. But should you push it on the public? Better to get a cone at a good ice cream shop. read more

OMG, this place is hands down the best frozen yogurt place I have ever been to. This is one of things I miss most about not living in Chico. Sweet, melt in your mouth, soft serve frozen yogurt in a about 8-10 different flavors and some of these flavors change every few days. The small is so big you are sure they accidently gave you a medium, but the bigger the better to make room for your toppings! There are at least 20 different toppings to choose from: M&M's, granola, oreos, chocolate chips, cookie dough, brownies, fruit and so on. I personally love the cookies n' cream with oreos or mint with chocolate chips. read more

Terrible service!!! I brought friends of mine who were traveling to downtown Chico and thought ice cream at the shop was necessary. We were ignored for over 10 minutes while the teenagers behind the counter flirted with the boys on my side f the counter. I was sorely disappointed- instead I took my friends down the street to Cold Stone- and go figure, fabulous service there! read more

If you are a sweet freak like me, you cant go wrong at Jon n' Bons. Great ice cream, frozen yogurt, toppings, drinks and whatever your fat ass desires. Trust me, I worked there for 6 weeks. Although it was torture, it definitely made up for itself with all the goodies I crammed in my mouth in between breaks. MUCH better than any tcby crap you can get at regular chains. The only reason I didnt give this place 5 stars is because of the christian psycho babble that occupies this little space. Unfortunately the owners are too stupid to realize you cant brainwash anybody into christianity, even with scrumptious chocolate frozen yogurt with Reese's peanut butter cups on top! read more

My favorite place for yogurt. The granola is absolutely to die for. *carob peanut butter *honey I used to go here and just buy their granola (at first they seemed like this was an odd request, but now they sell individual packages. YAY!) Its housemade granola, too. the yogurt *peanut butter *graham cracker *cookies and cream I'm sure the serving size I get, it is not a healthy dessert, but damn its good! read more

I love this place. The flavors are always changing and are ALWAYS tasty. The cupcake flavor is delish, and so is the cookies n cream. I love that they will let you have two or even three flavors in the same cup without any extra charge! The toppings are good but they cost enough extra that I don't bother. They will let you sample any of the flavors, which is nice. They also have those loyal customer cards where if you buy 5 you get 1 free. Love that. The reason they don't get 5 stars? The locations are usually very small and the tables are sticky, and they have some Christian propaganda in at least one of the locations that I don't care to have to stare at while I wait. Oh, and no credit cards. read more

I've been here a couple times now, for yogurt and ice cream now. But just recently I had the absolute best experience here. I ordered a single scoop and the kind employee allowed me to put more than one flavor in it. I tried both strawberry and chocolate chip cookie dough. The strawberry was the best I've ever had and I like kitchy ice cream shops. The cookies and cream was also very well done. The price of $4 for a single scoop was kinda high but because I was able to pick 2 flavors and it was plenty of ice cream it was worth it. I will definitely be coming back. read more
