The frozen yogurt is very good, the employees seem friendly & the establishment is clean, but here's something that perplexed me. As my family & I sat & ate our frozen yogurt, my three year old suddenly needed to go to the bathroom. I asked if he could use the restroom & was told that they had a bathroom, but not for non-employees. I can understand not allowing non-paying customers to use your amenities, but paying customers? I feel like if they don't want to allow paying customers to use the restroom then they shouldn't have a lobby for customers to eat at & it should be take-out only. read more

We just went to this shop for the first time. I was apprehensive after reading the reviews. It was 4:00 on a Friday and the line was out the door. There was only 1 young man working. The ambiance of the toppings was fire! They definitely have toppings for any occasion and always filled to show off a very elegant look. My girlfriend tried a simple setup of vanilla yogurt and Oreo toppings. Unfortunately that's all it was. Oreo crumbs on top of vanilla yogurt. I got a Hawaiian snow which according to the worker, is a shaved ice like you can get from hawaii. I definitely do not recommend the Hawaiian snow, unless you are tryna get a slushy. The customer service was decent. She seemed like she was over her job and just didn't wanna be there. Kinda just threw out orders together and called it a day. Tbh we wouldn't go back. I come to this location more than once a week, one of my go to flavors is Cookies n Creme but this passed month they're not mixing it correctly or something changed? It's been either tasting like nothing or close to vanilla flavor. Absolutely, No cookies n crème flavor, so bummed. I hope they fix this! Three strikes, you're out! I've frequented this establishment three times in the last month and was forced to return to the car empty handed. First evening we arrived approximately 8:45pm and they had already cleaned up their sugar free option for the night. The following week, they actually stated they didn't offer one that day. Tonight was the final straw. We arrived at 9:15pm to find the place closing up. Not one flavor available!! Wait, what? Sign says you close at 10 ( it's a Sat night). The yorgurt is awesome, but what stood out was the employee working. He was very nice and gave us really nicely filled yorgurt cups. Yum, tasty as always. Quintin was his name and i think even though i have a Jon and Bons very close to my house ill go to the one across town. Usually we go.have frozen yorgurt, we look at the cup sizes and always order a small one. They are a bit spendy and its always disappinting because you feel like you barely start eating it and your done. We really enjoyed our yummy yorgurt and finally felt good about how much we spend. As a lifelong mint chocolate chip ice cream lover and consumer, I HATE when anyone puts chocolate chips in the mint chip flavor (I know, I know Mint "chip"); it's just that they're so hard and not fun to eat. Chunks or generous sized shavings are typically best because it's a higher quality chocolate and you can chew into it (and actually taste real chocolate) rather than feeling like you're eating cold rocks that blur your vision with every boring but painful bite. The employees were neither incredibly friendly nor incredibly rude, just....mediocre service. I also felt that the prices were a little high. Mediocre ice cream, mediocre customer service, high prices........let's just say we probably won't be running back for more anytime soon. read more

Normally when I go to Jon and Bon's I go with the expectation of great quality customer service and unfortunately, that is not what I got. John and bonds typically has great customer service at all that other locations. We were quite surprised the older woman (maybe 25) in women's rugby foundation shirt was extremely offputting and made us feel uncomfortable being there. She spoke in an aggressive tone and came off as nothing short of offensive and gave us a look as though she was disgusted and wanted us to leave. An older couple walked out prior to our order being taken. I don't think I've ever been treated like this, by a server, in my life. This is not how any customer should feel at any point in time in any business. When we arrived back at our house we found that she had also been oddly inconsistent in the amount of yogurt we got in each small. Hopefully Jon n Bon's can remedy this, otherwise all they are doing is jeopardizing the success of a brand new location. read more

I'm not sure why there are bad reviews for this location at all. I have brought my 3 year old daughter here several times (probably more than I should! Lol), and we have only experienced such sweet and considerate workers. There was a young man who was there awhile ago and he was so great at connecting with my daughter and anticipating our "napkin needs." Wow, haven't been to J&B's in a couple years. I had horrible experiences at the other 2 locations. The ladies were super nice here, and didn't feel like I had to rush to get my kids ice cream. The woman helping using said how cute my kids were. Totally night and day experience. They remembered what I ordered. The other locations the employees were high as a kite all the time. They couldn't remember anything. Would ask 5 times and still got the order wrong. They also didn't skimp on the ice cream like they did at the other locations. I actually ordered a small and got so much ice cream. Before I'd order a medium and get a kids sized amount lol. Hope the quality stays the same. I would bring my kids in more often from now Update. I was so excited to see they opened a new location near the south side of Chico. It's just too bad the female employee that "helped" us tonight completely ruined any further hopes or expectations I have for the new location. I've never been talked to by an employee of any Jon & Bon locations the way she spoke to us, and treated us. I hope that she doesn't ruin anyone else's experience, and she can take this as some constructive criticism to treat customers with the same respect they treat employees with. With all that being said; the skyway location is nice, newly refurbished but same feel as the mangrove location. The yogurt is amazing, that's really the only reason I'm giving two stars. My husband said the frozen yogurt is yummy with many flavors to choose from. I chose an ice cream cone. Delicious chocolate peanut butter flavor. The young man helping us was having a hard time getting the ice cream into the cone, so he offered it in a bowl instead, but I still got the cone . I even think he was more than generous with the serving ! I just wish this new shop would spend more time attending to sanitation. The young man's apron was filthy, the floors needed washing and the window where we sat had been smeared by little ice cream covered hands.
