We had a great experience last year, that we came back for senior prom and an additional jacket. I can't say it enough, Jad Brothers, truly exceptional. Pure elegance. They said it should be arriving by March but I have been assured they'll do everything possible to make sure it's ready in time for my wedding! Currently, you have to have an appointment which you can online or by calling. Debbie helped me both days I was in the store & she's a gem. She was super knowledgeable and helpful. When I came in, I stood up at the front and one of the women available approached me to get me ready for the appointment. Debbie brought me into the back to one of the private fitting rooms & told me how the dresses were setup on the racks & had me/my mom pick out as many as comfortable & she also selected some for me to try as well. She had me try on a variety of styles & also picked some out based on what I said I was into. She took pictures of me in each dress & I'm a plus size so I was still able to try on most everything even if it wasn't the right size. She was able to maneuver it so I could see what It would look like on me when it did fit. I had a couple favorites so I came back the next day to try them on again with my bridesmaids & ended up picking one with Debbie's help. Everyone in the store was soo friendly to me & helpful. I'm really happy with shopping here & they do their alterations on site so I'm really hopeful everything will be done in time! I definitely recommend going here to have a store that is there for you & will work with you. Also, I found dresses here to be a few hundred less than some of the other stores I tried so that's also a plus. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this store. While I was initially happy to find…read moremy dress here, the customer service throughout the process was consistently poor. THE WORST!!!! The staff were often unfriendly and unwelcoming, and my interactions with the alterations department were particularly frustrating. The seamstress appeared rushed during every appointment, communication was unclear, and the work performed did not meet my expectations. After returning four separate times for adjustments, the dress still did not fit properly. I was charged over $170 for alterations, which largely consisted of adding cups, and I did not feel that the value of the work justified the cost. More importantly, I felt that my concerns were not adequately addressed throughout the process. Customer service and attention to detail are especially important when purchasing and altering a formal dress, and unfortunately, this experience fell far short of what I expected. While others may have a different experience, I personally would not return or recommend this store based on my experience.

Recently though, I went to After Hours at North Point mall to rent a tux for a wedding and it cost me $160 for one night !! Talk about one hell of a price inflation. What ever happened to the cheap rentals I got in the glory days of high school proms, when I tried to sneak in a flask of Jim Beam inside my the coat pocket? The service at After Hours was pretty decent, but nothing spectacular. It was pretty much what you would expect from a place that rents formal wear. I am pretty sure that if I wanted to purchase the Tuxedo and keep it for myself they told me it would run about $50 extra, bringing the total cost to about $200. I was tempted to just go ahead and buy the used tuxedo, but when the hell am I going to need a tux again? Also, chances are it will not match the next batch of groomsmen that I am paired with. Oh, and I think I should address late fees. For a normal rental the tux is due the next day. If you are late they charge you $20 a day. My tux was actually two days late so I received a whopping $40 charge. Guess I should have just bought the damn thing after all.

On June 1st, the alterations that she was trying to do through the boutique where she got her dress were stopped as they could not get it right. They had been working on the dress for 5 months, and had had 5 appointments, and were wholly unable to get even the hemline right. With right at a week before the bride had to leave for the event, we were on the hunt for a new seamtress! One place was unable to help as they just didn't have the time due to the extensive work needed. A friend recommended this place and we raced over. They looked at the previous work and told us the dress had been ruined by the previous attempts, but they could fix it. Hannah & Jamie were lifesavers! They were able to get the dress back to 0 overnight, and then began the real alterations. The first fitting came back near perfect. With a tweak or 2, it was ready to go with the weekend to spare! They truly saved the day, and the bride's sanity! I am also a wedding planner, and have already begun recommending them to my clients. It is so hard to find a GOOD seamstress, I only ever notice the bad ones. But Hannah & Jamie were a Godsend and I am so thankful for them!
