Words really can't describe how amazing your agent, Amy Dupree-Stroupe, is in every way! Six years ago, Amy sold our house for us in Indian Trail. We encountered every possible issue with selling this home. Amy went above and way beyond to make sure that it sold. We had already moved to a new location and she really took on a lot of extra tasks. She did all of this with an upbeat, positive attitude no matter the situation. Two words: Melissa. Christiansen. If you are buying OR selling a home, you have to hire her - immediately. I cannot say enough good things about Melissa. I waited until we closed to write this review because while I was tempted to write a great review early on, I kept thinking I was dreaming and this all couldn't be real! And let me tell you - this Wonder Woman can market herself, she doesn't need me to do it for her, but this diamond in the rough cannot go unnoticed. Here are some things she may not tell you and/or you may not notice at first BLUSH. First, she is an insanely nice human being but will not be a doormat. She is a sweetie, yet firm, as needed. She will not always tell you everything you want to hear but what you NEED to hear (or just her own opinion in a nice way). Also, she has collaterally been in the legal profession for 15 years and she knows the contractual obligations/mumbo jumbo most of the lawyers do not. She caught something in our closing that the lawyer didn't (and I'm a lawyer, so this is not an anti-lawyer comment....I'm just sayin'). She had TWO deaths happen during our time with her yet she even came straight to our inspection from a funeral at one point. Not to mention, she's an unending fountain of resources and information for everything you'll need. General contractor (check), handyman (check), inspection company (check - and I gave them 5 stars too), closing attorney (check), sounding board for decorating ideas (check), and/or patient realtor while your two small children rampage throughout numerous houses and "have to go potty" with no toilet paper in the bathrooms (check). It's like when you go to Whole Foods and realize you DO need green bean crisps. Or "organic ice" (that's not really a thing but if it was - Melissa could sell it to you). She is everything you did not realize you needed but also all that you'd expect from a realtor. So - do not pass go, do not collect $200 (or in our case 15k in instant equity), just go straight to Board Walk and/or Park Place and win yourself a home with Melissa! read more

Ashley Johnson is both a consummate professional and my new bestie in NC. Seriously, my new employer wanted me in Charlotte ASAP. I looked on Yelp, found Savvy and they connected me with Ashley. To say she was the BEST thing that happened to us during this process is an understatement. I'm well aware that renters are often neglected by realtors who'd prefer the payoff of a sale. But Ashley treated us like valued clients and took a ton of time to make sure we got what we wanted during our whirlwind 2 day trip to find a home. First of all, she sent dozens of listings and patiently worked with us to put together a list of properties that satisfied all of our requirements - us being from California and having no clue about Charlotte or its neighborhoods. She also connected us with DAYCARE so that our 13 month old son could have fun in a loving, safe environment while we spent the day driving around the city for hours. We were able to focus on finding a new home while our son made new friends and ate Chick Fil A for the first time. (he's a fan) However, I think the most telling part of this whole story is that Ashley did not stop searching for our perfect home until we were practically landing in Charlotte and the last one she sent us is the one we ended up falling in love with. She advocated for us (because the owners were trying to sell, not rent) and we ended up signing the lease the day after we first saw it. We met the owner, hit it off and walked away with keys to our perfect new home, all thanks to Ashley's deft diplomacy. And y'all, she's AWESOME! So funny, kind and an all around amazing woman. We just bought our first house, and Brittni Multi was our realtor. As 22 year olds, we were completely clueless about how to go about this. At first we met with a realtor from a different agency who did not take us seriously at all. We dumped him and came to Savvy because our last rental went through them. What a difference!! Brittni was the best, and her partner Debe was great too. I liked working with Brittni because she was only a bit older than us, so I felt like she understood our needs perfectly. When we went to see houses, she had suggestions for renovations that appealed to our modern tastes. The close of the house could have gone better by no fault of anyone involved. The owners forgot to include an important key to a room that contained some shutoff valves we needed on asap. My husband and I have to thank Savvy for our beautiful new home! We moved to Charlotte last year and knew very little outside of uptown. This was our first single family home purchase and we wanted to thoroughly explore all neighborhoods and types of homes before making this huge decision. We spent the first couple months exploring on our own, then over the next 10 months we enlisted the help of professionals in an attempt to find our dream home. In order to do that we knew we needed to find a realtor we were 110% comfortable with. For the first four months we experienced realtors who were clearly just telling us what they thought we wanted to hear with some outright lying to us (feigning knowledge) and others who just wanted us to buy a place even if it wasn't right for us. After 6/+ realtors, we finally received a solid referral from a colleague who used Savvy for his home purchase. We called up Shonn Ross who is the co-owner at Savvy + Co, and described what we were looking for and the neighborhoods we were most interested in. My husband and I can always tell immediately if we like someone and after the first viewing, we got into the car en route to the next viewing and instantly agreed we both liked Shonn. Shonn is genuine, extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and definitely helped to set expectations. He immediately started looking at homes meeting our description and he was able to help us refine and commit to what we were looking for. Shonn would proactively reach out to us at the beginning of the week and let us know his availability for the upcoming weekend to look at some homes, and if we ever wanted to see a house at the last minute, Shonn would usually make the time if he didn't have any prior commitments. In the end, Shonn came across a new listing, took several photos of the interior and showed us these photos at our next meeting which convinced us to go look at it immediately. A week or so later we began our closing procedures! Shonn and his closing coordinator (Molly) were always available throughout the closing process, promptly answering any of our questions, making sure we received the right documents, meeting us at the house for our inspections or just to view the house again, and following up MANY times with the listing agent and other 3rd parties involved in the closing process to ensure we had all our bases covered. We admittedly consider ourselves "high maintenance" and Shonn and Molly exceeded our expectations. They continue to be helpful after we closed on our home providing guidance and contacts to help with the "new home" issues we've encountered since moving in. Shonn's personable and honest approach truly made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire home buying process. We felt we could lay out all cards and he wouldn't, unlike several other realtors we experienced, take advantage of us. This review is about Brittni Muti, one of Savvy & Co's realtors out of the Ballantyne office. When we were trying to choose a realtor for our move from Texas to North Carolina, we had discussions with a few realtors, all of whom were just typical salespeople. I wouldn't say any of them were BAD, per say - just typical. We decided to give Savvy a try, as we had worked with them a couple of years ago, but had decided then to wait a while before buying. I've never been happier with a decision! For starters, Brittni has been absolutely phenomenal.
