I attended my first cycle bar in San Jose to rekindle this relationship and from the moment I walked in to when I walked out, you feel SO cared for!! My first day I got a complimentary shoe rental and my name was on the locker rooms and check in and everything was seamless. Anaya helped me from the moment I walked in until I sat on my bike. She is the sweetest! I couldn't get my shoes off the bike but they had said they would help me and such lol. I knew I shouldn't push myself from my first experience so I paced myself and although it seemed everyone around me were pros lol I just loved the energy of the trainer and people. I was focus in the zone to do my best and read my body. This is a great workout esp if you love the environment of good music and company. It just felt right and yes I would totally go back!! I would call to ask for an extension and be told "oh the manager can only do that, she'll call you back." First, that was never an issue in the past, anyone could have given me an extension if I asked. And then of course I haven't heard back from the manager at all. I appreciated the flexibility before and the classes are super fun. It's a huge bummer that flexibility is now gone. There's a lot of other nit picky things about the cyclebar policies that are obvious cash grabs (fees for no-show, fees for cancelations within 24 hrs, and now letting our classes expire). Some of that can be understandable, others are frustrating because what happens if I don't hear back from the manager? Just going to have to be out of some extra money because of an apparent lack of flexibility. But I guess my only solution is to not come back unfortunately. Edit: I had called multiple times and didn't hear back until after making this review

The instructors are top notch, well trained, personable, and passionate about their work. I highly recommend their Yoga Teacher Training and any of their workshops - they are worth every penny on top of the regular membership. Visit Yogasource if you want the best of the best.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, from the front desk managers to each and every instructor. Each instructor has a different vibe -- and they're all great. From time to time, the studio runs different fitness challenges, which helps foster the community atmosphere. Atmosphere: The studio is set up into three different sections - one for spin, one for strength, and the other for yoga. The facilities are modern and very clean. It's nice! Classes: The signature Spenga workout is 60 minutes - 20 minutes of spin, 20 minutes of strength, and 20 minutes of yoga. The Spin classes ramp up in intensity based on your own performance over time through increasing your "sweet spot." This is nice because you can see how much you improve over time. After a SPENGA class, I feel like I've had a great workout and love that it ends in yoga. The mix of all three parts works so well for me. I'd gotten out of the habit of working out -life got busy. And SPENGA has been great for me to get back into the swing of things. I've gotten good results in terms of fat loss and physical performance. I can't wait to see what the next six months has in store. I'd absolutely recommend giving it a try if you are looking for a new fitness activity in Los Gatos.

That matters. Because we all know how often women are gaslit, dismissed, or punished for speaking up- especially when we confront power structures that would rather protect their image than their integrity. So to every woman who saw what I saw: thank you. You validated the truth. You made it known that I wasn't alone. This is the dirty work- calling it out and refusing to be silenced. Though the emoji reactions were reset because I updated my review, the impact still stands. Photo included. ----------------- In response to their public statement - here's what they're leaving out. And the receipts. I wasn't going to respond but the level of gaslighting, dishonesty, and audacity to act like being a "premier" club gives you permission to treat clients like they're beneath you- that's exactly the rot at the core of your brand. Clearly I struck a nerve, since you chose to respond only to my review, while ignoring others with similar concerns. I was charged $336 for a month of access and then banned days later with no paperwork, no warning, and no refund until I followed up myself. Their claim that the refund was issued "as a courtesy" is laughable. It's illegal in California to take payment for services you won't render. Let's keep it real: Had I not demanded my money, they would've kept my money. That's not courtesy. That's theft. Even more outrageous? They publicly claimed there was no accusation of me receiving free training. When in fact, in their own email dated June 30, they explicitly wrote (Photos included below): "Whether formal or informal if you are working with a professional, you are receiving uncompensated services... Those sessions were not permitted." And again, you went even further: "Your complimentary workout sessions were not limited to one incident." That's direct accusation, twice. So which is it? Because if you're going to lie publicly, at least make sure it doesn't contradict your own written words. I'm embarrassed for you. I'll leave the emails here so you can refresh your memory. The receipts speak for themselves. Worst part, the harassment I reported was labeled "disruptive." Instead of addressing the behavior of their new general manager (who stalked me and gossiped about my personal life), they retaliated and victim blamed. It's abuse of power. It's ugly and disgusting behavior. And as for the wild claim that I make "malicious accusations across multiple businesses"? Go check my review history. I leave thoughtful 5-star reviews for businesses that treat people with respect. When I call out bad behavior, it's always backed by evidence, JUST LIKE this one. They're so upset I told the truth and didn't back down. Stay mad. Bottom line is: There was no inappropriate behavior on my part. I reported harassment. I asked for a refund after being charged while banned. I stood up for myself and they hate that. This gym does not care about member safety, their response doubles down on being dishonest, gaslighting, smearing and retaliating. I stand by every word of my original review and clearly I'm not alone. Now I have even more proof to support it. Screenshots available on other platforms if Yelp filters this.

The studio was also very appealing to the eye. Inside is clean, bathrooms were stocked with all the necessary items after a class, and the workout room itself was dark with red LED hues which made the class even better. Cade was the instructor that taught the class and he came in bringing all the right energy! His playlist was more of a bonus as it fit so well with the tempo of the class. Cade was able to introduce himself and allow all members to adjust/familiarize themselves with the equipment before starting the session. In addition, he recognized the new comers to the class which I thought was a nice touch towards the end which was definitely more encouraging and enticing to come back again. The class itself was super fast pace where you are alternating from the treadmill to the free weights section. When I went to the front desk to ask for a refund, the staff member was rude, dismissive, and spoke to me and my friends in a condescending manner, as if I didn't understand the process, even though I did exactly what was required. With the many health benefits of infrared saunas, the concept of combining them with fitness classes seemed like the perfect fit for me. UNIQUE STUDIO HOTWORX is a one-of-a-kind gym with multiple infrared saunas running virtual classes 24/7. A virtual instructor leads a variety of workouts, including barre, Pilates, yoga, stretching, cycling, rowing, and more. Each sauna can fit up to three people, but I've often had the sauna all to myself. The studio also has a small weightlifting area and a shower for those who need to get ready after their workout. Everything is well-maintained, clean, and inviting. AFFORDABLE MEMBERSHIP Because there are no live instructors, the membership cost is very reasonable - especially if you get someone else to join you. Just know that your first month will be the most expensive since you'll pay an enrollment fee and have to buy their sauna-specific equipment (like a yoga mat and towel). LOVE IT I've been a member for over two months now, and I'm hooked! The 24/7 class schedule makes it so easy to fit in a workout no matter how hectic my day gets. Plus, the staff is super friendly and the whole vibe of the place is just perfect. TLDR If you're curious about HOTWORX, your first class is free, so give it a try and see for yourself! It's a unique and affordable gym that offers infrared sauna workouts with a wide range of virtual classes, perfect for busy schedules. Highly recommended for anyone looking to combine fitness with the benefits of infrared heat.
