No matter whether I come in at 2 a.m. or 2 p.m., there are always dedicated people getting their workouts in. The membership fee is absolutely worth it for the convenience, accessibility, and quality of the facility. I've had a great experience so far!

It is clean, it has new and working equipment, the bathrooms are clean, and it seems peak time is around 5-6PM. The app will show you how many people are there in case you prefer to work at a quieter time. I have not done cardio on the elliptical or stair master, but you can wave your Apple watch against the treadmill and it'll automatically connect you which is helpful if you are tracking your calories and/or activities. + free weights area + turf area + smith machine + squat rack + cables + machines + kettlebells + wall balls + etc. The cleanliness of the gym, the fact that they are 24 hours, have an app (you also get in through your phone wallet), and when I go I don't have an issue with equipment availability. You pay twice a month and I'll say that the membership cost more than the other gyms but it's worth it for me. I will sign up once my 7 day pass expires.

And here's yet another five-star review for WESTCA…read more Like a lot of people, I spend far too much time sitting behind a computer. After a few meager attempts to get into an exercise routine, it became clear I would need to pay someone to kick my proverbial butt on a regular basis. I was excited to find a gym with such consistently great reviews nearby, and WESTCA absolutely lives up to the hype. I have a decent amount of experience with lifting and resistance training, but I also have some physical limitations, so the semi-private training format has been perfect for me. It provides the structure and accountability I was looking for while still meeting me where I am in terms of experience, fitness level, and physical capability. I've been training with Ivan, who consistently brings good vibes. His instructions are clear, he's quick to adapt exercises around physical limitations when needed, and he progresses training safely and thoughtfully with encouragement along the way. Progress has been steady, and I love feeling stronger and more energetic. As many other reviewers have mentioned, WESTCA is a smaller gym with a welcoming, low-pressure atmosphere. It's the kind of place that makes it easy to stay consistent. If you're looking for a gym, WESTCA is an easy recommendation.

I originally planned to train with Adam for just 3 months, but the amount of progress and muscle growth I saw in that short time was insane, so I decided to keep going. What makes Adam such a great trainer is how flexible and dedicated he is. I travel a lot and work a demanding software engineering job, but he's always willing to adjust schedules and make things work. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients and loves what he does. Even on days we don't train, he still checks in, gives me pointers, and helps me stay on track. He also does a great job tailoring workouts to your specific needs and constantly adds different exercise variations to keep things effective, challenging, and fun. Every workout feels personalized instead of repetitive. The gym itself is amazing too -- it has every piece of equipment you could possibly need, plus all the little extras that make training better. Everything is always incredibly clean and spotless, which makes the environment even more motivating to be in. On top of all that, Adam keeps workouts fun and motivating. We always have great conversations, and over time he's become more than just a trainer, he's become a friend too. Highly recommend him to anyone looking to level up their fitness.

I like this gym, it's a bit more like a club than purely a gym, but I don't really use the club…read morefacilities so the gym part is what I'm reviewing here. No tennis, no pool, no snack bar. Anyway, there are three key things for me when it comes to a gym. First is cleanliness, second is shower facilities, third is equipment. AVAC is a relatively small gym and I tend to go at off hours. This means not many people, so thankfully it's very clean inside. If you think about a 24 Hour Fitness or similar, they have hundreds of people constantly working out, there's no way to uphold hygiene standards. AVAC, despite being small, has frequent cleanings happening, which is nice. The showers at AVAC are... okay. On the plus side, they provide towels, which is a dealbreaker for me. Who wants to bring their own towel to a gym? So that's a big convenience factor. The towels have been bleached and washed to the point they are marginally more absorbent than copy paper and quite rough, but I guess a towel is a towel. The showers themselves are workable but not ideal. Communal in nature, which I personally find awkward, but going at off hours at least allows me to have them to myself or only 1-2 others at most. If it was packed I'd probably wait, it's just too weird. The shampoo and body wash are not very high quality, kind of reminds me of what you'd get at a cheap motel. But again, at least it's there. I also don't want to cart my own soap around. For the gym's size, the equipment variety and quantity is good. I've never not been able to get a treadmill, I've always been able to get the free weights I want, and there are usually benches available. The only thing in short supplies are squat racks, of which there are two, and space for deadlifts, which is basically also two. I would say the gym's clientele leans towards... not people doing those types of exercise. So I haven't typically had to wait, but again I also don't go at peak hours. There are also tons of machines, if you're the type of person who thinks isolation exercises are good. Better than nothing I suppose, but that's just me. AVAC offers a lot of free classes, of which I've taken none. They also have a snack bar, which I've never used. There's also a pool (not the swim school pool which is like 2.5' high) and a kiddie pool outside, neither of which I've been in. And there are tennis courts and pickleball and some outdoor fitness area, which, you guessed it, I have never been to. I wouldn't say AVAC is a destination gym the way Bay Clubs are, but if you're closeby it's probably the best one around. They also have plenty of parking in back in two lots.

AVAC's staff is always service with a smile. The young woman at the front desk with short hair and…read morea nose ring is always so friendly and welcoming and always remembers my name. I wish this place is 24/7 but they open at 6AM on the weekend and it's never packed to the point where you have to wait, so it's a win-win. Service is impeccable. I love their protein smoothie bar. I have tried their recovery zone and can say I had a relaxing time getting my back and legs massaged while I read my book. It was dim and quiet, but I was by myself. Someone did go into the room to use the massage gun for a few then left. As part of my 2026 goal, I am trying to claw my way back to my old self. I will prioritize my health this year, so I will stop by the recovery room often to unwind in the quiet. One thing I noticed is that you are not supposed to film here but I still see people setting up their tripod and/or flat out filming themselves and their clients which is somewhat annoying, but other than that I have had no complaints here.

What stood out to me most was the smaller group size and calmer environment. My son can sometimes get overstimulated in very large, chaotic camp settings, but Kids World felt much more manageable and supportive for him. He did really well there and even asked to stay longer, which says a lot. The director, Dasha was a joy to work with, extremely responsive, and very kind and communicated with me well. The staff seemed attentive, and I appreciated that the setting felt more personal than some larger camps. For children who do better with smaller groups, clearer structure, and a less overwhelming environment, Kids World is a great option. My son raved about the activities, especially the creative arts, he really enjoyed it! Overall, I felt very comfortable leaving my son there, and I'm grateful he had such a positive experience. Also shout-out to Ms. Leah for her amazing work ethic and great attitude. It's impressive that she knows so many of the members by their names and brings so much energy to the club.
