I had a great experience at Savvy Sliders. We ordered a variety of items - burgers, chicken tender sliders, falafel sliders, fries and chicken nuggets for catering at work. They provided a variety of sauces and delivered our food early. Everything exceeded expectations! The burgers were flavorful and cooked perfectly. The chicken tender sliders were crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the falafel sliders were a standout-perfectly seasoned with a great texture. The fries were hot and fresh, and the nuggets were a hit. What really tied everything together was as the selection of sauces - each one added something unique and made the whole meal even better. When this place first opened, they cooked the food while you waited, and the hamburgers and chicken fingers were delicious. The past couple years, they have really slid. The chicken fingers are dried up and hard, definitely reheated. They are certainly not worth $12 they charge for five small dried up chicken fingers. I stopped going. read more

A few years ago, I tried Savvy Sliders at the Telegraph location. I really liked it, super tasty. It sort of fell off my radar, fast forward to yesterday, we ordered from this location. We received our order from DoorDash. The order arrived hot and it all looked great. The order was packed nicely and it was correct. The food: the order consisted of two orders of spicy chicken nuggets with seasoned fries. The fries were great, the nuggets were not! Each one was super tough and the chicken had the oddest texture. They looked so good, fried golden brown, and the texture was such a turn off and they were pretty darn bad. The original Savvy slider was quite good and beef slider was ok, it had a strong meat taste and not appealing. A combo of some good and not so good. I am not sure if I would order again based on the chicken nuggets though. read more

I've stopped by this Savvy Sliders twice now. The first time, I did drive-thru and decided what I wanted when I arrived. This time, I ordered ahead of time and I wasn't sure if you could pick it up at the drive-thru or not but you could, which was good. Savvy Sliders is not my favorite slider place in the area (Sidecar, in downtown Farmington, is superior) but it hits the spot and is on the way home. They have a $3 for $10 deal which is pretty good... Otherwise most sliders are $3.50-4 each, except for the basic burger I got, which was $2.99. My husband and I took advantage of that deal, he got the slider with the egg on top (+$1 upcharge) and the Boom sauce chicken, and I got the new Thai fried chicken. I added the basic burger later since it was cheaper. I also added a side of cheese curds... Both times now the cheese curds have tasted a tiny bit spicy so I'm wondering if they cook them with their Cajun fries, but they are decent. The Thai chicken slider was very good but a bit too spicy for me. The regular burger was fine but I'm used to the pretzel buns at Sidecar so it was a little disappointing compared to that. They also have meal deals if you would like a combo with a drink, but since I was taking it home we didn't need drinks. Overall I would still stop by here again, the drive-thru was very fast. However, like I said above, it's not my favorite slider place in the neighborhood. read more

I have been meaning to try Savvy Sliders for awhile. We finally got the chance and selected this location. The people working here were incredibly friendly and helpful. They explained everything and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This space is a previous Mc Donald's. The seating is okay, not too many spots to sit, but I imagine it is mostly a carry-out or drive-thru business. We ordered three shakes, two chocolate and one strawberry shortcake. I liked the chocolate shake, it tasted like Mc Donald's to me, pretty thick and tasty. My child felt it did not look like the images on the wall and their menu. It looked more vanilla than chocolate and did not have a deep chocolate flavor. The strawberry was okay but my other child really liked it. Overall the shakes were good but were added as meal upgrades. Purchasing them separately they are a bit pricey for the size. The fries were really good. Not quite crispy enough, but a good flavor. I do like crinkle cut. The ranch was delicious. I liked that it was cold and seemingly homemade, at least not from a shelf stable bottle. I would probably get a second cup next time, it went quick and every last drop was finished. My child liked the BBQ sauce. I liked it, but overall I am not a BBQ fan. I liked that it was locally sourced from a place in Farmington Hills, which is where I was eating here. Using local businesses is a plus for me. Another bonus is offering sweet potato fries. They were good and fairly crispy with the soft chew expected with this type of fry. Please do not get rid of these since they are a family favorite. I tried a chicken tender meal. It gave Raising Cane's vibes. The chicken had some good juicy crunchiness and came with the Texas toast bun almost exactly the same as Cane's. It was really good, I would get that again for sure. That was probably about the same price as Cane's as well. For fast food, it was a quality chicken tender. We ordered a variety of sliders. I got the Angus cheeseburger. I loved it, the flavor of the meat plus toppings were perfect. The chicken one was fair and the steak-um one was good. I personally would go for the chicken tenders again before the chicken slider. The only problem was the price. It was about $4.00 for a small burger bite even though it was very flavorful. The price factor is the only real issue. You do not get a huge amount of food for your money. But I would visit here again and get more of my main orders plus try some other items. I would love to try the cheese curds and fish slider. I would try their sweet tea and lemonade. The service was good too. They brought us the food and made it a nice experience. read more

Great Fast Food! It's a nice alternative from the "just burger place" or the "just chicken" places out there now. Wide variety of sandwich choices. Fries are crinkle cut and crispy and can come with a few different seasoning options. Shakes are super good with lots of variety. Staff is kind and food comes out quick. Young man came to check on us to make sure we didn't need anything and make sure the order was right. It's slightly pricier than your standard chain rest. but I think it's worth it. Soda machine had very few options, most were out/empty/broken? but that's the only negative thing we encountered at the Farmington location. I ordered the combo with chicken strips and sliders with no lettuce and tomato and onion rings, my husband ordered three sliders plain with sweet potato fries on the side. I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt since they are new and were really busy (he waited almost an hour to get food despite ordering ahead online). Our entire order was wrong. He got all the toppings and sauce on his sliders and I got lettuce and tomato on mine. I didn't mind as much since I could pick them off, but my husband doesn't like any sauce on his burgers so he ended up eating my chicken, which were okay... The sliders were also only okay. Nothing special. For how expensive this place was (almost $40 for two meals and a side of fries), and how mediocre the food was, I don't foresee us coming back. Got a variety of sliders as take out. The hamburgers were cooked to hockey pucks and dry as sand. The chicken sliders were OK but like ALL of the sliders, toppings were hit or miss. Some got the pickle, lettuce and sauce, some did not. The fish sliders were probably the best, but again some were completely missed by the toppings gods. This is my first time at a Savvy Slider, which is a chain fast food place. I did drive through. Loving fish I asked how it was and was told it was good. The fish came deep fried and I got two for about $8.50. I was surprised that I'd have any problems with cooking or sauces given its a chain. First - and I don't remember reading this on the board - the sauce is spicy. Not my first pick for a mild fish. Second, the buns were tough and one of my fish filets were not breaded and not completely cooked and it tasted fishy - not good! At first I thought I had grabbed some of the wrapper in a bite! And there were still some scales on the skin. In the trash for you!!! That given I MIGHT try it again because it's a new store in the area, but not the fish. If the fish is not perfect by now just remove it from the menu. read more

After being excited about this placing opening but after today I was severely disappointed. To start $24.99 for two sliders two fries a shake and a large Pepsi (WHICH I NEVER GOT) is way overpriced!!!! The sliders were tough and the pickle was over powering. Barely any onions and the ketchup was way too sweet. Immediately rushed to order and couldn't even get get a proper greeting. No hi how are you may I take your order and not even a simple have a nice day. I will not be going back here. I'm much better off buying White Castle and get a crave case for the same price!!! We've been eagerly awaiting the opening of this place, and we were not disappointed! We liked the options, and the place looks great. We went inside to order. We ordered four different types of sliders and a drink, and they ended up giving us another drink free because it was our first time there. When we got home, we discovered we got an extra side of fries and an extra slider, so not complaining there! The fries were not quite warm enough unfortunately, but the taste was alright. The sliders themselves were very tasty. The pop was fresh. It took a little longer to get our order than one would expect for a place such as this, but we do understand they are brand new and still working things out.
