The worst. I went it on June 18 to get acrylic nails and things started feeling a little fishy to me when the tech asked me if I wanted "the clear gel on top of the color. So the color stays on." Top coat. It's called top coat. Anyway, to sum it up, I had a fishy feeling about the whole thing. And sure enough, when I washed my hair two days later my hair was already getting stuck under the nails. My real nails had also grown out enough that I could have gone back in for a fill after only like five days. Then a nail broke after barely a week had passed AND the nail polish started rubbing off after a week, something that's never happened to me before with acrylic nails. Lastly, the nails were thin as all get out. I've gotten acrylic nails probably at least a dozen times in my life, so I can confidently say that if they are applied WELL, all the problems I listed above happened well after two weeks of wearing them, if you don't go in and have them filled. You will also not need to go have them filled for two weeks if they are done right. I might as well have gotten store bought fake nails put on, it would have been cheaper. I at least expect crumminess from those. Needless to say, but I'm going to say it anyway, I won't be going back there again. read more

don't go here! they were rude, did a terrible job with my nails, and overcharged me. after showing them a picture of the french tips i liked, i asked how much more they would be than a regular set and the guy told me $5 more (the sign also says 40 for regular gel set, 45 for french tip gel set) but when i gave them my card they charged me $60 (plus tip) and when i asked why it wasn't $5 more like he told me earlier and what was on the sign he said "the type of french tips you wanted are extra because they take longer" even though he knew what i wanted when he told me they were only $5 more. also they were just normal french tips, no design or anything so i don't what "type" he was talking about. they refused to fix the charge and were rude the whole time even before this. read more

I have had good experiences here. I have visited twice for a pedicure. The pedicure itself was enjoyable with a paraffin treatment and a decent exfoliation and the polish stayed on for ages. Weeks, with no chipping at all. The price was good. I am surprised others had such bad experiences - maybe I lucked out but I will be going back. read more

I had them do a basic pedicure. A couple days later 3 of the polishes had come off. I went in and they redid them. A day later 2 more polishes came off. I went in to get a refund. They refused telling me that for all they knew I was out "kicking rocks"! Got a pedicure, it took less than 10 min!! Male employee did a very poor job. Either he was not trained to do pedicures or he does not care for his job. When asked why he didn't cut any cuticle he said he would cute cuticles "later", poor filing after trimming 4 of my 10 toes, did not do a good buff job. A female employee had to take over and clean nails like it is supposed to be done. This was an inconvenience for me. I got a deluxe pedicure, manicure and eyebrow wax for $63. My toes look great, my nails look great, my eyebrows look great. So why 3 stars? It wasn't relaxing. I have had MANY pedicures in my day, and this is by far the WORST pedicure I have ever received. The technician was getting my shellac off my toes and burned me, followed by never washing my feet off with clean water, using DIRTY tools, the massage was slapping lotion on and pulling it off with a hot towel. I am extremely disappointed in the service I received I was really excited because this was my first pedicure ever and I'm going on vacation so I want to get my pedicure So I made sure I called and made an appointment because I wanted to get gel and the lady had to schedule me at six so when I got there I had to wait 15 minutes and when it was my turn I told the lady if I could do gel and she "said no I don't have time.I would do pedicure for you today"as if she is doing me a favor and I'm not a paying customer with an appointment. and she also told me that if I wanted to get gel that I need to call and make an appointment and when I told her that I did make an appointment and she was the one that booked me she just say "I don't have time!" To make this short she only pretty much just painted my toenails she didn't even takeoff the dead skin on the bottom of my foot! I also told her that I was a little nervous because this is my first pedicure and I don't like people touching my feet! Yes it's cheap but so is the quality. If you want to get acrylic nails DO NOT go here. The shaping and laying of the acrylic is done quickly and poorly. If you are wanting a design, think twice because it will not come out how you want it to. I walked out of the salon feeling as though I could have done a better job myself... and in fact came home and had to touch up my nails and toes so they looked halfway decent. Neither the person who did my mani or pedi was personable or talkative, and they had a hard time understanding what I was asking for. Definitely not returning here. This is a little overdue. As this happened about year ago. 2 stars is not about the quality of the work, but their incredibly bad customer service. I was getting a pedicure, when another customer walked over to, I suppose, tHe owner, and stated that the person giving her a pedicure had been very rude to her. Not sure what. The owner did nothing to apologize, AND then, just when the customer left, she and another employee started speaking , in Vietnamese, I guess, and laughing, like it was all some big joke. I went here last saturday for a full set. I don't really wear fake nails but I wanted my hands to look feminine. I dropped my husband off at work and called them to see if they had an opening. One of the ladies said yes and to come in now. I skipped my morning Coffee Cravings so I can be on their time since they were nice enough to take me. Well...I showed up and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about...Yes I even checked the sign again and the number. The guy, who everyone wants to do their nails, rushed me and kept telling other customers "5 more minutes" and hardly gave any conversation. In the end, the nail color was too light, the nails were too bulky and obviously looked fake, and some of my nails dont have the sameosh length. I gave them a $5 even though they didnt deserve it. I have been a Savvy customer for almost four years and I am very happy to be one. This family run business is always clean and always doing things to improve. It is staffed by lovely kind people who work seven days a week, remember my name and what I like down to the color I used six months ago. Prices are reasonable and leave me happy to leave a bigger tip. I try to make appointments so they know when to expect me, but they do a great job with walk ins as well, often skipping meals in order to take care of customers. I appreciate how hard they work and love the way they make me feel pampered. read more

First of all I would like to say the guy who did my nails was incredibly rude, was in a rush and had horrible attitude. As he was filling my nails I noticed the corner tip of my nail was cracked and as I was looking at it, he snapped at me and said "if you touch it and it breaks then you are going to have to pay for the whole nail" very rudely. The guy was so rude and disrespectful the whole time. I had a terrible experience and will NEVER go back there again and also letting all my friends know how bad it was so they will be losing a ton of service. Friend & I went in for mani & pedi. My massage chair wasn't working (the chair is half the fun of a pedi!). They also sat us apart - the point of going in together is to hang out. Her water was scalding and mine was cold. They went to work on her right away and left me to sit in the cold water. Worst pedicure ever. They were so bad that we decided to skip the manis completely and just leave. Also their place is dirty. Never going back again. If you want a good pedi go to No 1 nails in the Plaza way shopping center - but make an appointment cause the shop is small so it fills up and you end up going somewhere awful like Savy. read more

I have been to this place a couple of times, but have always gotten a mediocre mani or pedi. The last time I went for a pedi, they were able to take four of us right away because the place was deserted. I got a major attitude from the guy who did my pedi. He kept giving me really dirty looks and shaking his head because I could not keep my toes still enough for him. He also would stop and watch tv or check his phone. They also charged full price pedicure for my niece who is only 2 1/2 years old. All they did was paint her nails and they charged full price. It was outrageous. My daughter and I both went here today and he service was horrible. I felt it was a rush. Rushed to get me seated and finished. Very rude. Practically shoving my hands in and out of the gel heater. When she was cutting my cuticles she was rough and it was not a Pleasant feeling. It actually hurt and burned when she put lotion on my hand and some other solution. Today was the first time I have ever been to Savvy Nails. I don't have my nails done a lot but I don't think I will use Savvy again. The place just isn't very clean. They put something blue in the soak water and ran the bubbles in the foot soak. The lady who was doing my pedi brought tools in a little tray with her that were not soaking in a cleaning solution and I am betting all of it had already been used on someone else since it was cleaned. The floor and tray of my chair were very dirty. They did a nice job on the polish and accent, but again tools were not cleaned between uses. This place is cheap but not worth the risk. My husband and I were on the tail end of a 3-week road rip. We were interested in (and needed) a manicure and pedicure. We tried a couple of other places that were full and ended up at Savy. We had a truly delightful experience. Our pedicures were wonderful, very professional. There was a good variety of colors and polishes I have terrible cuticles and the nail technician was quite good and thorough, yet gentle. The salon was clean and nicely appointed. There was lovely meditative music playing and although a television was on, the sound was turned off. The staff was very friendly. We would definitely recommend Savy. read more

I had the worst pedicure ever there. The women doing my pedicure was awful, I am doubting that she even has a license. While trying to trim my nails she cut me twice. The polish job was extremely sloppy. To make matters worse it was extremely dirty. I will never go there again!!!!! read more

Not the worst, but close. I went with a friend to get pedis for both of us and a mani for myself. They sit us both down in the spa chairs, and one of the techs begins to work on my friend. I kept looking and waiting for someone to greet me, but notsomuch. After close to ten minutes, a woman sat down and went to work. Mediocre pedi, nothing special. Then, when it was time for my mani, the guy sits me down at a station and proceeds to CHECK HIS PHONE for text messages about every five minutes. I don't need to sit around and pretend to chitchat, but if I recall, I'm paying for a service, not to be ignored. As for the quality, the mani chipped the next day, and the pedi lasted a good couple of weeks. Thankfully, another friend recommended #1 Nails down by Safeway on 9th, and although "Savy" (I think ya might be missing a "v," no?) Nails is a newer, nicer looking salon, #1 Nails are where it's at.
