After having been spoiled by stylists from La Jolla, to Manhattan Beach to Pasadena, CA, after relocating to the PNW, I started my search in Portland. After a few failed attempts in coordinating appointments at top salons in Portland (they rescheduled and then I had to reschedule, then they rescheduled), I asked a colleague where she had just gone (her coloring looked fantastic). She referred me to Nico Bella. I called and immediately got an appointment with Wendee. Located in downtown Camas, I have always been able to find a parking spot within a block. Its a cute little shop that offers other treatments (I have used the manicurist, too). Once having my hair done by Wendee, I have never wandered. It's refreshing to have a stylist give you an honest opinion when experimenting with a new hairdo or look. Plus, I look forward to escaping the hectic work day to her quiet salon and leaving revitalized. As if that wasn't enough, during Covid, she has developed the best salon safety protocols hands down. I have sent multiple family members to visit her salon, feeling assured that she follows so many safety protocols. Plus, family members have left feeling the way I do. This is updated review as I originally had a bad experience with the staff "response" to me and the…read moresubscription plan, I had signed up for back in May of 2025. I sincerely did not fully understanding the contract I signed up for. I took a nonchalant approach to the subscription plan and had prepaid for "4" services at $89.95 (monthly) without ever using them so when I came to collect, they were so focused on my payment not going through (I changed my debit card for fraud reasons) that it seemed as though they did not desire to help me. Note, had they treated me differently, I may have provided my updated debit card for future subscription. When I requested to make the four appointments that I had already paid for, I was told they were booked out for over a month and at that point, I could see the staff member did not desire to help me and so in frustration, I walked out. After this unpleasant encounter I was send the contract to "officially" cancel the subscription and told I had 60 days to use those four prepaid services. I would like to point out when I signed up, I was told...."You can cancel the subscription plan at any time." It was not as though I purchased something and then defaulted, I prepaid for services not yet rendered. I called in a few weeks later and was able to book those four appointments and come to find out they were not booked out for over a month but had same day appointments available. The actual facials were great and those I can highly recommend, very enjoyable and my skin looked amazing however, I cannot recommend the subscription plan which should be on a 30 day billing cycle and if a payment doesn't go through and you received the reason from the bank as fraud then auto cancel the subscription, it is that simple!

I was feeling pretty discouraged with my skin, but Anna let me know she would provide suggestions that would help (not in a 'sales' type of way). One product she highly recommended, she gave me an in-depth tutorial on how to use it, how it should feel, how my skin would react, etc. Throughout the facial she checked to see if I was having any tingling (reaction) before moving on to the next step. I left with generous samples and suggestions, with Anna saying she would note my file for next time I visit. My skin has never felt so nourished! It was an amazing facial and I can't wait to return to see Anna. Oh, and the neck & scalp rub were amazing!!
