She is listed as a Level I Stylist on the website but I had a good feeling about her. She immediately understood what I was trying to accomplish with my hair. I have curly/wavy hair and I like to wear it curly or blown out sometimes and it has been hard to find someone here who could create the style I wanted. I've even gone as far as to get my haircut on long layovers with my previous stylist in AZ! Cydney totally exceeded my expectations. She had the most gentle energy about her and knew what I was trying to say immediately. I finally feel like myself again! I am so grateful that I finally found someone who "gets it". The only reason I didn't give 5 starts is because some of the other stylists were talking some smack about other customers which always makes me wonder what they could be saying about me when I am not there but Cydney didn't participate in it and that earned her even more respect in my eyes. Can't wait to see her again for my next cut!

Unacceptable behavior on part of the Salon staff to stick that on my vehicle. I'm disabled and live my life in 100 percent pain, now I have to spend my time removing this sticker. They should be ashamed of themselves, harassing a disabled person this way.

She is exceptionally skilled and so importantly, all products are organic! Considering that what goes on our hair and scalp gets absorbed into our bodies, it only makes sense to minimize, whenever possible, chemical exposures in hair/skin care. Organic salons are not frequent in places away from big city centers, so I feel very fortunate to be able to go to Stacy. She is exceptional, products she uses are healthy, and she has been good at listening to what I want and creating the best style and color for me. Besides that, she is just a really nice person to talk with and she has a calming presence. Now that organic hair care is available, I would never go to a chemical based salon and I cannot recommend her enough!

My first criteria in getting my hair colored is finding a cruelty-free vegan option and Bambu delivered on that - they use Organic Coulour Systems color. Stacy did an outstanding job in producing a vibrant but natural blonde. She was welcoming and personable. Often when you have a new stylist the conversation can be stilted but there was no awkwardness at all. I appreciated that it was done in a reasonable amount of time; not rushed in the least but I wasn't there for hours on end. She was the ultimate professional. The salon could not have been cuter or more relaxing. I can't recommend Bambu enough and can't wait to return!!

Her calm demeanor and respectful approach made the entire experience truly exceptional. I was super nervous and told the hairstylist that I have a lot of anxiety around getting my hair done because last time I went, the hairstylist cut it way too short. I was explicit that I wanted my hair to stay long and just needed to trim the dry ends and maybe add some layers. Here's the sample photo I showed her, and this is what she gave me. I told her pretty much right away that it was too short, but it was too late at that point and it needed to be evened out. I get married in two months and have to completely change the hairstyle I envisioned for my wedding day now. Hairstylist told me multiple times that "hair grows back" which is the last thing you want to hear from your hairdresser. She gave me zero layers, when I reminded her I wanted layers she said she'd text me and let me come back another time for free to add them in but she never texted me. I'm not dropping her name because she's young and starting her career, but I am absolutely devastated by this. My hair was so special to me and with my wedding coming up so soon this is truly a nightmare. I was charged the full amount for the haircut even though she knew I wasn't happy.

I booked with Hannah online and mentioned I have thick long hair and wanted a chop for summer. I've never been to this salon before, but know from past experience it's important to note thick hair while booking. Their online booking system requires the stylist to "okay" the appointment, so someone must have seen the note about thick hair. At other salons, most stylists will see the note and book out an extra 45 mins..or call to reschedule with an additional block of time. This never happened and lead to maybe the worst salon experience I've ever had? Hannah started cutting my hair, and was a quarter way through before she mentioned I'd have to leave with wet hair due to time constraints. I wish she would have been honest and up front and I would have rescheduled or found a new salon for a cut that would include a blow dry + style. She shampooed my hair for less than 4 minutes and everything just felt so rushed! I was expecting to see another client waiting for her but that was not the case. I was in and out of the salon in less than an hour. She gave me her card so I could contact her if the layers dried funny or looked bad...so off I left with wet hair and a potential hack job of a haircut. I don't recommend this place, I got in my car and cried. I expect to leave a salon feeling beautiful and that just didn't happen!

I've been to this salon twice to have hair extensions done by LaRae…read more Salon Rating: 4/5 stars. You have to pay for street parking but there is a decent view of the park across the street. The salon was clean. Service Rating: 1/5 stars. I've never had hair extensions before and wanted to try them since I had an event coming up. I did a consult with LaRae through text. She recommended I buy my extensions down in Portland where the shop would help match me. She recommended I buy at least 2 packs of extensions. When I went to her recommended store they were not very helpful. I bought 3 packs of extensions as I have thick hair which was A-line cut. The first time she did my tape-in extensions I'd give her 3.5/5 stars. I asked her to blend the extensions by cutting my hair and the extensions (in the front around my face) so it wasn't so obvious. She also told me afterwards that I'd only be able to curl my hair and not wear it straight. She informed me of how to care for my extensions which turned out NOT to be the way extensions should be maintained. By the time my 7 week return appointment came a handful of extensions had fallen out and those that remained had slipped. For the 2nd appointment, LaRae showed up 10minutes late. Halfway through my appointment she realized she'd double booked herself. Rather than explain to the other client, she rushed through my hair and only put 2 1/4 of the packs of extensions in, left my hair damp and she did not style it so it looked terrible. Absolutely TERRIBLE. I went to another stylist about a week later because my hair was THAT bad. I only wish I'd done more research. LaRae should NOT offer tape in extensions until she actually learns how to correctly install them and advise clients how to properly maintain them. The new stylist I found was only able to salvage 1/2 of my remaining pack. Meaning I had to throw away nearly 2 1/2 packs of extensions (about $375 worth of hair!) because they were damaged by me being misinformed how to maintain them from LaRae. The new stylist also had extensions in her salon so she could perfectly match my color. After installing, the new stylist BLENDED the front of my hair that I'd asked Larae to do and she clearly didn't know how to. The other stylist also provided the correct way to maintain and gave me a starter kit to properly maintain extensions that included: shampoo, conditioner, a specific brush, and satin scrunchies. I left a review and LaRae did refund the cost of her service without me asking but this experience costed nearly $400 in extensions that were supposed to get up to 6 installs and only got me 2. A hard and expensive lesson to learn.

The staff is friendly, upbeat, and works so well together, which makes every visit feel relaxed and enjoyable.
