    Chicken panang

This review is for my takeout order. Cute interior and service was prompt. My chicken panang was good. Nice spice, good chicken, veg, sauce ratio. I'd say their price was a bit high for the portion size.

    Pad Thai drowning in sauce

This was hands down the worst pad Thai I've ever had in my life. We did order take out, so I will say the packaging likely affected the dishes. The noodles were incredibly gelatinous, the sauce was sickeningly sweet, and the dish was sopping wet.

I have to say this is the best Thai I've had in a while! Now I did order delivery so I can't speak to service but... The food was Soo good. The crab Rangoon was nice and crispy and had plenty of stuffing. The pad Thai, with sweet potato noodles was a surprise but a very pleasant one. Huge serving (IMHO) I got 3 meals out of it. Food was packaged up nicely, with care. There was a doily under the Rangoon! Aluminum under the pad Thai so it was nice and hot (I'm 20 mins away) Found a new Thai spot!

Inside is nice set up and they say that you can choose where ever you want.

Had a taste for sushi rolls, & came across this place. They had a good selection of food options for my hubby and I. Prices were pretty decent too. Once we came, they let us know we can sit wherever we want. It was a Sunday afternoon, so there were about four other groups there. It's about a small to medium size restaurant and it didn't feel crowded to me. This restaurant is in the same plaza as the Korean BBQ restaurant which we have also been to before. There was quite a bit of options of Thai dishes that were meat and seafood for both of us. I picked out the steamed mussels under the apps and asked for a side of rice which was free. Also I had a crunchy roll. They were both very good. The rolls look like a lot of rolls. They slice them smaller. My husband had the pad kee mao (drunken noodles with beef) His dish was very good as well and had a good amount of meat. Our server was nice, as well as the others that worked there. We would definitely be back. I would love to come during lunch time during the week since their menu for lunch had a good variety. The lunch menu is not served on the weekend. I would love to try their other seafood options here. They seem to have more compared to other places.

I like some of the year my main favorite dish Lad Nad and yum squid salad. The service is excellent. I normally go for lunch. When you go there for lunch, they give you soup and egg roll.

I've eaten here a handful of times and have ordered take out before. It's just okay, definitely not to my taste. The food doesn't have enough flavor for me and the pad Thai is overly sweet. Sushi that my friend ordered was okay the last time we were here. Service is friendly but a bit slow the times we were in. Prices are fair, they are not as expensive as other restaurants in the area.

Roll was good. First time ever getting a Pad Thai of this color and taste. Bland food and chicken was dry. 2 stars since they have me a free spring roll that was good.

Unfortunately I was looking to replace my favorite Thai place that I had been dining at since moving to Pinellas Park. I don't think this place will suffice. Though wonderful staff, clean and reasonably priced. The actual food was a mere satisfactory experience. Was missing the burst of flavors Thai food usually have. My veggie Thai fried was good but would have been better if I received it Thai hot like requested. Not sure what type of spring veggie rolls I got. But the chewy wrapping was a definite miss for me. Maybe the meat items are best? That you will have to experience for yourself.

Looking for a nice clean local Thai restaurant...this is the place. The staff immediately greeted me and were smiling and delightful. The sushi chef allowed me to let her be the choice. I went with a Spicy Tuna Hand roll and a California hand roll. They were both fresh and presented well. I also chose the Tom Yum Sum Bok soup ...Thai Hot ...heavenly and hot as hell!! I finished with Pad Thai....it was Thai-riffic! Sawatahdee is new ...make it stay!

This place was so cute and absolutely delicious! There were so many great options on their menu and even vegan friendly options! Everything tasted amazing and the food came out at a nice time. I totally licked the plate clean lol. I recommend this Thai restaurant!!

I accidentally passed the thai place I was on my way to and was too lazy to u-turn when I saw this one and pulled in, it was meant to be! I ordered a to-go noodle dish pad sea-eaw and Pam was super sweet I couldn't decide on the protein she said her favorite was the beef but I could pick a combo if I wanted. I stuck with her suggestion and it was A. So much food, B. So delicious and C. The right choice there was tons of beef and it was tender, flavorful, and SAUCYYY. It was ready in less than 10 minutes and the noodles were perfectly chewy (oftentimes too done when to-go from other spots with similar dishes) while the veggies were nice and crisp. I enjoyed it so much I came back to dine-in a few days later-Christmas day actually, where the server helped me choose a few new items to try. I've had chicken tom kha gai soup but never with shrimp, there were 4 or 5 Huge juicy shrimp in my little cup and it was HIGHLY recommended. I also had the Nam Sod 8/10 which can be adjusted for spice level, lots and lots of onion as a warning for those on a date with someone other than Shrek. I had the Arizona roll which is the only time I've ever had sushi that had whole fish bones inside, after my second piece with a thick full fish bone in the yellowtail I politely let the server know I was good on that and he was sweet enough to remove it from the bill before presenting it. I imagine this was probably a once off fluke so not deducting a star for a whoopsie doopsie.

Baby octopus salad is uncommon- glad it was on menu. House salad with ginger dressing was fresh. Shrimp pad Thai noodles was southern style--which is not my favorite. Others in the my group had chicken wings and basil beef-- and they were good. Service was excellent. Restaurant was clean.

Went because of yelp reviews and it didn't disappoint! The restaurant was clean and the staff was very nice! Ordered the crab Rangoon and the dragon roll, and my mom ordered the dynamite roll. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful! Very fresh sushi rolled right in house! Lots of options to choose from so will definitely be going back to try more from the menu!

That said, all of their sushi looked incredible and they come here all the time because they love it all, especially the out of this world roll and the perpetual love roll, which I think they got like 8 of between the 3 of them. They even finished off with dessert like fried cheesecake and fried Oreos. I had unagi sushi, ahi tuna nigiri, a yellowtail roll, and some miso soup. I thought the fish was great! Definitely would come back. I wish I tried one of the specialty rolls but wasn't hungry enough this time. Keep in mind if you're at a table with AYCE but you're not participating, you can't munch off their food. The value for the AYCE price is pretty fantastic though, if you're planning to order 3+ rolls or 2 and a couple apps!

Some sushi items still lean a little heavy on the rice, but you can easily balance that out by ordering sashimi instead. They have also expanded the menu quite a bit recently, which was a pleasant surprise. The standout addition for me is the sea scallop. It is seriously good and has become one of my favorite things to order here. I usually end up getting several portions of it. They also added amaebi sweet shrimp, though the pieces are a little on the smaller side. Other additions worth mentioning are the crab rangoon, which I definitely recommend, along with torched salmon and a coconut shrimp specialty roll. Overall, I am really enjoying the newer fish cuts and expanded add on selections. In my opinion, it is a tremendous upgrade from where they were before. Overall ambiance remains the same, but there's no need to change anything there as the food and service speaks for itself.

There were three generous pieces to the order. Then we had the hand rolls/tacos. Kelsey got them from "the other side" of the restaurant because they weren't in the lounge menu and I asked about them. They were small but shockingly filling. Loved them. I got the salmon ponzu and my friend got the spicy salmon. We both loved what we got. Then we got the scallop w/caviar. She asked about wanted nigiri versus sashimi and we opted for no rice. It was amazing. I highly recommend. Then we did the district roll and the dragon roll, both were great and different. I forgot to mention I am not a spicy fan and that the spicy could be in the side. Otherwise perfect. We ended with the Peking duck roll. Also delicious! But we were stuffed by this point. Marisol, the chef, was very creative in her presentation. Every dish was a work of art. The salmon lover roll was absolutely delicious as well had a nice fruity flavor along with it. And lastly, we originally came for the hand rolls (which are no longer on the menu) but they made an exception for us and they were phenomenal. Nickel City Sushi in Pinellas Park was honestly just meh. They cannot even get the rice right. It tasted like typical Vietnamese rice with little to no rice vinegar and it was dry. That alone sets the tone for the rest of the meal. My friends originally told me to check out the buy one get one roll deal during happy hour. I guess I waited too long because now it is simply two rolls for twelve dollars, which is only a small two dollar savings. The shrimp tempura roll was fried nicely and still crispy, so that was a plus. The salmon tuna roll was fine, nothing special. A little avocado or cucumber would go a long way in adding texture and flavor. I did like that the rolls came in eight pieces instead of the usual six. They sprinkle a tiny bit of masago and sesame seeds on the outside of the rolls. That should really only be mentioned on the menu for allergy reasons because the amount is so small. Yet they list it like it is some kind of bonus, which is a stretch. We also ordered the fried egg rolls, which came out piping hot, but they were small and skimpy at two for five dollars. The wrapper was too thick and the inside was too dry. I know several places that offer three large egg rolls for the same price. For an old school looking bar, they have a decent sized parking lot and ample amount of tv's if you want to see some sports. They have a few pool tables, variety of arcade and slots, along with a ton of dart boards (both traditional and electronic). Its a low key vibe of old locals for the most part. So far, I am not overly impressed with the food. I might consider coming back to try some of their other dishes like pho. Prices are not too bad, the service was quick and friendly, and the drinks were crazy cheap. If I do end up returning, it would probably be for the cheap beer more than anything else.
