The garlic and pepper chicken was so amazing, the sauce was perfect. We sat outside and had our pup with us and they were very friendly.

This is one of my fave Thai restaurants. I can go on & on about how great this place is but I think you should go check it out for yourself ASAP, if you haven't been there & love Thai food. The surrounding gardens & ambience, the romantic lighting, the graceful service, the food, oh la la.. This is the oldest Thai place, the first that ever opened in downtown St. Petersburg. The lady/owner that works here is a very elegant Asian woman that knows how to run a restaurant business. THE SERVICE IS PHENOMENAL. She does it Asian style all the way. Everything is well thought out, created, presented & served with elegance, grace & purpose. The HOT sake is even served the traditional way with a tiny napkin tied around the neck, we LOVE it with the tied napkin served the traditional way. This is the way it's done folks. OuiOui. The Thai hot papaya salad is fabulous. If you ask for THAI HOT here be prepared for THAI HOT BABY. This thai lady no play either. Ouchie. OuiOui. LOL And the pork satay with the peanut dipping sauce she makes is one of the best things I ever ate. We have no idea how she makes them, but they are SUPERB. The best ones we have ever had :)... Also, this is the only thai restaurant that I have found that makes the baby blue crab. If you have not tried the baby blue crab that this place makes you do not understand what you are missing folks. The baby blue crab is a MUST ORDER. AND, and this is the big one. This thai restaurant makes the best grouper cheeks Dish I have ever had in my life. Sir Hubbers & I both agree, "Siam Garden" is the place to be. Highest Recommendations.

Three of us tried Siam Garden. There are so many Thai restaurants in the region. Siam Garden has an interesting menu, offering some entrees Ive not seen on other menus. I settled on something called Thai Chili Jam. It was described as veggies in a red chili sauce. I found it to be watery & actually rather dull. Another at the table had green curry tofu which was superb. And another had sweet & sour tofu which was also excellent. The restaurant was clean & the staff was very good.

We came to eat for lunch midday on a Saturday. It wasn't that busy, but there were a few tables of Thai women who were chatting. I got the massaman curry and thought it was very filling. The waitress was friendly and attentive.

I have driven past this place for years and can't believe I waited so long to go. Authentic decor and the staff are amazing! I ordered the crab rangoons, pan seared dumplings, and shrimp pad Thai (forgot to take a picture sadly). The crab rangoons were delicious! Unique from others with maybe a touch of curry I think. The dumplings were great! Pad Thai was very good! Big shrimp! Would definitely recommend and come back!

Absolutely incredible. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Finally tried it after living here for 5 years and I'm so impressed. They have two rooms for an intimate dining experience. Not many Thai restaurants around here offer a true Massaman curry and they knocked it out of the park. June was so sweet and helpful! My boyfriend's pallet is so soft so his mild spice was still too spicy so she gave him some rice to help cut the spice down. It worked and we both left very happy. Thanks June! We will we back!

Hey you beautiful person !!! Yes you reading this review , thank you for stopping by. Siam garden is one of my go to Thai spots let me explain. The lady working there has the patience of a monk!! I remember taking about 7 minutes to order my food. If you know me well, I am a pretty indecisive eater but only because the freaking menu is amazing okay!! COOK YOUR CATCH Okay now that I have your attention, this is when you bring your own fish to the restaurant and they cook it for you. Siam garden does it 3 ways chili basil, garlic, and curry sauce. I picked for garlic this time and it was like a garlic bomb had exploded in my mouth. It's a bit on the saltier side but still very delicious. I think I'll opt for curry next time because that tends to be less salty and more balanced due to the coconut milk. I've had the panang curry here and it is insane. I lost the photo but I can assure you the aroma, flavor and sweetness of the coconut milk will have you devouring this amazing curry. The house made crab Rangoon's are also great and the sweet plum sauce that comes on the side gives that sweet/savory umami we all love. The drunken noodles are authentic as it gets because they are supposed to be spicy. The heat level is for more experienced spice enthusiasts, lots of Thai basil flavor it's a proper drunken noodle. I highly recommend Siam garden for any Thai food lovers and if you see me there please say hi , let's eat together. Ciao!!!

Have not been here a long while, service is good, food portion is big, but both dishes are very salty.

Siam Garden has been around for a long time, for a reason. The service is familiarly friendly, even at first welcome. Dine-in has been reconfigured over time, with plentiful outdoor seating on the covered patio. Just like all local Thai restaurants, there are specialty dishes and dishes to avoid. Order: 1. Papaya Salad- perfectly seasoned, not too much fish sauce. They are not stingy with peanuts either. 2. Crab Rangoon- these are the airy and crispy variety with curry seasoned cream cheese. 3. Curry- My favorite being the Penang curry. My only complaint is the veggies added are just onion and bell peppers. Ask for more veg. Don't Order- 1. Drunken Noodles- A gelatinous brick of what is supposed to be a noodle with black bits on the bottom. 2. Cucumber salad- because it is mostly thick chunks of white onion 3. Sticky Rice Desserts- i love me some sticky rice dessert! But, the rice is so old and hard that is reambles more of a rice gummy bear. Had to cut it with scissors.

Just moved to the area and was hoping to find a restaurant serving some quality Thai food. I worked a long day and decided on some delivery from Siam Garden. What a pleasant surprise! I started with the fresh rolls and let me just say the peanut dipping sauce was incredible! The pad Thai had a perfect sauce to noodle ratio whereas some pad thai dishes are either soggy or dry. The portion size was fairly large and after eating the fresh rolls, I was able split the pad thai into two servings. Can't wait to try some other things on the menu next time!

We had another great dining experience at this Thai restaurant in St. Petersburg. We sat at the outside patio. Everything is always delicious.

Our food orders: - Tomyum wings. It's a big "YUCK", the wings were fresh, however, not so good on seasoning. They just put some Tomyum spice on the top of the wings and the meat inside was extremely bland. Also, no dipping sauce provided. - Tear tiger salad. We thought it would come with some grilled beef, however, it came out with some kind of stir fried beef. It's an okay dish, but too salty for my taste. - Larb salmon. We also thought it would come with salmon sashimi, however, it came out with fried filet salmon. This one is actually on us because we didn't double check with the waitress. Not the dish we expected, not so impressed. Kao soi duck. The only star of the night. Tasted amazing, we regret that we didn't order 2 kao soi instead. We might come back just to get it. Gotta make it 3 stars because 3 out 4 dishes that we ordered were not so good, especially the wings. Our waitress was very nice.

We arrived around 10:15 p.m. on a Friday night, with the restaurant closing at 11:00 p.m. Maybe that contributed to our experience, although several other parties were seated after us, so we weren't the last customers of the evening. We ordered quickly since we already knew what we wanted. My partner ordered the special, I ordered the ramen, and we shared the fried shrimp dumplings as an appetizer. Our server was friendly and attentive, though it was clear the staff was beginning to transition into closing mode. Unfortunately, that affected the atmosphere. While we were still eating, employees were spraying tables and mopping nearby. The smell of cleaning chemicals mixed with our food, which made the dining experience less enjoyable. When my ramen arrived, it looked more like a wonton soup or pho than the ramen I was expecting. I didn't question it because I assumed it might be their interpretation of the dish. However, the broth was quite bland, and the vegetables were still somewhat undercooked. The chicken had no seasoning, it tasted like it was boiled within the broth. After a few bites and sips, I decided not to finish it. My partner seemed to enjoy his meal, though he tends to be pretty easygoing when it comes to food. I didn't try his dish since it was very spicy and that's not really my thing. The restaurant is in a great location on Central Avenue, which makes it a fun area to walk around and people-watch. However, with most dishes priced around $20, I expected a better overall experience and higher quality food. Unfortunately, this isn't a place I would return to.

We were excited to find a Sushi place a few doors down from where we were starting our weekend with a New Japanese HeadSpa Experience. (Checkout that review as well) We just wanted a quick roll to get something in our stomachs. The interior was nice and clean. It was themed nicely with touches of Asian elements. The Service was great as well. There was no one in the pace as we were there around 1-1:30 on a Friday, but we did see to go orders being picked up. The server was very nice and attentive to us through the meal. The challenge came with the sushi. The rice was hot not cold or room temp. I watched the sushi maker put a thing of rice in the microwave, but I thought that was to replace what she was using to make our sushi, but... NOPE it was for our dishes. It really turned my wife's 2 California rolls and my specialty curry heat = Spicy Salmon roll into the worst sushi we have ever had. The sushi roller needs to realize you should never use warm rice for sushi. We let it sit for a couple minutes to get the rice to be a cooler temp. Then once they were palatable, we ate them. The fish was fresh, but not spicy at all. The roe was such a small portion on the end pieces of the roll. Roe should be spread across all the pieces when it says it's part of the roll. Food to Value ratio: ok. If the rice and citrus heat were as they should have been it would have been a better Value. We paid 40$ with tip for 1 specialty roll and 2 California rolls. I paid less for the same meal at other places around St. Pete. We will most likely hit one of those spots next time, but... AS ALWAYS TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!
