After talking with tons of mostly women Restora was HIGHLY recommended by so so many people. Dr Reid is who did my revision. I was blown away at the difference in getting the surgery done with Restora. The day of surgery was so nice it was in their own private surgery center. My tummy tuck in 2017 was in a hospital like setting, The Dr came in and the anesthesiologist asked a few questions as they were wheeling me out of the room then BAM! I was done and I was rushed out of the bed to go home because they had other surgeries. This time was so so much calmer and relaxing. I loved ALL the little things. The heated toilet seat, the cap that warms your head, the comfortable room you wait in. How calm and friendly everyone was Afterwards my follow ups with Lauren ( she is so awesome) I asked the same questions 100 times she always answers me like I'd never asked before, she is always very patient and explains everything till I am good to go and never feel rushed. This last appointment To my surprise, I received a little gift bag with 20complimentary units of tox and a card with a referral for a lymphatic massage. I scheduled my massage, Sanae was incredible ! At the end wanted to pay she said the first one Restora paid for! WHAT? Im still blown away by this practice. They are all so incredibly kind, gorgeous and talented at what they do. I am so so happy with my results 3weeks out, I feel so good about my decision. I have a small business myself so I notice all the little things because that is what creates the experience, mix that with great work and you have luxury. I was told they would go away within a year, so when 2 years went by and it had not improved, Dr. Gordon eventually agreed to remove the hard parts. I was not put under for this, and gave me a medication to calm me down since I was going to be cut open fully conscious. Her team did not even give the medication time to kick in before they started the procedure, because Ashley Gordon had "other appointments immediately after mine" and they didn't have time to. Since this, she somehow made the galaflex even worse and I'm left with another scar and even worse results, and they are refusing to provide any type of resolution. I paid for cosmetic surgery because I trusted this surgeon and her team with my body. Instead, this experience has caused me years of distress. Choosing Dr. Ashley Gordon for my breast augmentation is one of my biggest regrets. I would strongly encourage anyone considering surgery here to look elsewhere.

On the other hand, before my own surgery, I saw all the 5-star reviews and zero 1-star reviews and thought that meant no 1-star reviews existed. I sincerely question that after my own offer of a full refund but only in exchange for my silence. Someone asked recently about the contact he asked me to sign in exchange for a full refund ($15,050) so I attached a photo of it. It reads (in part): "THAT I fully understand that from this day forward I will not speak about this case or Dr. Andrew P. Trussler, M.D. publicly (i.e. media- news, print, or electronic) or privately. Also, there will not further public (e.g. signage or voice amplification) or private demostrations (sic) nor discussing this case with any other persons. If I continue any of the above mentioned I am hereby notified I will incur treble civil penalties." It is very difficult to sue for medical malpractice in the state of Texas, and even then, the damages are capped at an amount that might not even be worth the trouble after the emotional drain and attorney's fees. There is very little accountability required. Be very, very careful about who you choose to literally trust with your life.

I went to Dr. Caridi for my 2nd Gynecomastia revision surgery. My first two surgeries were…read moreexcision-only without liposuction. My case was very minor - my main concern was getting rid of the small amount of remaining gland. Unfortunately he has left my chest looking far worse than before. The incisions at the areola look sloppy and healed poorly, part of an areola lost its pigment, the nipples fold into themselves when warm, and there's severe cratering and loose skin. Obviously he was way too aggressive with liposuction. After the initial follow-up the day after surgery, Dr. Caridi and his office never reached out to me again to ask how I was healing up. And the healing was not easy. Following his massaging protocol didn't help much, if at all. At 6 months, left with terrible results, I finally reached out. Dr. Caridi was very dismissive about my concerns in the following months of email and photo exchanges. He kept assuring me the results would improve with more time. The language he used in his correspondences was highly unprofessional - at one point even saying that I was "torturing myself". After more complaining he finally offered to do a FaceTime call but I ultimately declined as I had lost all trust in him by that point. In hindsight, my first FaceTime consultation before surgery was rushed, casual, and non-specific. I only found out I was to have liposuction (in addition to excision) after the call when they forwarded me the bill. During that call he said some bizarre and unprofessional things which I won't repeat here. It was personal and inappropriate. I foolishly glossed over these red flags. Other reputable surgeons have since informed me I'll need up to 2 more surgeries to correct Dr. Caridi's mistakes with scar revisions and fat grafting. Please consider my example as a warning. I highly suggest you look elsewhere for surgery.

That has been the opposite of my experience with Synergy and Dr. Mehta's staff, and it's been a really disappointing experience. Basically, since the moment I paid for surgery, it's been like pulling teeth to get folks to communicate with me- terrifying when you are supposedly two weeks from a big surgery and don't know what's going on. I first had a consult with Dr. Mehta many months ago and arranged surgery for mid-August. We discussed at the time a genetic condition I have that was going to require cardiac clearance. No problem. I saw my cardiologist a month in advance of surgery, got clearance, and sent it over the same day. I spoke with his patient coordinator, Amanda, that same day. We spoke about provisions of my clearance in detail. She assured me that she had spoken to Dr. Mehta and that we were all good to go. She reached out about a week before my pre-op appointment that they needed payment in full. I expressed concerns again- are we sure everything is good to go for surgery? Shouldn't I wait to pay at my pre-op appointment? Not a problem, we're all set, she assured me, so I paid up. Flash to my pre-op last week, and Dr. Mehta seemed a bit caught off guard when I mentioned my clearance and asked for reassurance that we were all good to move forward as planned. He reassured me we were, but then about 30 minutes after I left the office, a member of his staff called me to let me know they wouldn't be able to do the surgery as planned because they'd looked into my condition more and talked to the anesthesiologist (something that anyone could have done over the months I've been in this process). I asked to speak to Dr. Mehta, who was apologetic and reassured me that his team would look into other options and call me back ASAP, since we were less than three weeks out from surgery and he knew I had already rearranged my life. It's been radio silence since then. I've sent emails which have gone unanswered. I spoke to their head of coordinators yesterday after I called, who was supposed to call me back or give me an update yesterday, and didn't. I spent months planning for a surgery, arranging time off and child care, and now I've just been left in the lurch, with a bunch of wasted time, waiting on a refund and still waiting for folks to treat me like a human and actually communicate with me. If you want to be treated like just a number, maybe this place is for you. But if you are like me (first timer, nervous about major surgery, want to feel like people are taking great care of you), I would steer clear of Synergy.
