Beans. Rice. Stale, hollow "cheese" empanada, super dry grilled chicken.

The food had potential if only it were fresh. The beans and race were amazing. But the check was dry like it had been sitting for a long time. The $3 tiny "cheese" empanada had clearly been sitting all day. There was a tiny piece of dried up cheese inside the mostly hollow, chewy, stale empanada. Also, I think that it was supposed to come with avocado. It did not. Again ..taste wasn't bad but the quality definitely impacted the overall experience. Same with the chocolate cake...it had potential but was dry and stale tasting. Disappointed overall, especially for how much I paid.

First time ever having Latino food too for whatever reason. It was recommended to me by a friend of mine. Pork was a tad dry, but super tasty. The rice and beans were fantastic. I can eat these empanadas all day

Alcapurrias was difficult to eat but I could have given it a better chance by reheating it. Potentially better when fresh.

I heard many coworkers talk about this place so I was eager to try it. My fiancé is Puerto Rican so he grew up with this food. We were both disappointed. Hope the pictures help

This is a Dominican restaurant. I had never had Dominican food before - so needless to say I was excited to try it out. First of all there was a line here and the people preparing the Togo plates took forever! Like any typical Spanish place they can pack in the rice. One of these Togo plates can easily be shared with two people. I ordered white rice, gandules, pollo asado and a pionono. The pionono was absolutely delicious. It's basically mashed plátano stuffed with meat. By far the most delicious Spanish appetizer I've tried. One thing I loved about this place is that you can tell them less rice, more meat and vice versa. You can basically customize your plate. They don't have a calculator so they literally sum up your total with their brains lol. So make sure they don't over charge you. We bought meals for 4 adults with drinks and apps for $22 yup $22. I wish I could have a location like this near me. So cheap and delicious!

I Love Sazon, I literally drive 30mins to come to this restaurant.. My Favorite is Pork Shoulder & Fried Chicken w/Yellow Rice & Cup of beans.. I realized 2day that My card was charged $7 dollars more than the receipt I signed & I never leave any room w/any purchase for restaurants to change it so after I left there they must have done it then & its possible..I checked My bank statement today realized I was charged extra.. You know I do enjoy coming here even thou I feel like I get attitude because I can't speak Spanish so now this just adds to it, So now they think I'm a fool & over charged me probably thinking, I wouldn't notice.. I'm frugal with My money to the penny so I notice everything.. SO DONT USE CARDS OR THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU !!!! I GAVE $ 5 DOLLAR TIP IN CASH !! SO YAAA

They spend a great amount of time making roasted chickens and taste fantastic! There is nothing like it in Worcester.

Very good Dominican restaurant. Cheap. If you don't eat meat, nothing beats rice and beans.

A lovely restaurant, classy & approachable with a lively atmosphere & fun vibe. Great, tasty…read moreSpanish tapas, we usually go during a birthday or celebration. Food is adventurous & bold; memorable meals over the years: Fried Goat cheese with charcuterie meats, manchego cheese & french bread, have to do The Bocado Experience for 2 or 4, Jamon Iberico, Pato (duck pastrami w sherry glaze), tuna poke, atun de bocado (seared yellowfin saku tuna), braised pork belly, Spanish octopus, mussels in cream sc, twin mini Kobe style beef burgers, venison, fried calamari, lollipop lamb chops, seared beef tenderloin, classic paella & Paella de Mariscos, & baked flan for dessert. Just so fascinating - their chefs can put out such tasty small plates so quickly, each packed with such fresh & exciting flavors, always cooked to perfection (never over or under cooked). Get the sangria pitchers, bar is always packed & hopping. Dining room just got a refresh, but was beautiful even before with a great atmosphere also. Our least favorite was the rabbit (way too many small bones to pick out).

Okay, well. DO NOT EXPECT TO PHOTOGRAPH YOUR FOOD & HAVE YOUR CAMERA EAT FIRST here (this also…read moreincludes the cocktails). The food presentation just aint it.....there is none. I would suggest to them using smaller appetizer platters so the food doesn't look like it got slapped on them straight outta the pan with literally no care & respect for the ingredients. The Gambas Al Ajillo deserved more than 2 pieces (NOT SLICES) of croutons, The pork belly & polenta dish was unbalanced & there was hardly any polenta to be evenly shaped between a party of 4, It was the saddest looking octopus dish I've ever seen next to a pile of spices potatoes. Just because it is a tapas wine bar, doesn't mean they're given a pass to ignore how appealing it looks to guests. Hit or miss for the mai tais (the bartenders need to work on their ratios). Bcuz why am I can just order a screwdriver with the amount of orange juice we were given. HOWEVER, everything is edible & incredibly delicious. The authentic Spanish flavors absolutely shine thru!

There were loads of options for vegetarians (which is not something I remember from our earlier experiences), I had a couple delicious vermouths, my wife had a lovely orange wine, my kids were happy, and the service was friendly. As always, Toro was packed (I think it's been packed consistently since the day it opened) and lively. What a neighborhood gem. Long may it remain.

We made it clear that we would gladly crowd the table and make it work but we're told that there literally weren't enough chairs. Which was not true. At one point we were told the the add could "stand" at the table. It is extraordinary that she made this statement. It is profoundly galling. I didn't catch her name but it was a slightly heavyset woman in a leopard skirt. I am sure they this is a lively spot with a decent rep and lots of business. However, when a place starts to think that they no longer exist to serve customers but rather that customers are lucky to eat here they will quickly go down hill-- frankly a sign that it already has. Arrogance is rarely rewarded in this industry. And this place is not good enough to be arrogant. The pluses do not outweigh the minuses. Our other opted to go off on his own. We ate. The food is wildly overpriced. $9 for 2 slices of a baguette with tomato puree. I make this at home and the food cost is about $0.75. The other items weren't quite as absurdly priced but I found the pricing for the pan con tomate idiotic. The food was solid overall, not amazing. The service was okay from the waitstaff but somewhat intermittent. The experience overall left a bad taste in my mouth. I was happy when it was over. To add insult to injury they allow smoking on the sidewalk tables and the people next to us were smoking something pretty vile from a vape pen.
