EVERYONE WHO CONSIDERS USING SBC WASTE, PLEASE READ YOUR CONTRACT THOROUGHLY. They automatically renew your 5-YEAR contract without your consent. By YOU not sending a certified letter to them saying you want to cancel BEFORE the contract is up (not sooner than 180 days but not later than 90 days - WHAT?!?!?)....automatically renews it. They don't give you notice, ask you if you want to renew. THEY JUST RENEW IT QUIETLY and suck you into another 5-year contract. Then if you try to cancel that renewal, you have to pay a cancellation fee of 6 months worth of service to BUY OUT that contract to get out of it. A monthly fee that used to be $45 when I first started is now regularly closer to $150+ once you add in all the fees that they don't walk you through when you sign. But the biggest issue is now I have to pay thousands to cancel and to lawyer up against these people. PSA -READ THE FINE PRINT. They are very quick to send you a letter telling you they will sue you if you no longer want to use their services. BUYER BEWARE. read more

I had a 1 star review up that this company took down. Karen, who is listed as the owner contacted me about accusing me of being from another garbage company. I gave her my address and business name and the time that the sales rep came in but yet they still took my review down because it was a negative and a true review. Looking at this page and there Facebook page they apparently do not want any negative feedback. They have a sales rep who is named John Florian he came into my business weeks ago but I met him a few years ago and still have his business card. At that time he went by Jack Nugent. We did not do business with him then and most certainly will not do business with him now. He is a typical fast talking salesmen who cannot be trusted . What is his real name? What are they hiding? I can only speak for myself and a few other handicap neighbors who also are over 75 years of age. We all are thrilled that SBC is now doing trash removal in Bloomingdale. We have taken advantage of their offer to let us place our trash containers right outside our garage door rather than the bottom of the driveway. It will be much safer, especially when the bad weather comes in the winter. Thanks SBC for this service which we greatly appreciate. read more

As a business owner I have a lot of options for trash removal, this company has been the best by far. They show up when they say they will, even to pick up a roll off bins last minute and I couldn't appreciate that aspect more. The guys that run the place are good guys that address any issue I have, again even when i have to call last minute. There werre two overflowing dumpster in an alley near my house. It was surprising because that are is usually well maintained. SBC was the service provider. I called to complain. Once the company owner was made aware of the situation, it was cleaned within an hour. The owner was very apolegetic about his staff's initial reaction. It has been clean ever since. We needed some dumpsters for our home renovation project this summer. The pandemic gave me ample time to handle some long put off projects. I found SBC and they were very efficient and affordable, I even needed to replace my full dumpster early and it was no issue, they were there the next day to replace my full one with a new one. Just wanted to update this review. I had an emergency on a Saturday afternoon and had a small fire and needed a box I called them and they had a box out to my place in an hour I was blown away . I also found out later that they are the only women owned trash company in Chicago so they will be getting all my properties and I will pass on the word to all my friends. I am very happy with making the decision to change our trash and recycling company. I know some don't know the cost that comes with waste and recycling solutions for business's, but it's a bill like any utility. A woman owned company! Family owned and operated, as a small business they sounded like the right choice. I have used them for 4 months and they have been great. The driver was fantastic. Delivered and removed the dumpster without any problem. We had some items that our village wouldn't take, but we called and Rich directed us to a place that would take them for free. Everyone was amazing here.
