This is in a narrow Cook county alleyway. 2 other companies say they can't drop a bin in my spot, but City Suburban Dumpsters has made it work every-time. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS, I WOULD. The driver hit my fascia, the owner NEVER called me and I had to call the office numerous times. Office manager Zilvinas, Zee, would not let me speak with the owner, Linas, after I reported their driver hit my fascia 2 days prior. I had emailed details of the driver hitting my fascia, claiming the owner would call me that day to fix the issue and nothing. I had to follow up then be told my Zee that I couldn't speak with the owner. I emailed a quote to have my fascia fixed for $450 by a A+ listed better business bureau roofing company. I called and emailed numerous times with no follow up. Once I finally got in contact with Zee, he said I could either 1) have his office "handy man" fix my fascia because the $450 quote was too much money for their business to pay or 2) I could get a refund for my dumpster rental which was $396, less than the $450 needed for my fascia to be fixed. Unfortunately, my house is a fixer upper and I don't have the time to take this business to small claims court so we chose the refund of $396, $54 less than what I was quoted for my fascia repair. This owner has absolutely no control over his office and now I need to pay for a new fascia, this business has damaged. I wouldn't be surprised If I'm not the only one who had property damage as their truck was filled with dents and scratches everywhere. They called to say sorry and they have to cancel 45 minutes AFTER scheduled delivery time!!! I called early in the morning around 8 am requesting same day delivery, the man on the line sounded doubtful but said they could pull it off, Mind you their website advertisers same day delivery. they said I would have a 10 yard dumpster by 2PM. at 2:45 PM they call to say they can't make it. They apologized, but didn't offer to deliver the next day at a discount or any kind of compensation. I had to dish out $180 to 4 guys for coming out to labour but they couldn't get any work done. This whole experience has cost me $180, set me back a day, and completely wasted my time the day of the scheduled delivery. I recommend using Bracken Box in the Chicago area. I've ordered about a dozen dumpsters from them over the last 4 years and they always do as they say. had to try and use someone else because I needed a last minute same day delivery. read more

They upcharge you on the permit fees and then lie about it. Look it up on the city website yourself, but they generally charge $50-75 more then the actual permit fee for the permit. read more
