I found Skye online and went in for a refill. They checked my lashes to see if my New York provider was applying in a similar way. Was happy they were able to work with my current lashes, eliminating the need to remove my current application. My refill took an hour and a half which is a bit longer than I'm used to but the end result was lovely. They stayed on about the same amount of time as my other providers applications have. The technician and friendly and was good at communicating with me around my comfort. I actually had to immediately leave town after for a month so I got a touch up out of town. The person who did my touch up commented on how nicely done my application from Skye was, no overuse of glue, neatly applied. Looking forward to going back when I return home! The only cons i have is the space is relatively cluttered and small but they are going through some restructuring i believe. The location is slightly hard to find, and the initially paperwork is a bit overwhelming and can be alarming to some who are not familiar with lash extensions. The most unprofessional salon I have ever had to deal with. The day of my appointment came -- one day prior to my 10-day vacation, mind you -- and no one answered the phone at the office. I called when the salon was supposedly open, so I ended up leaving a voicemail, which no one returned. After the call, I received an AI message asking how they could help me, and I replied, "I want to confirm my appointment for today." The operator replied with my appointment details and asked me to confirm if that was the correct appointment. I answered "yes," and it replied that my appointment had been confirmed. Almost two hours passed. I was five minutes from the salon and called because I ran into traffic and was worried I would be late. Well, it turns out I had no appointment because my supposed lash tech no longer works there, and no one bothered to inform me via email, call, or message. I asked if I could be seen by anyone else, and they said no. And to top it all off, when I asked why I wasn't informed earlier so I didn't have to drive all the way to the salon, the lady said, "Yeah, that's my fault. I was running late to work today." Disappointment is an understatement. Horrible customer service. All in all, I am grateful I didn't give them my money.
